Traveled with my wife and 6 year old child. Good hotel for a 3. The food is normal, always fresh and tasty pineapple, watermelon, passion fruit, dates, mango, papaya. Seafood - only fish, like tuna, and crabs in pasta. There is no TV or fridge in the room. There is a conder, without it it's not real, it's always on. The heat is just. . . A lot of humidity, always a sauna feeling. Stock up on a good sunscreen, dishish ones do not help, burn instantly, it is better to walk in long sleeves and even swim in them. A room for 3 people will do, a bed, a shower, hot water, a bidet, what else do you need. . .
Why we went: for the beach and the ocean. The beach is very dirty, there are a lot of algae everywhere, they are simply grown here. There are a lot of them at low tide. When the tide is in, they swim in the water and lie at the bottom, I don’t really swim, I wanted clean water and a clean bottom, there’s nothing like that here. The low tides are large twice a day, the time of low tide and high tide is always different. You can't swim 24/7. The water in the ocean is comfortable, even very comfortable, in the evening, just hot, not even pleasantly hot. In the pool, the water is always comfortable, you can not climb out. Vacationers are 100 percent from Russia. There are not very many people.
In general, if you are going for a beach holiday, I do not recommend choosing beaches in the Kendwa or Nungwi area, there seems to be no algae, the water is clear and turquoise like in the Maldives and there are no such large low tides. Very long flight, from Kyiv 10 hours. There is no food on the plane. Stock up. At the airport, everything is very long and slow, the procedure is about an hour or more. There are no air conditioners, it's hot and stuffy. It took over an hour to get from the airport to the hotel by bus. Upon arrival at the hotel immediately take the tax on accommodation. $1 per person per day. There were three of us, for seven days it turned out to be 21 dollars, if you don’t pay, they won’t settle, although the Compass tour operator said before the flight that you don’t need to pay anything extra on the spot.

In short, if the beach and the sea, then not here, or Kendwa or Nungwi, but it's more expensive there, or another resort... There are no complaints about the hotel!
