We chose this hotel because we wanted to visit Kamenetz-Podolsk, and the budget of the trip was small, we started looking for a suitable hotel on the discount coupon site, we really liked the photos of the hotel and it also suited us for the money, we phoned and found out if there was a free triple room on the date of interest, a friendly girl answered the phone, confirmed that there was and booked for the date that we needed.
The cost of the coupon included accommodation and breakfast with dinner, and lunch can be ordered, we were initially completely satisfied with the description. We arrived in the evening, we were cordially greeted, shown to the second floor and shown to room number 3, they said that it was one of the best, and indeed the room turned out to be wonderful, large, spacious, very comfortable, designed in the Ukrainian style, orthopedic mattresses, mattress topper, everything is clean and tidy. There was a balcony and the windows overlooked an old stone tower, everything is very beautiful, cozy and mega cool everywhere.
Then we found out about the food, we were given a list of dishes, breakfast consisted of three options and dinner consisted of three options (this is what was included in the coupon price), I can immediately say that for a tourist who plans to have a hearty breakfast, then from the proposed list only dumplings + tea came up, we decided to order them in the morning, and for dinner after a fruitful walk we decided to order pots of potatoes, meat and mushrooms + salad and tea.

On the first evening when we arrived, everything was great, we were pleased with the room in anticipation of dinner, although we were waiting for dinner a little expensive, but we were rewarded with a hearty dinner, we were served pots of potatoes and meat with mushrooms + fresh cabbage salad and herbs + tea, portions were big and delicious. But starting from the second day, the cook spoiled our mood with her slowness, we got up early, since we arrived only for 3 days, we wanted to leave the hotel early to see more sights, and for the entire period of our stay we had time to get around everything, we decided to have breakfast early , since from the proposed list of breakfasts the densest consisted of dumplings, we chose it.
We ordered our first breakfast at this hotel at 8:00, the chef told us that everything would be ready in 10-15 minutes, in the end, nothing was brought to us after 10 or 15 minutes. We went to the cook and asked when our food would be, to which the cook told us that he would put water on and in 15 minutes we would have dumplings, we are waiting again, there are no dumplings for 20 minutes, we wait, we wait, then they reminded us again, and in As a result, they brought us dumplings as early as 9:10 (they say they wanted to have breakfast early). Yes, with such a slow cook, you can be late for an excursion, but you can be late anywhere, after all, we didn’t come to sit out waiting for breakfast, but to have time to travel around the city and see more sights, but here it is: wait, wait, wait for breakfast? for which you have already paid!!!
For lunch, we ordered a pork kebab from the owner of the hotel, and we ordered a mushroom soup from the chef. Trust me, the kebab was insanely delicious, and since the owner himself prepared it, the kebab was cooked and served on time. But the mushroom soup prepared by the chef was terrible!! ! Firstly, when we arrived, we saw how the locals were selling fresh forest mushrooms, of course we imagined how delicious mushroom soup should be, but what was our disappointment when we tried this soup... Secondly, in a plate a maximum of 1 scoop of this soup was poured, which is strange in itself, since even in ordinary canteens they pour at least 1.5-2 scoops of soup, and then they poured 1 scoop into a plate. Well, okay, we didn’t argue because we were very hungry and wanted to eat quickly, but as soon as we tried this mushroom soup, the first thing we thought was that the soup must have been spoiled because it was sour! Really sour, but then we realized that it was the mushrooms themselves, the color and taste of the mushrooms were very similar to those marinated in vinegar, and that is why there was such a strange sour taste. The soup was unrealistically tasteless, I have never eaten such nasty things in my life, and even more so for money, but since we were very, very hungry, we were forced to sit down because we understood that if we refuse this soup, then they will not cook another soup for us, and we could stay hungry.
On the table, as before, the crumbs from dinner and the bay leaf that had been taken out from the dinner disgusting mushroom soup were still not removed. Then we asked the cook to cook our dinner at 21:00 (the cook worked from 8 to 22), we asked a few hours in advance so that she would definitely have time to cook, as a result, after several reminders to the cook, we were brought food closer to 21:35. They put it on a still dirty table with bread crumbs and bay soup from a lunch box, but that was not all, moreover, 2 pots were full, sprinkled with herbs, and the third pot was only half full, and from above it was clear that someone I picked up the top of the contents of the pot, since there was no top layer of potatoes with meat, on the bottom layer of potatoes there were remains of small torn off fibers of meat and traces that there was still a potato with meat on top, which it was obvious that someone had picked it up, and even the greens of which were sprinkled initially remained only in the far corners of the pot, and in the middle there was no greenery at all.

This is how it is necessary to sprinkle with greens so that there are not enough potatoes, meat, and greens in the middle, and there is greenery in the far corner, in a word, someone obviously got the top layer in one pot with our food for which we previously paid (included in the cost of the coupon), they didn’t bring us bread, they didn’t bring us tea, they brought sauerkraut and not as much fresh as yesterday, we were indignant, went from the pot and to the cook with a claim what it was, why someone rummaged through one pot, where bread and tea for which we paid (included in the price of the coupon), to which the cook denied that no one climbed in the pot, we clearly showed her that one pot was full and the other was not, the cook took this pot with displeasure and for some reason knocked on the toilet door and told someone to get out toilet, it was very strange for us, then she came up and said that everything seems to us about the pot and said - so what should I cook or redo now again - we said of course yes and that we would wait, after a while they brought us whether the pot but in our opinion not very full and without greenery.
In the morning we decided to tell the cook to cook dumplings for us by 9:00, and without wasting time, we were not wasting time while the cook was there to cook unfortunate dumplings for us, we walked from 8:00 to 8:50, then returned to the hotel and told the cook that we had come and she can already serve dumplings, she said that she will serve them in 10 minutes, we are waiting - waiting - waiting but there are no dumplings, we went to deal with the cook, she said that we should wait what is being prepared, well, okay, although it’s strange since we warned in advance that cooked by 9:00, we are waiting - we are waiting but there are no dumplings, we again went to remind, again the cook says that the dumplings are not ready yet (although there were few guests in the hotel and it was not clear to us why the cook did not prepare dumplings for us.
Then another 12 minutes pass and then the cook comes and asks if we will have dumplings with cabbage, we were so hungry that we already agreed, then she says wait again, then again we went to remind ourselves, the cook says that we need to wait because the dumplings are cooked , we were indignant at the fact that it took so long and why we ordered dumplings with potatoes and they would give us cabbage and that my daughter didn’t want dumplings with cabbage, to which the cook said - I just threw the dumplings into the water and only then I read on the packaging what it was dumplings not with potatoes, but with cabbage - we were shocked, it turns out that the cook cannot cook ordinary store-bought dumplings in water that she didn’t even sculpt, dumplings that are boiled for a maximum of 12 minutes, the cook cannot cook for more than an hour !!!
To which the cook said - well, you agreed to dumplings with cabbage, we said that the daughter does not want with cabbage, but wants with potatoes, and at least let her cook dumplings with potatoes for her daughter, after a while they brought us dumplings, we with cabbage, and daughters with potatoes (both dumplings were tasteless).

We were supposed to leave the room at 12:00 and therefore we ordered potatoes with a chop for an additional fee to be cooked by 12:00, it was 12:00 but the cook did not bring us dinner, we went to find out what was the matter and we were told that the cook suddenly felt bad and she did not cook food for us, but I want to note that the owners of the hotel were not at a loss and cordially said that now the owners themselves will cook food for us, they quickly cooked it and we were able to eat, I also want to rightly note that while we ate we were not evicted from the room, although it was already clearly after 12:00, only after we ate we calmly packed our things, said goodbye to the owners and hit the road.
