Back in 1974, an independent experimental studio, the Theater of Two A, began its work, under the direction of Alexander and Antonina Belsky. It was called the theater of new forms - philosophical direction and plastic metaphor. And we can safely say that the Academy of Movement Theater of Musical and Plastic Arts is seventeen years old, and the Belsky Theater is 37!
Over all these years, its leaders have received many awards from the most prestigious festivals and competitions. The theater was a participant of 11 international and 4 world festivals. He presented his art, in particular, at the 12th World Festival of Youth and Students in Moscow (1985) and the international festival "Caravan of the World" in Leningrad (1989). Newspapers not only in Ukraine, but also in France, Denmark, Germany, and Latvia wrote about the unique art of the theater.
Today it is a municipal theatre. And the city takes care of its offspring. The restoration of the former house of culture, and now its own theater building, is nearing completion. But rehearsals and performances were not interrupted for a moment. And now a pantomime of movement is being played out on the stage. Just the case when silence is more precious than gold.
And just a few hundred meters away, a completely different life. The road leads to the dam of the Kresovskoye reservoir. Own sea of Krivoy Rog. It was created by people on the ancient river Saksagan. Which in translation from Turkic means forty. You can see a lot of these birds flying over quiet waters.
A steep path leads to a ravine overgrown with trees and shrubs. From here you can clearly see the vent in the dam from where the water flows. Interestingly, in the section of the Saksagan mine - Chernogorka, the Saksagan River flows in an underground collector. During the construction of quarries, the riverbed was artificially changed in several places. And now another turn is being considered.
Meanwhile, a well-trodden path leads to a footbridge across the river. And from the other side, the ascent immediately begins. And already from the top of the hill a breathtaking picture opens up. Down there, among the stone slopes, there is a blue lake. The former small quarry has turned into one of the most beloved recreation areas of the city residents. Pure water, sun and green grass. What more could you want.
And very close to public transport stops. Some twenty minutes of leisurely walking and again the city. Amazing transformation!
