Good day everyone! Just now I got around to leaving a review about the "Chervona Kalyna" sanatorium. As soon as we decided to go here on vacation, I immediately started reading reviews and it was something scary. The reviews were extremely negative, there was a lot of negativity about the staff itself, about the number pool and so on. Therefore, I was a little afraid to go, since this is my first experience of recreation in a Ukrainian sanatorium. But how pleasantly surprised I was when we still arrived at this sanatorium. I rested there with my husband from October 23 to November 3.2022. When we checked in, we were supposed to be accommodated in a family double room, but at the time of our arrival it was not available, so we were accommodated in a luxurious junior suite, in which we lived for 3 full days absolutely free, then when a free family room appeared, we were transferred to it .
According to the number of rooms, junior suites usually look much better, it is obvious that they have been renovated, we had a family room on the 3rd floor, which had a very beautiful view of the territory of the sanatorium. The room itself is small, I called it a room renovated in 2000, there was a large double bed, a table, chairs, a mirror, a refrigerator, wardrobes for things, a separate bathroom with a toilet, the renovation was a little worse in the bathroom than in the room itself, but everything is decent , clean It is also important to say that we were with a dog, there was no extra charge for the dog, the staff was very nice even when we had to leave the dog alone in the room. Never had any problems with it. I would like to note separately the sanatorium's kitchen, it is dietary, the portions are large, every day we were given a menu for the next day, where we could choose the dishes we wanted, it was very convenient! Although the food is simple and dietary, it is very tasty.
Several times a week in the evening there were discos, film screenings or some artists came, we went to the performance of the "Volyn Choir". As for the procedures, I personally liked everything. Of course, all the equipment used in the procedures dates back to the 90s, but the health-improving nature of these procedures was no less high-quality, in my opinion. We were very pleased with the prices for the procedures: massages from UAH 90, health baths from UAH 80, ozokerite, hydrokinesis, underwater shower-massage, hot shower - all this costs a penny. When we first arrived, on the first day there was a power outage, we were without electricity for 8 hours, accordingly, no procedures were carried out, but from the next day there were no outages, and there was electricity and the Internet for all 9 days. By the way, the Internet was available both in the room and at the reception desk. Separately, I want to note the huge and very neat territory of the sanatorium. This is just a fairy tale! A lot of greenery, trees, a beautiful well-kept embankment with access to the water. Everything is cleaned, everything is beautiful.

It was relatively warm in the sanatorium, the heating was turned on at night, so it was practically not cold. The hot water was on schedule, which scared me at first, but after getting used to it, it didn't bring any trouble. As for the staff, no one ever raised their voice at us, no one was rude, on the contrary, everyone is very nice and friendly, it is clear that the staff is interested in people coming to them. A very nice woman who works at the phytobar, every day she offered some new types of teas, smoothies, fresh drinks. Everyone at the reception is also adequate. So, my husband and I were very satisfied, as the vacation was super inexpensive and corresponded to its price. Of course, if you are used to resting in expensive 5-star hotels, then you will have complaints here, but in my opinion, everything was at a high-quality level.
