About food. Lviv. IMF
Well, in continuation of the "dumpling" theme.
I repeat, I'm not a big fan of dumplings, dumplings, ravioli, etc. But I will not refuse outright. Encouraged by my impressions of Lutsk, on my last trip to Lviv I visited the International Varenichny Fund, which I had previously ignored. And not just visited, but 2 days went there for work, because it's still worth having lunch there at least once!
ATMOSPHERE.
The IMF I visited is right in front of the Latin Cathedral, on the street. Cathedral, 3. I know that there is another one directly opposite the Potocki Palace (it is already on Copernicus Street).
In "my" interior of Provence - soft pastel tones, light furniture, pleasant music (music channel), plasma TV. Small room, but very cozy, and soooooooo nice staff.
In the "program": a dozen types of dumplings (with different fillings, plus fried), hnikali, manta, dumplings, tortellini, + first courses, + salads, + juices, coffee, tea. I don't remember if there were desserts.
Sculpt everything by hand. Portions are large. The first time I got there was at lunchtime - there were a lot of "locals" having lunch during their legal lunch break. In my opinion, this is a sure sign that it is cheap and tasty.
There is also beer, etc. alcohol (a couple of Russians ordered dry white wine for her, for him - a glass of Lviv beer).
To the products from the dough - a lot of different interesting sauces, prepared here to order.
Average check: on the first visit -
dumplings with cherries +
= 30.00 UAH
The next day -
tortellini with meat +
Pesto sauce +
= 60 hryvnias
Tea is brought in a teapot, and you can, slowly drinking it, relax with your feet and brains from the "culture shock" that always accompanies me personally in this city. Because a simple turn of the head opens a new "curiosity" for you, and the number of these very "curiosities" per square meter exceeds all conceivable limits!
In 2 days I was convinced that the institution is very popular. At the same time, to his right and left, there are still catering establishments, but this is what the people had the most. There are both ours and tourists.
A young couple with a child, having dinner at the next table, was touched. They asked each other, “Well, how are you, savor? (I mean, it's delicious for you) ”Well, believe me, they can only build a phrase like that in Lviv!
It can be confidently recommended to both adults and families with children. Both for a quick "snack" on the run, and for a leisurely lunch.
