Khmilnik.
Khmelnik.
I’ll clarify right away that I, like everyone else, came to Khmilnik not as a tourist attraction, but as a sanatorium (to get medical treatment) https://www.turpravda.ua/ua/hmelnik/Radon-h41440-r309347.html .
In principle, a pretty town, with an abundance of water in all forms (rivers, canals, lakes, ponds) and bridges of various sizes. I recommend rafting along the river in order to appreciate this splendor of the Podill river nature hmelnik/blog-308447.html .
The monuments and the central road (well, very wide) are also noteworthy.
Although Khmilnik is a rather ancient city, no old buildings or at least a small historical center have been preserved - there are fragments (mostly unremarkable) from the end of the 19th century, but mostly buildings of the Soviet period.
The city has a good infrastructure - shops, cafes, restaurants, a nightclub. I didn’t see the theater)))).
Modest sights of Khmilnyk.
Count Xido's Castle Palace
A rather interesting, albeit very neglected, building with a peculiar history. A kind of "two in one": on the one hand - a landowner's estate, on the other - a castle.
In its current form, with trees growing on the roof - downright romantic decadence)))).
Trinity Church in Khmilnyk
Decorates the square in front of the Radon sanatorium. Well maintained. Every half hour delights the ears of citizens and vacationers with excellent music. I could hear perfectly in the sanatorium room - only pleasant impressions!
