We've been on holiday for two years now. We and the kids love it too. People who come here for the fifteenth year in a row say that a radiological commission from Moscow came a few years ago and radiation measurements show a level ten times (! ) Lower than Kiev. Rest here is great. Forests, rivers, lakes.

We have been resting with friends at this base for five years now. An ideal place for a 3-4 day outing. We always take houses with amenities, summer ones do not impress us. Although outdoor recreation, but "your" toilet and shower is a good thing))). For 350 UAH / day, I think that everything is at the highest level.

We have been resting with friends at this base for five years now. An ideal place for a 3-4 day outing. We always take houses with amenities, summer ones do not impress us. Although outdoor recreation, but "your" toilet and shower is a good thing))). For 350 UAH / day, I think that everything is at the highest level. Very well-groomed territory, the houses are not luxurious, but everything you need is there, fabulous nature, a river, birds sing, silence is paradise)))). Cool figurines throughout the base on the "radiation" theme.
Of course, you will not see marble floors and 42' plasma in the room, but I don't need it in a Fruzinovka, and if someone needs impeccable service and comfort, then near Kiev there are a lot of places where you can relax in similar conditions, but not 350 UAH . per house, and 350 per person.
Summing up, I want to once again thank the director and staff of the base, Sergei Stepanovich, for the excellent attitude and great work, the results of which are visible everywhere and delight the eyes of vacationers.
P. S. Do not be fooled by talk about the radiation background on the territory !! ! It's all nonsense!! ! Firstly, it was measured - not higher than Kyiv 10-14 Mkr / hour; secondly, Pilipishin would not have built himself a castle in the neighborhood, and the President would not have occupied all the nearby lands in the reserve for hunting and fishing.

As they say, quality exceeds price. For that kind of money near Kiev you will not find anything like it. Of course, it’s a long way to go, real 100 km from Kyiv through the villages (where you can’t accelerate much), but for this you get a quiet, relaxing holiday at a reasonable price. I was struck by the cleanliness in the houses, fresh cosmetic repairs, clean carpet, clean wallpaper.

Of course, it’s a long way to go, real 100 km from Kyiv through the villages (where you can’t accelerate much), but for this you get a quiet, relaxing holiday at a reasonable price. I was struck by the cleanliness in the houses, fresh cosmetic repairs, clean carpet, clean wallpaper. Cozy gazebos near the houses with barbecues, firewood make it possible to have a great evening near the fire in the fresh air (if you stock up on mosquito repellents). I liked the manager Stepanovich - a super man. The disadvantage is that there is nowhere to swim, the Teterev river is shallow and dirty, although locals and some visitors swim.

Ecopolis is a typical recreation center of some Soviet research institute, located 200 meters from the Teterev River, in the middle of a chic Ukrainian forest. To Kyiv - 100 kilometers. Distinguishes "Ecopolis" from hundreds of other similar bases the attitude of its owner to his business. There are summer and winter brick houses with amenities (toilet and shower with hot water) and heating.

Ecopolis is a typical recreation center of some Soviet research institute, located 200 meters from the Teterev River, in the middle of a chic Ukrainian forest. To Kyiv - 100 kilometers. Distinguishes "Ecopolis" from hundreds of other similar bases the attitude of its owner to his business. There are summer and winter brick houses with amenities (toilet and shower with hot water) and heating. Instead of spring beds, where you can only sleep on your back, there are real orthopedic ones. Once just wooden houses with a washbasin in the yard, now they are equipped with running water (a washbasin in the house), a refrigerator, a gas stove, an electric kettle, dishes (the dishes were either new or very clean). Near the houses there is a table with a canopy and a barbecue. Firewood is prepared, they can be taken for free.
In addition to 10-15 houses, there is also a small museum on the territory, which, unfortunately, we did not manage to get into. On the territory there is a very decent sauna with a shower (with hot water) and a swimming pool. Walking around the recreation center, here and there you can find bizarre sculptures made mainly from improvised material, apparently by employees of the same research institute.
In our version, food was not provided, although there is a kind of dining room under a canopy at the base. I think that for a large company you can organize a feast or occasional meals.
The black grouse in this place is quite small, so the water is slightly cloudy. There is no sandy entry into the river, the beach is a meadow. The banks of the river are very high in places. But this does not in the least detract from the picturesqueness of the sharp bend of the river, the surrounding steep, coastal meadows and forests. Neighbors often went fishing.
In general, the base leaves a very pleasant impression. If you are looking for a quiet inexpensive holiday - this is a very suitable place.
