We met our 22nd day in the new city of Pereyaslav-Khmelnytsky.
The day began with a visit to the famous mound, which is more than 4.000 years old, "Three Brothers" - because there are 3 mounds. Taras Shevchenko worked in this city, so here is a commemorative plaque.
Local activists want to draw attention to the unique monument and save it from destruction as the area is ruined.
Not far from the village of Stovpyahy, on both sides of the Boryspil-Dnipropetrovsk highway, the most famous mound group "Three Brothers" is preserved, which dates back to the Bronze Age - III-II millennium BC. that is.
It was these mounds that Taras Shevchenko mentioned in his "Archaeological Notes" and the story "The Twins", which is why local activists set up a plaque here.
Also here are the remains of a strong oak, which is over several hundred years old! It is planned to set up benches so that everyone can sit and feel what Shevchenko felt when he worked here.
Then we visited another interesting tree, namely the birch trident.
Trident birch "Ukraine". Located in the village of Demyanka, its shape resembles the State Symbol of Ukraine - Trident. As a tourist attraction, the tree has been open to visitors only since the spring of this year, and so far there have been growing shrubs and various debris. But local activists decided to take the initiative and put things in order here.
Then our Embroidered Way led us to the memorial to Taras "Shaking".
The great peasant-Cossack uprising of 1630, the center of which was Pereyaslav (Borisov field) led by Taras Fedorovich (Tryasyl) ended in victory over the Polish nobility.
Some believe that this event marked the beginning of the national liberation movement in Ukraine, it can rightly be said that this battle is the first victory of Ukrainians over Poles, that it went down in history as a triumph of Cossack tactics and strategy. Not forgetting this event and Taras Shevchenko in his work.
Then we went shopping at an art factory.
Being in an interesting building from 1901, which was a local synagogue for some time.
A special difference of the factory is that here and now in one of the shops they work on authentic old looms, preserving the traditions and culture of Ukraine.
You can watch the work of masters for free. It is also possible to buy embroidered products at manufacturer's prices without leaving the factory.
What I did was buy an embroidered shirt for my father, who will soon have a birthday.
After the walk we went to settle near our hotel "Pectoral", in addition to the fact that the hotel is in the center, I also liked that the bed is close to the ground - I love it.
Next we were waiting for the almost destroyed Church of the Resurrection.
Built in 1855 at the expense of the real state adviser Mykhailo Kanevsky.
To date, only three churches of this unique architecture have survived in Europe (according to Tatiana Palatnaya).
Our relentless coordinator decided to show us the whole area so we went to the ancient Russian fort-settlement "Frying Pan" XI century. in the village of Vinenci.
Historians consider the Skovoroda settlement to be the remains of feudal settlements that belonged to medieval landowners. It was a kind of center of feudal possessions.
What I didn't like at once was the incorrect translation, wherever there should be Russian, it is written in Russian, there is a big difference.
So we fixed there a bit what we could.
You think of natural tunnels only in the Rivne region, and from Dzuska. Here is a natural tunnel of desire.
This is one of the main natural wonders of Kyiv region, which due to its attractive appearance is undoubtedly a tourist attraction of Pereyaslav region. Its length reaches over 980 m and everyone who visits it, must make a magic wish.
Some tourists say that dreams really come true, and therefore they are ready to come here more than once.
After the tunnel we went to the observation deck in the village. Onions. From this unique place you can see no less unique church of the old flooded village of Tsybli, the Cossack cross, the Trakhtemir peninsula, the place where Taras Shevchenko wrote his main works, and much more.
Kite surfing enthusiasts also gather here, we met some of them, this action looks very cool.
Also here are the ancient Serpent Shafts - a legendary monument of world importance, which has the right to stand on the same list with such legends as Mount Ararat or the city of Troy. Snake shafts in the area of the village. Mala Karatul is considered by local archaeologists to be of the Early Iron Age (mid-1st millennium BC).
Finally, we sailed on a sailing yacht to the flooded village of Vyunishchi.
Where T. Shevchenko drew and wrote some of his main works, such as: "Both dead and alive…", "Cold ravine", "Psalms of David", "Little Mary", "Little Mariana", "Days pass , nights pass ", " Three summers ".
The cost of an hour on a yacht is not so much, from 300 UAH to 800 UAH per hour for the whole yacht, I really liked it, so the next day I decided to ride a little more.
