We rested in Kolomyia in January, stopped in Pysanka. There were good impressions about the hotel. Pros: very well heated, heated floor in the bathroom, change of towels every day. Cons: everything that is written about the hotel on the Internet about entertainment:
Excursions, hiking in the mountains.
Ski equipment rental, incl. children, instructor services.
Transfers to the ski lifts in Kosovo, Sheshory, Bukovel" - not true. The girl at the reception could hardly tell how to get to Bukovel at all.
In general, about Kolomyia: the town is pleasant, but far enough from the mountains, it’s not very happy to shake every day for 2 hours (to Bukovel), 1 hour (to Yaremche), there is nothing to do in the evening, we barely found a more or less decent cafe bar "Shtolnya" - interesting interior, low prices, delicious food.
If you still decide to go to Kolomyia, I advise you to stay at the Pysanka Hotel.

in May 2008 was on tour tour operator "Saga" Kiev "Treasures of the Carpathians". I liked everything very much. Accommodation was in the hotel "Pysanka" Kolomyia. The hotel is good, new, real 3 ***.
