Of the minuses:
- very weak air conditioning, which does not cope with the size of the room - I had to sleep with the windows open;
- there is no mosquito net on the windows - so mosquitoes got into the room;
- the windows of the room overlooked the backyard of the hotel. Due to the fact that we slept with the windows open, twice early in the morning we were awakened by the hotel staff, who discussed something VERY LOUDLY during a smoke break, and once the driver of the car, who just stood and honked to come out to him;
- the handles on the windows are broken, or rather they are not screwed, but simply inserted;
- There was a cot for a child in the room. On the cot, the fasteners on most of the slats were broken and therefore they constantly fell out, one slat was missing at all. It was especially “pleasant” when the lamellas fell when you were sleeping (after one lamella fell out at night, the child just slept with us). The hotel management probably thinks that it will do for a child.
- there is nowhere to throw out the garbage in the room, which one way or another is collected during the stay in the room, except for a small urn in the bathroom there was nothing else. Probably, according to the idea, we had to eat everything with packaging.
- cleaning in the room - "none", i. e. in our case, they took out a bag of garbage that we left and that was all the cleaning ended. I had a birthday on the 22nd, ie on the 23rd. when we arrived and settled in, in the evening we bought a cake in the city, and where they eat, they asked for a plate with forks and a knife, and so this plate with forks in our room stood until the end of our stay at the hotel (it seems that the maids thought that we brought them with myself);
Once in our room, the maids forgot their "master" door key. We decided to give them into their hands, believing that if we give them at the reception they could be fined. Immediately sewed them through a few numbers from ours. Do you think they cleaned that room? Yes, that's right, they just sat on the bed and discussed something cheerfully, looking at the phone.
- replacement of a set of towels - every day - but sometimes new ones were worse than the previous ones, they were just dirty, they were taken away several times, but they forgot to put new ones in general;
- change of bed - every three days. The sheet on the bed was small in size, because of which it was constantly wrapped. They also think - and so it goes;
- on the last day (08/27/2020) they forgot to add shower gel to the shower, or they thought that it was enough for us to simply rinse in water, or I should have just gone to buy the gel I needed in the store. And perhaps they thought that we were the last day, and so it will suit us;
There was a lamp in the corridor, but it did not work. They also think - and so it goes;
- Wi-Fi - there is, but we can say that it is not there, so do not count on it much;
- in the description of the room it is indicated that there is a "Mini-fridge", it is - but it is a mini-mini and can only be used to cool drinks slightly.
We justified all the disadvantages with the advantages of this hotel, without contacting the reception. We tried to ignore the shortcomings. But the "process" of eviction radically changed our impression of this underhotel.
So, eviction.
Due to the fact that we were often not given the required number of towels during the replacement of towels, as on the last day (08/27/2020) we were not given three towels. We approached (08/28/2020) at the reception - gave our keys, we were told to wait until the maids check the room.
The room was "checked" and was told that we had taken three towels with us. We immediately explained that they were not there and this was not the first time. We were told that they would now call the maids who cleaned our room - "so deal with them yourself. " How we were supposed to “understand” is not clear.
The maids came and began to prove that they remember exactly that they put everything in exactly. The receptionist just stood silently pretending that it was none of her business.
As a result, I opened my suitcase, laid out all the things on the sofa in the lobby near the reception, the hotel security guard, who was standing next to me, pretended that he was not looking at our things. At the same time, the maids continued to prove that they definitely put everything in, despite the fact that I took out all the things from the suitcase and there were NO towels. After that, a second employee from the reception came up and began to offer us coffee in order to settle this conflict.
All this humiliation took place in the presence of the hotel staff and other guests of this hotel, who were in the hotel lobby.
During all this humiliation, one hotel employee was present near the reception (in my opinion, a representative of the hotel administration), and so she just stood and silently watched, perhaps considering that it was not her competence to intervene in this conflict, or maybe she just thought that it was beneath her dignity (we had to be present during her telephone conversation with another hotel guest - we got the impression that she, as a leader, could help her employees resolve this conflict).
Not quite a respected administration of this under-hotel, do you expose all your guests to public humiliation, or are we just lucky? Do you think you have the right to accuse anyone who stays with you of stealing? Do you think this is normal or is it normal for you?
After all this, is it possible to recommend your underhotel - I think NO.
- When we arrived at the hotel, we were told that for some reason standard rooms were booked for us??! ! After 40 minutes of clarification and waiting, we were given 2 rooms of the apartment. The third number was provided later.
There is no hair dryer in the rooms (Standard rooms of this hotel have a hair dryer, but for some reason the luxury apartments do not have a hair dryer??!! ). There is also no telephone and microwave, although the hotel website indicates that this is in the rooms!
The hotel is undergoing renovations, especially on weekdays. Of the pluses of the room is the presence of a boiler, and, accordingly, the availability of hot water around the clock; air conditioner; a large new bed with a mattress - it was very comfortable to sleep; rooms are cleaned, towels changed; in the kitchen area there is a refrigerator, an electric kettle, an electric stove, an extractor hood, a pot, a frying pan, a set of dishes for two. Also, one of the advantages is the possibility of early check-in for free, subject to availability. We also had Wi-Fi in the rooms.
The rooms are new, which is very nice, but there is a smell of renovation and there are various shortcomings: in the first room, the boiler did not work, so there was no hot water; there was no bulb in the sconce; the door in the bedroom did not close - a crooked box; on the hood, the light button was not fixed - the light shines only if you hold the button; the TV is not flat (as it says on the hotel website); there was no tap water in the kitchen. The electric stove did not work in the second room. And the third room was much smaller than the previous two rooms (obviously not 32 square meters declared on the hotel website). Poor soundproofing in the rooms, through the wall you can hear a conversation on a mobile phone. View from the windows of the rooms for renovation (stones, concrete mixer. . . ). The location of the hotel is convenient, 10-15 minutes walk to the sea and beaches. Close to shops, supermarket, minibus stop. The city center can be reached in 15 minutes.
Sincerely,
administration of the hotel "Arcadia".
