Nice clean hotel with a cozy area. Very tasty breakfast buffet. Free, stable WI-FI. Not far from the sea. True, you need to go down and up the stairs. Opposite the window of the room on the ground floor there is a lantern. Excellent combination of price and quality.

We spent the night for one night. Room 209, small, everything is fine, there were not enough bathrobes, shelves near the mirror in the corridor, I had to run either to the room or to the bathroom. I didn’t want to look for a cleaning lady, I had to use a white towel. A hair dryer with a short wire was inconvenient.

I would like to have at least a small bottle of water in the room - there was nothing. Water near the reception in the cooler - you don’t run into it. From the pros: breakfast is included, the choice was pretty good - we ate.

I'll try to be short and to the point. We came here because a couple of years before that my husband was here on a corporate trip . . then everything was different. More our companies will not come to you. The location is average, close to a couple of clubs and expensive restaurants. It is contraindicated for old people to stomp on foot to the sea along the steps long for eternity, with a child, for the elderly.

There is a place on the beaches (which is good) and you can rent sunbeds and bungalows - an average of up to 800 UAH per day.
The food at the hotel - the breakfasts that are included in the price are sad (I understand that this is not Turkey and Egypt, BUT for 12.600 UAH for 4 NIGHTS you can feed normally, things are worse with drinks - either for a fee, or drink brown liquid ( coffe), milk is enough for half a breakfast (whoever has time is well done), it is better not to drink compote (sugar and dye to taste).
You can’t eat on the street, there are really cozy tables and chairs, but there is food for the elite - apparently for 12 thousand for 4 days we didn’t become the elite...
Let's go back to the beginning. . . we had an early check-in, which of course was reported in advance and PRE-PAID the cost of the room for all 4 days! (it was worth thinking about the hotel at this moment... )
me, my husband and daughter in a stroller - only the guards near the barrier greeted us pleasantly. At the reception at that moment there was some kind of girl who was clearly not happy with us, she asked who we were and whether we had a reservation... There was a feeling that we were at the wrong address or something interfered with her. Dear administration, you do not have a HILTON with 1000 rooms, we were the only ones for an early check-in! We arrived alone with a small child - REALLY difficult to check, being on a shift, which of the guests to wait for and politely say hello, specifying "are you such and such? " that would look cool! could give the impression that they were waiting for us . . but it turned out how it happened.
Then it turned out that you do not have an elevator, but there are steep slippery steps, the girl at the reception answered my reasonable question in a rude and mocking way how to get up with a stroller... ok, the guard helped us.
Why we weren’t offered a room on the first or second floor is a mystery, maybe there weren’t any free ones... or maybe when booking in advance, no one thought in advance about guests with children and strollers and didn’t assume that it was inconvenient to run up and down with a stroller...
We came to the room - there is no crib... we warned, we asked, ok, we moved the pedestals (they made room) a call to the reception, the crib was brought (brought quickly) - the crib is yours G... its price is 300 UAH, but at least the wall she fell . . so no, she was nailed with nails (
The shower is not very clean, the fastening of the shower itself is bad, it hit them on the head three times.
On the balcony, the clothes dryer is evenly under the dripping air conditioner.
ALL would be nothing. You can survive everything, BUT the incident in the room was a turning point. . .
Due to professional employment, my husband was forced to work the whole trip, working at a computer. And sitting in an expensive room, he preferred to work on the balcony... to our surprise, the furniture in the room is not very good (rather normal) BUT there are rusty CHEAP two chairs on the balcony (hello China for $ 1). The result was predictable, the chair broke, the husband fell and hit his head (with the back of his head and spine, the laptop fell naturally, his case crashed. An urgent call to the receptionist, nothing, no apologies, an offer to replace the chair, and that’s it! When asked about compensation or repair laptop - an unequivocal refusal. The second call - the administration claims that the furniture was checked and everything was fine - we looked at the second chair. in the same places (as on the broken one) there is rust and holes - voids, that is, it will fold under exactly the same a person weighing more than 70 kg. The husband refused medical assistance - as always, but they began to sort out the laptop (corporate), the breakdown was only the body, replacing it would cost 800-1000 UAH! Let me remind you that we paid 12 thousand 600 UAH for the room! The administration refused make amends! Offered a discount on a room next year! no words.
The rest of the time, the negative only accumulated.
The room was cleaned, not very good, but cleaned. They didn’t always put accessories in the bathroom, I had to look for maids a couple of times and ask for soap, toilet paper, shower gel...
by the way, these mini jars themselves are very cheap, it is written on them (a simple and inexpensive collection) in English, of course.
The number itself - for the money, the first impression - DISAPPOINTMENT, then resentment and anger. In terms of size, it is objectively like our kitchen, a corridor, there is a closet and 3 hangers in it (it was so expected for two guests with a child), she asked for hangers - they informed. In the closet space as for 1 night. the room has 1 double bed, two bedside tables, a refrigerator and a little space to walk through. The balcony is tiny, I wrote about the furniture above. BY THE WAY, the broken chair lay in our room... until I took it out into the corridor . . they said that there was nothing to change it for. there are no more free chairs in the hotel. . .
We wanted to leave earlier, as the hotel caused a continuous negative . . when booking, my husband indicated a late check-out - he paid for it with HALF of the room rate! Naturally, we were REFUSED to return even this amount of money! Despite such a number of jambs, physical and material damage inflicted on us, we were refused! You can't make all the money guys. .
The territory of the hotel is well-groomed, the gardeners did their best, the playground . . well, not for everyone, it's better than nothing.
A pleasant impression was left only by a security guard and an employee in blue uniform (perhaps a plumber or supply manager), these people sincerely smiled, greeted and helped to carry the stroller if they saw me.
Let me summarize:
1) The amount that we left would be enough for a vacation abroad - if YOU have a passport - do not go here, it will be more expensive than Greece.
2) The concept of service should begin from the moment of booking, take into account the wishes of the guests and anticipate the needs! FOR the money that you take in advance, YOU do not have the right to behave this way and offer such a service.
3) I got the impression that we attracted all the problems like a magnet... I am not in conflict and I always try to leave good reviews, but you pissed me off.
4) Cheap, broken furniture can lead to injury and damage to your property.
5) the hotel does not know how to resolve conflict situations and is not going to, why if everything has already been paid for and the guest is not going anywhere?...
I promised a review, I wrote it, now I will publish it everywhere. As you did, so we do to you.

We arrived in Odessa for a conference with a colleague for a day. We booked the hotel in advance. The price / location seemed optimal, nothing special was expected. The first impression was very pleasant: not big, but very well-groomed territory, clean air, greenery, birds. Settled. The room is a bit like a kids camp but very clean which is extremely important to me! The breakfast was a very pleasant surprise.

The hangover went just with a bang : )) I forgot my bag with all the money and documents in the restaurant! For an hour, no less. She ran in a cold sweat. Everything was returned to me with a sweet smile. After a fun night, the morning was difficult, you understand)) In continuation of the story, my colleague at the reception put down her mobile phone, which was also given in the best possible way. After check out, beach towels were rented for a nominal fee. In general, they left a very positive impression. Thank you very much to the staff for the decency and excellent service! We just forgot that at home, not abroad)))

My husband and I stayed at the hotel for 6 days. Stayed in a standard room.
Description of impressions about the hotel will start with the minuses. There are fewer of them than pluses, but for a 4-star hotel they are unacceptable.
1. We booked a room with an early check-in in advance. 2 days before the vacation, they called and said that they were canceling our early check-in reservation, because. they have some kind of group that they need to accommodate - and we are in the span. We were very angry, because. our train arrived at about 6:00 and you will agree that it is very inconvenient and tiring to walk around Odessa "on suitcases" until 14:00. Fortunately, the hotel offers to leave luggage with them. But still, we were left without breakfast, which we counted on, and returned to check-in at 14:00 very tired.
2. The first day we go to bed, we are horrified... The pillowcases were incredibly dirty! Sheet, duvet cover normal, white, but pillowcases!! ! It's just awful!! ! How can people do this?? ? There were many guesses: they wiped the floor - and made a bed, did not wash it after the previous settlers, etc. At 11:00 pm I called the reception to ask for more pillowcases. The request was immediately complied with. The old ones were taken away, the new ones were brought, but there was laughter when the brought ones turned out to be even worse than the previous ones. Yellow, in some kind of pebbles and spots. I had to pull a sheet over the pillows - there was no other option. Here is such a nightmare in a supposedly 4-star hotel. Is it really impossible to bleach, boil, well, in extreme cases, write off and buy new ones? The mattress cover also needs to be vacuumed or shaken out, because. a lot of long hair on it remains from previous vacationers.
3. The room is quite small. I was terribly short of furniture. There is only one millipendric closet in the room, which is uncomfortably placed on the passage in the corridor. There is simply nowhere to put things, there is simply nowhere to put suitcases! There were only 3 Soviet hangers in the closet. I asked to bring me more hangers, because. 3 - unacceptable. Firstly, there should be an even number of hangers, because. double room, secondly - there must be at least 6 of them, and for 4 stars - at least 8 pieces. , and thirdly - it's time to buy new hangers too, because they are old, from the 80s.
4. The hotel is located near the road where crazy drivers drive. It is very noisy, but it didn’t bother us much, but I sympathize with those who have children sleeping.
All ended with the negative. I hope that the hotel management will see and read my review and take action on the shortcomings.
And now for the good. . .
1. The hotel is very cozy. Good, beautiful area.
2. All rooms with balconies. For me, the presence of a balcony in the room is a must. And here you also with furniture and clothes dryer. Thanks for the balcony!
3. The room has a large enough fridge with a freezer!
4. Disposable shampoos, shower gels and soaps are replenished daily, towels are changed daily.
5. The bed was changed after 3 days. Although many hotels change only after 5 days. By the way, after changing the bed, we got normal clean pillowcases. So here, who cares. To whom are white, and to whom with boogers.
6. The hotel is located near the sea. The beaches are good. 5 minutes down the stairs - and you are at the sea. Also convenient transportation to the city center.
7. Very good breakfasts. Large assortment, although absolutely monotonous.
8. Good service, friendly staff. All requests were fulfilled on time.
In general, as for me, the hotel does not pull 4 stars. For quality 3 - yes, but you still need to grow up to 4x. Moreover, this is booking and some other sites attribute 4 stars to the hotel. Vele Rosse himself does not indicate anywhere how many stars he has.
We were very pleased with our stay at Vela Ross, despite some disappointments. We will definitely come again, only with our own bed. Have a good holiday everyone!
