I chose it, because the base is not in the city, but at the same time it’s not long and convenient to get from the railway station, so that there are amenities in the room, the beach is not far away, and there was no noise of night resort life.
You can get there by minibus number 15.17/15 (or others with a fraction of 15), they depart from the bus station (a little walk from the railway station to the left), they go well, it costs 8 UAH to go to the spit. About 30 minutes to the base.
The base is located in a good location, close to shops, canteens, cafes, 10 minutes to a private ATM, market. Near attractions, but the area is quiet. The sea is close, the beach is common, but there is enough space for everyone, sand and small shell rock, except for rare cigarette butts, forgotten corn heads and small bags - the beach is clean. Stayed 2 adults and a child. Double room with a balcony. They took an extra bed (like a folding bed), the beds were back to back, so I had to lie down from the foot end, but this is tolerable. The inconvenience was created by a very soft mattress on a folding bed, the springs pressed our grandfather in all places ((

Among the shortcomings, I also want to note: it shows 11 channels on TV, but only 2-3 of them can be watched, and if there is wind, rain, there is no visibility at all. The window air conditioner cools the room well, but it buzzes terribly, so it was rarely turned on. Our room is located in such a way that it was sunny from 12 pm to 8 pm, it was extremely stuffy for several days at lunchtime (4 days out of 10 of our vacation was rain, cold wind), and it was simply impossible to relax with such a system. There is Wifi in the room, but the signal constantly disappears, it is especially annoying when the child tries to watch a cartoon.
There was another problem - several times in the evening, the darkness of insects flocked to the light, sticking around the windows and the balcony door outside and inside the room. I turned to the administrator about the mosquito net (there were in other rooms), they promised, but so we left, and everything was made to order.
From the positive: the view from the balcony is beautiful - both the sea and the bay in the distance. The room is generally clean, with the necessary set of furniture. On the 5th day they do cleaning and change the bed, but you can ask for cleaning and unscheduled.
A small alley with young pines leads from the gate to the building, otherwise the territory is not large and "characterized". The playground is very small. There is no dining room, but there is a choice of where to eat, though these places are not close (10-15 minutes at a slow pace). The set of dishes is almost the same everywhere, but the price can differ significantly, the service and quality are good everywhere.
Separately about the sea: warm, clean, even when it was stormy, all the days that we were, the sea always stormed in the morning (more or less), in the evening the excitement became less or calm, but often a very invigorating wind blew from the sea (especially on in the morning) created discomfort.
Wishes: it would be much more convenient if the shower head could be hung, and not held in hands; clean the cobwebs on the balcony.
I can recommend the boarding house, and the owner should still work on improving comfort.
