We rested in Burevestnik with two small children in June 2012.
We went to rest on the Sea of Azov solely because of the children. I will say right away that I do not understand people who, without having children, still go to rest on the Sea of Azov. There is nothing for a normal adult to do there for more than two days.
I will try to describe everything in detail:
1) Territory: large and quite well-groomed. There are benches and garden swings everywhere. There are a couple of pavilions, a fountain, a large playground (part of the Sovdepovskaya, and part of the modern), a sports ground (bars, horizontal bars, rings, wall bars, a small football field). There is a market across the road from the base, which is very good, since you don’t have to walk for half an hour to buy something.

2) Beach: sandy. Huge and very clean! 40 meters wide, long if the size of the recreation center is a kilometer, but in general to the horizon) In the mornings, the beach is cleaned and even the sand is leveled. There are a lot of places on the beach! You can position yourself so that no one bothers you.
3) Sea: I don’t know as usual, but during our vacation the sea was muddy (after half a meter you can’t see anything), it stank of rotten fish and didn’t have to swim at all. The entrance to the sea for an adult is normal, but for children after a couple of meters it is already up to the neck. Kids will definitely like Gengorka on the Arabat Spit, where you can flop in the shallow sea. But an adult will have to go to the depth for several minutes) By the way, the sea is much cleaner there.
4) Meals: according to the "buffet" system, but at a clearly defined time. if you come later, you run the risk of being hungry - everything is scattered very quickly, and new food is practically not brought. The food is average, you can’t say that it’s canteen, but you can’t call it a restaurant either. But even our capricious and spoiled children managed to be fed) It's a little annoying to have to stand in line for food. There are people who, pushing everyone, collect everything and more into several plates at once. But this is a matter of education. In general, about food advice: come on time)
5) Room: we, as far as I understood, had one of the best rooms. In a building on the beach, on the third floor. The room has two rooms, a shower room with a toilet and a small hall. The rooms are small. One has a double bed, the other has a sofa bed, wardrobe, refrigerator, TV. Good repair. There is a balcony. But in the evening it is better not to go out on it - midges and mosquitoes fly in. By the way, there are a lot of them, but there are no grids on the windows. The room was not cleaned. For this number we paid 900 UAH. per day including meals. Based on 300 for an adult and 150 for a child. There are rooms much simpler - without repair and without a bathroom.
6) Entertainment for children: every evening a variety of contests, songs, dances. During the day, they can be given for several hours for classes (drawing, crafts, etc. ) The girls who do this work very hard. Well done!

7) Entertainment for adults: "disco" in an open area on the seashore, where a couple of labukhs perform all the most lame songs of Russian-language pop and chanson. Very loud. In the evening, these sounds will not work anywhere. Moreover, the "disco" begins early in the evening before the end of children's competitions and simply drowns them out with its music, and ends at about one in the morning. You can hear music well in almost all rooms. For me personally, this HUGE MINUS crossed out all the advantages of this base and ruined the rest.
I do not deny that there are many people who might like it, but I am not one of them)
Short summary: If you are going to go to Peresyp, then you should take a closer look at this recreation center (if the prices do not bother you). But for children, I still recommend the Arabat Arrow. And if there are no children yet or are already adults, I think, apart from the Sea of Azov, you will find a million great places where you can relax much better with a similar budget.
Have a good holiday everyone!
