We waited 2 hours for arrival. Buses are not allowed into the territory, so it takes about 15 minutes to go to the administration (with 2 suitcases and a 3-year-old child). We were escorted to rooms, I will say this, poor decrepit savdepia. Do you remember in childhood a camp with wooden beds and a bedside table near the bed? So that's the way it is. There is 1 closet in the room, without shelves there are only 2 hangers, there is a shelf upstairs (it is very inconvenient to put something there) and a shelf for shoes. There is a table and a mirror hanging on the wall. The most ordinary shower separates from the toilet with a curtain and you have to stand on a cold tile. Hot water from 9 am to 1 pm and from 6 pm to 9 pm. Fortunately, there is a refrigerator (it is very loud to get used to) and a TV that does not work.
We have 2 maids in the building - one is boorish and rude, and the second student is a very kind and sympathetic girl. For the entire stay, we were moved 3 times to different rooms (with a small child and things not very cool). The first time we were overpowered because we asked, because after the rain we started to drip from the walls on our heads and legs. The second time they overpowered because, you see, an important delegation from Odessa (friends of the administration) is coming.
The area is very clean and well maintained. A lot of greenery, beautiful flower beds, there are all sorts of figurines of marine life, pirates, robbers, they are antediluvian and peeling. The playground is normal, but also in a Soviet way, it could be updated. On the territory there is also a trampoline mini zone for children, fishing and cars and prices do not bite. The food is good, the staff is friendly and very polite. Portions are good, 2 servings with a head is enough for 2 adults and a child. They always give something tasty (cookies, jellies, yoghurts, etc. ).
The administration is a very boorish nasty woman, when we asked not to evict us from the room, she began to yell at us in a voice that was not her own in the presence of a small child, explaining this by the fact that we came and take out her brain, that she has an important delegation from Odessa coming and we must immediately release room. (My mother spoke to her quite politely and calmly, without raising her voice). Then she said you can all go, I can’t help you anymore, don’t waste my time or yours!
The beach is clean and well-groomed, you can rent a sunbed not even very expensive, but the beach itself goes in stripes, sand-shell rock-sand, but the shell rock is such that you can safely injure your feet, it’s difficult to walk without slippers, just like when leaving the sea. I didn't find any lifeguards during the entire stay. Along the coast there are many cozy cafes and restaurants where you can hide from the heat. If you go a little further, there are slides, pools and trampolines for children, as well as all kinds of water attractions. It has its pros and cons, judge for yourself.
Prices. I will tell you very expensive! 250 UAH per person per day room + 280 UAH you can take 3 meals a day. If you do not take paid meals, please note that you will not be able to cook anywhere! If you count for 14 days for 2 adults, then for the same money you can have a much cooler vacation in Bulgaria!
So in no case will I recommend Gilea's boarding house to anyone!!!! ! But of course, it's up to you to decide.
