The hotel itself is very nice, inside a modern and stylish interior. Very good location - close to the sea and close to where to go for a walk.
Upon arrival, they quickly settled in, the room is bright and spacious, there is everything you need to relax (refrigerator, TV, Internet on site, bathroom accessories). Cleaned well and every day.
We ate at the restaurant a couple of times, good choice on the menu and normal prices.
The service is top notch, the staff was always polite and ready to help.
Now "Gagarinn" has a modest 3 stars, but 2 swimming pools, a spa are being completed and they plan to claim the status of a five-star hotel. We'll see. If you do not take into account that this is the second line, then it may very well be.
We had a two-room suite on the 17th floor with a partial sea view from the window. There are a lot of construction sites around, so for now there is no perfect picture from the windows, but in the future there will be a spectacular sight.
Both rooms have air conditioning, plasma TV, work areas. Internet is free and fast. There is a mini-bar and a safe.
The bathroom has a large shower area, bidet, cosmetic mirror, gels, shampoos, caps. Bathrobes, slippers, towels - based on the number of guests (my children and I received, respectively, 4 sets).
Breakfasts in "Gagarinn" - for an additional fee of 80 UAH. per person per day. This includes any 2 hot dishes to choose from (cooked immediately after ordering), coffee or tea, juice, water. Very tasty, good choice, but waiting in the morning for 40-50 minutes for your order is still a pleasure.
To the sea (near Arcadia) 7-10 minutes walk. Public transport is available from the hotel to the city centre.
In front of the entrance to the hotel - its guarded free parking. One of the evenings we arrived late from the city, there was no place in front of the hotel. We were escorted to the parking lot of a nearby hotel. So it's also free.
Of the minuses:
- audibility is very good;
- no balcony;
- when checking out, you have to wait 10 minutes at the reception: they call the floor, the maid checks the number, calls back, gives the go-ahead and "voila! You are free. " Somehow I have never had to deal with such distrust of the guests before.
