We arrived in Lviv at 12 midnight. From the railway station go 700 meters, BUT go along the old bridge, which staggers, past a bunch of drunks and now a "wonderful" view of the Oscar hostel opens.
The building is 4-storey, the hostel is on the 4th floor, the elevator does not work, well, heavy bags were brought up the stairs. The smell from the very doorstep is not the best, let's just say.
We got to the so-called "reception", where there is no possibility of paying by card, and the nearest ATM, as well as the store itself, is more than a kilometer away. We were seated only after 10 minutes.
About the building itself: it looks like a hospital. A long corridor with doors to rooms on both sides. We were escorted to our room by a woman from the reception, and then the MOST TERRIBLE began.

The room is dirty, stinks, there is no air conditioner and fan, I am already silent for the mirror and wardrobe. Old dirty blankets, pillow stinks, burped (sorry) on the carpet, and not even wiped. The windows overlook the depot and you can hear very trains, and they go there all the time, and the room is stuffy that it is impossible to sleep with the window closed. Audibility between rooms is very good. We slept in our things, because we were afraid to pick up something there, the picture is really terrible. The walls are painted yellow and everything is dirty, the sockets sparkle, in general, this is a Soviet-type camp.
But the most interesting thing was waiting for us after leaving the room. For many rooms (I think 50 people) there are 2 showers for women and 2 for men. So, in a man's shower in the sink, a homeless man was washing! The real bum, what is it that you have going on there ? ? Naturally, there is no hot and even warm water, and men can go to the toilet and shower (I'm talking about women). Since it was late at night, we decided to stay there already, due to the fact that we were tired and fell asleep, but the smell of the stench haunted the entire stay there.
Paid for a 4-bed room 155 UAH per person! (I would not have paid 10 UAH for this sharaga if I had known). It’s really scary there that strange people or homeless people can just come in the middle of the night, since the doors are thin, and the lock is held on by snot.
For comparison, we lived in a chic hostel in the center of Lviv for 190 UAH per person, a difference of 30 UAH, as it were. We thought closer to the station would be good - because in the morning the train. Yeah, it wasn't there!
In general, if you want extreme sports - you are here. The area is terrible, the room is even worse.
The most interesting thing is that in the photographs it is completely different, do not be fooled by the photo.
I hope my review will save at least someone from this terrible place. Don't repeat our mistakes.
