We rested in Chabanka in August 2012. with husband and 5 year old child. In life, everything turned out to be not as bad as I expected : ). I believe that it is very important to tune in to rest, and not look for flaws that can always be found. The staff is quite friendly, responded to our requests, what could be done quickly - they did.

We had a drip tray in the shower, even the chief engineer came, but it was necessary to redo everything completely, so we were left with a leaking tray and a rag : ), although, we must pay tribute, we were offered to move to another cottage, it was just reluctant to move. Everything else was in order, the air conditioner worked, the water was without interruption. The territory of the boarding house is very beautiful and huge, but it gives the impression of some neglect. The road to the sea is very long, but very picturesque, we decided that such a warm-up is good for health. Restaurant-dining room is quite normal. I don’t know what they write about terrible food, but in 2012 we were fed well. I can’t say that this is restaurant food, but everything is quite high quality, fresh, the portions are just huge! They brought us a tureen with so much first that you could eat six of us! For the child, we ordered dietary food, but they did not bring it to us immediately, we had to contact the administrator again. Instead of fried cheesecakes, the child was brought fresh cottage cheese, instead of barbecue - boiled meat, wonderful. Just during the period of our stay in Chabanka there was a strong hail, so it got colder. There were very few people on the beach, it was always clean : ), I don’t know how it will be in the heat. The pool is wonderful, it is small, but the temperature of the water and air is constantly maintained. It is very good that it is covered, it was cool outside, and we enjoyed swimming in warm water. In general, despite some disadvantages, which were not so egregious, we liked the rest. Booked again this year.

We had an excellent fishing trip (except for the lost shaved earrings - you will rest, dive under the bridge, you won’t regret it))), it’s good to take a separate gazebo for barbecue, but there were two of us, then four, it’s expensive - but since everyone was accommodated separately, we were alone under a huge awning.

We traveled in May, 2 adults and a child. We took an improved room in the medical building + extra bed (cot). The room itself is quite large, in the bath the shower was very inconveniently located to get out of it for a fat person without hitting a nearby pillar, it is problematic. There is only soap and shampoo in the bathroom, no shower gel or caps.

There is only soap and shampoo in the bathroom, no shower gel or caps. There are not enough hooks for clothes and a very small heated towel rail, it is unrealistic to place 3 large towels on it (+ a towel for hands and feet + where you need to dry clothes). They could have put a clothes dryer on the balcony, or at least pulled a rope (they pulled it themselves, tying it on one side to a pole and on the other to the balcony door, otherwise) There is a TV and a refrigerator in the room. Cleaning is normal but not every day. The bathroom mirror was never cleaned.
The pool is great, but the shower is disgusting of the two cabins, the shower works normally in only one.
Now about the dining room....yes, yes, to call this institution a restaurant is simply not a language. We went to Ukraine in the hope of tasting their delicious food, but ended up in a soviet canteen with soups on the water, terrible salads and tough meat. It was not the season, there were few people in the dining room, the food was brought quickly, but in the summer there will probably be problems. Once the child wanted to drink more juice, to which it was said "We have a portioned distribution of food and a second drink is not allowed" HORROR! And notice all this for a lot of money! The territory is large, beautiful, but it is not clear why they dug so many ponds, if there are not enough staff to follow them, the ponds have become shallow, dirty, overgrown, a huge number of frogs live in them, which croaked at night in every way and interfered with sleep. Maybe, of course, they will clean it up by the season, but in May the ponds looked terrible. A dog lives on the territory, a sweet kind mongrel, the children of course adore her but sometimes this dog barks at night running around the territory, chasing either hedgehogs or cats and disturbs sleep. who was tired and really wanted to sleep, to which it was said, "Well, what can we do, not kill her? On the territory there is a playground with a new good slide and a rocking horse. But there is still an old hill nearby, high and dangerous (boards fall off).

The nature is very beautiful, if you walk along the high banks, you will have a magnificent view of the sea, you saw dolphins once. works only on weekdays. (5 minutes by bus or forty minutes walk along the sea)
The water park has not been working for 4 years and it looks like it will not work, the building is crumbling.

We booked a triple cottage by phone (considering that we have two children, we were offered an extra bed for a 4-year-old child for free). The cottage is clean, comfortable, hot water around the clock, air conditioning turned on either for heat or for cold (depending on the weather), the food is good, the portions are large and tasty at home. There is a bar, a summer terrace on the lake. Every day we went to spa treatments, massages and baths, Soviet prices, the quality of vacation procedures is on top (believe me, there is something to compare with, if in other sanatoriums the hydromassage lasts 10-15 minutes, then in half an hour they will ask you if you are tired ). The pool and gym are included in the price. I also really liked the beach, it was felt that the staff followed and cleaned every 2-3 hours. In the evening we rented a brazier for 100 UAH, and on the shore of a wonderful lake we fried barbecue with children. I also appreciated the advantage of a closed territory and security, my son ran like crazy among ponds and fountains (the territory is just wonderful), but I was calm that nothing would happen to him. I was also pleased that a free circus performance was organized for the children with clowns, various animals, contests and prizes. . d.
