I stayed in this boarding house in August for the first and last time!
I read the reviews and decided to give it a try. To be honest, I don’t understand where so much enthusiasm comes from? I understand that the warm, clean, gentle sea covers the negative impression of the living conditions, but not to the same extent! Now, in order: we lived with a 3-year-old daughter together in a double room with amenities for 110 UAH. from a person. The room is very small even for one person, there are spiders everywhere, the walls are dirty: everything is smeared with insect corpses and various stains, the windows are dirty, dust is everywhere, the curtains are in greasy stains, the mattresses on the bed are old springs, creak from the slightest rustle. Plumbing - rusty and dirty, instead of a bath, just a hole in the floor, and clogged. When you take a shower - ankle-deep water! Near each number in advertising the arbor has been declared. In fact, there are only 4 pavilions for 5 rooms. When I asked a question about our gazebo, the owner said: “Ask there... ” In short, share as you like! By the way, these pavilions are also very dirty, underfoot - rotten leaves, dust on tables and chairs - in "three fingers" and cobwebs everywhere. On the playground, the same picture - dust on the swing, uncleaned leaves underfoot, and shells in the sandbox? This is despite the fact that there are tons of white clean sand on the beach! The pool is deep, only for children who can swim. With me, no one cleaned it and they said that the water is not changed throughout the season, they say it is flowing there. Meals in the dining room - for C grade. The food is simple, edible, large portions. They say that everything is always freshly prepared, but I doubt about dinners. Several times they gave some kind of casseroles with minced meat, sausage, mayonnaise, ketchup, tomatoes and mashed cheese. The impression is as if it is from some half-eaten leftovers. Again, this should not be given to a small child. After such a regular dinner, my daughter got poisoned, which further spoiled the impression of the rest in Poseidon. Staff - tortured some, unfriendly. About the owner, judging by the situation in the boarding house, everything is also clear. If only to earn more money, by the way, he did not give me the change for the room. The amount is 20 UAH, but you also need to earn it! Extremely dishonest person! The only plus is that it was quiet and calm at the base, no discos in the evenings and drunken orgies. I strongly do not recommend this hostel!
