This day we spent completely in Poltava. And you know, I've never regretted it! Poltava is a beautiful city, although not very big, the locals for some reason are modest and say that it is completely provincial. It didn't seem that way to me, especially after we visited a number of sights in the city.

We started the day with a press conference in the press center Poltava Regional State Administration. With the participation of local media, the Department of Tourism and Resorts, NGOs and all interested.

Then we went to the field of the legendary Battle of Poltava, where we visited the museum, named in her honor. I really liked the museum, especially impressed by the chart. It's as if you're immersed in those hours, in those bloody fields, and it's scary.

The museum has a number of original exhibits, every year thousands of Swedes come here for a tour and to visit the tomb of their ancestors.

After the museum, we went to an equally intriguing place - a pagan temple! Our ancestors used to perform mysterious rites here, and it was a place of power. And you know, some mysticism still hovers in the air.

And from there an incredible landscape opens up. We were so happy that we wanted to sit down and sing songs, which we did there.

Gaining strength from our ancestors, we went to the Museum of Local Lore. Even before the entrance, I was struck by the facade of the building. Very, very original, inside the painting in the Ukrainian style, which is based on a flower that grows from a pot, symbolizing the flowering of life.

Plan at least 2-3 hours for the museum, because it is very large. About 30.000 exhibits, 3 floors and 40 rooms!

Or better focus on one thing. The building is so beautiful that weddings used to be held here.

We had lunch at the Ukrainian restaurant "Krynytsia", and here was probably the most delicious borsch in the last hour. In a word - we recommend!

Gaining strength, we drove to conquer Poltava waves on a wakeboard at the station "Wake and Fun".

Honestly, I've never tried this before, I was afraid and worried. But as soon as it fell into the hands of the instructor, everyone understood.

To make it clear to you, I will dwell on this. In order to ride a wakeboard on the water, you first need to practice on land (! ) To get up and hold the so-called halyard (a stick tied to a rope).

Then you dive into the water and learn to swim with a wakeboard - it's not difficult.

And then you are already drawn by the system ...and yuhhuuu you are a conqueror of the waves!

The hardest thing is to get on the board and catch the balance, everything else is just high and crazy adrenaline. 5 minutes of such pleasure costs UAH 50. I highly recommend you try it after a few hours I could not stop smiling.

Oh, after we went to "Deaf" - yes, this is a hotel-restaurant complex, where there is a racetrack, and on the grass wandering rabbits, roe deer, swans! Such a mini contact zoo))

Dinner was waiting for us in Georgian style in the restaurant "Djigit", I love Georgian cuisine, so for me it was a real feast of the stomach, khachapuri in Adjara was yummy, yummy, which is delicious! ))

After a good meal we went to spend the night and prepare for a trip to Velyki Sorochyntsi.
