The fifth day of our Tour took place in Krasnokutsk, Kharkiv region. We took a walk in the Slobozhanshchyna National Park. There are beaver huts! About 30 beaver families live near the park. Unfortunately, the state does not allocate enough money to maintain the park. There are many excursions for children by bus, the entrance costs a symbolic 5 UAH.
There are representatives of animals from the Red Book in the park. From time to time poachers are noticed in the park, which is very sad. In general, the beavers were impressed, they are brilliant. In their huts there are rooms, for the first year of life the little beaver lives in one room, then packs his things and moves to the next)).
They are such great architects that in their houses they make natural air conditioners and take very good care of their safety.
They also told about the oldest arboretum in Ukraine, founded by Karazin's brother, who founded Kharkiv University in 1805.
The arboretum has a small island of love where you can take romantic photos. There are interesting plants of American burdock, which reach up to 2 meters in length. There is a church under the ground in the arboretum, but unfortunately the entrance to it is prohibited, as it is in a state of emergency. Entrance to the arboretum on weekdays is free, and on weekends 10 UAH.
In Krasnokutsk there is a church that combines 3 religions, built in 1913.
Impressed by Koenig's castle, a festival of the year was organized on its territory, the money from which was supposed to go to its restoration, but nothing was restored.
This is how the 5th day of our trip went. The next point is the village of Opishnya - the potter's capital of Ukraine.
