We spent the rest of our days in that miraculous hotel from February 5.2023. 10 days and we are just at the capture. The hotel is small, roosted by a tropical garden, rich greenery and shade, a wonderful pool, arched, with varying depths up to 2m. Small deer live on the territory, like taking a leaf from their hands and mavpa. We lived in a bungalow with a view of the garden No. 104, a miracle veranda, everything worked at the room, cleaning the skin day is good, they changed the bed 2 times and towels every other day, they put 2 splashes of water. The gel and shampoo were delivered as needed. Vvazhu for 3 * tse duzhe good. Snіdanki savory, we already liked: tea, natural kava, donuts, yoghurts, a plate of 4 types of fruit (pineapple, banana, kavun, papaya), mango fresh, sprats of eggs, including sausages, banana pancakes, various muesli , toast with butter and 4 types of jams and everything is even more delicious. The service staff at the restaurant is also welcome, but they don’t know the terminal and it’s not handy, it’s possible to pay only for cooking.
The Internet is normal, but who needs fast and hard work, you need to buy a card. Everything is for sale, including an ATM and money changers, shops, souvenirs, fruits, alcohol. We dined in our restaurant and in Baraki, it was delicious. In our terrace and under our feet the ocean splashes))) The very nameless ocean itself, yogo needed only a little bachiti, we suffocated) We are more pleased and more generously we will create beauty, where our dreams were dreamed. Gotel is definitely a raju, it deserves 3 *.
I owe it to all the staff for the miracle work!! !

After reading a huge number of different reviews, I was ready for the worst, but everything was perfect for a tired couple that had been puffed up for a year.
I will write here only what I did not find in other reviews.
We flew on a direct flight Kyiv-Zanzibar with a stop in Hurghada for 1 hour for refueling and crew change. Only 10 hours. It is difficult to transfer, because this is not a plane, but a minibus: 3 seats on the sides of a narrow aisle and the distance between the seats barely allows you to stretch your legs. But you immediately forget all this when you land among the palm trees in the coveted Africa.
What documents are needed for the trip:
1.72 hours before arrival, you need to pass a PCR test for coronovirus (no one in Tanzania needs a certificate of vaccination against the corona, they don’t bother with it at all, they supposedly don’t have a corona))))
2. You need to register on the Tanzania health website within 24 hours and print the registration form with a QR code (it is required at the entrance to the airport upon arrival)
Ministry of Health - Traveler Health Portal (moh. go. tz)
3. Print and fill in advance the form for obtaining a visa on arrival (there is on the website of the annex tour)
4. Print and complete the arrival and departure forms in advance. For departure, we were never asked for this questionnaire anywhere, but let it be better (the forms were sent to me by the Sverus tour agency, where I bought tickets
All this will allow you to quickly pass through passport control and not crowd in the arrivals area.
Money was changed at the airport, as everyone everywhere advised. There really is the highest rate. But the difference is not significant. It is possible to change normally in the village. We changed each for $300 for 10 days - that's a lot. It would be possible to invest in 170 if you don’t buy any cotton clothes in local shops)))
There are two types of rooms in this hotel: in buildings overlooking the ocean, such as junior suites and bungalows in a chic garden with a swimming pool and dwarf animals. We opted for an ocean view room with breakfast included. The room is amazing, with air conditioning, hot water, mosquitoes and a chic balcony where you could spend time like on the beach, only on the sofa) I thought that there would be problems with the settlement, as in Turkey, when I bought a more expensive room, and they put you in the basement under the pool, but no, everything was clear.
To feel comfortable, take a fumigator with you (although it seemed that you didn’t need it, let one work to calm your nerves), you can light an anti-mosquito candle on a table on the balcony in the evenings and it’s romantic and practical. Whether these precautions helped, or whether there were simply no mosquitoes, is now unknown. I saw one mosquito in the room, but it did not bite anyone. There have been no outbreaks of malaria in Zanzibar for a long time, but if you suddenly have a high temperature and fever, then you need to call an insurance doctor, if there is no insurance, buy a malaria test in a pharmacy and, if the result is positive, buy malaria pills. For 3 days they put on their feet. Even if a few months after your arrival, the temperature rises and all the doctors start treating you for coronovirus, do not forget that you were in Africa and still get tested for malaria.
Sockets are all for English triple plugs, if there are no adapters, then look on YouTube how easy it is to handle with a pencil or pen.
The room was cleaned daily: garbage from the baskets, washing the floors with tea tree oil, and changing the bed, which was also a complete surprise in a 3 star hotel in Zanzibra,
left 2 small bottles of water, tea, coffee, sugar, cream powder. There was a kettle and cups in the room. The hotel has a chic garden, a nice clean pool and friendly staff.
On many sites, this hotel is sold as a place without the Internet, so consider the occasionally appearing Wi-Fi as a pleasant bonus, and not an unfortunate misunderstanding)))
We bought a local Zantel telecom card in the village in an incomprehensible booth for 15.000 shillings ($7.5), but the seller did not seem to know that he was obliged to take a copy of our passport and fingerprints from us, and could not register the card on the network, so he gave my. We, in Swahili and with our weak English, did not immediately understand that it would not hurt to put money into the account, and the seller was somehow very nervous, holding a fresh iPhone for the first time in his life, and from an excess of feelings did not offer to replenish. The next day we met on the beach with a local who calls himself James Bond and sells excursions. He took us to stone town, provided an almost Russian-speaking guide and helped to top up the bill. So the rest of the holiday we had a decent local internet.
We took all this as an adventure))) But if you cannot live without the Internet, then take care of either an international Internet card or roaming in advance (it seems that Vodafone does not have it there, but on the 7th day I received a message with tariffs of 1 minute 150 UAH and 1 MB 400 UAH)))), Kievstar, they say, has good tariffs for Tanzania, but I don’t know what).
The ocean is wonderful, the colors are amazing. You can not take corals to this place (the village of Nungwi), but in the early days, until you see at low tide where the bottom is, it is better to be careful and not walk barefoot - in some places there are rocky islets with sea urchins. The ebb tides were only noticeable to us at the new moon. Then the water decreased less and less and the tides were almost invisible. At low tides, everyone starts walking / wandering along the beach, both vacationers and locals. Local sticky, but if you ignore them, they don’t grab by the hand. And in general, apparently there is some kind of "strict rule" for the locals, on the territory of the hotels from the side of the beach they do not have a foot. On the land side, everything is behind high fences and guarded. They ask you not to wander outside the hotel in the dark.
Food. Breakfasts are the same every day: coffee, tea, milk, some kind of dry cereal, always hot soup (chicken soup every other day), some pies a la charlotte, only instead of apples pineapples, butter and compote - it's all to itself take. In addition, a waiter comes up and you order an omelet with different fillings from the menu, they can just make scrambled eggs. All this is served with 2 pieces of toast and a plate of fruit (there are few of them)))). The hotel has a restaurant with excellent food. 10-15 dollars per person and you fill yourself up with seafood, there are pastas and pizzas, salads). There are many different restaurants around, people go and try what they like. It is hot during the day, you can buy mangoes, pineapples, bananas in the village and eat fruits.
Safari. Definitely a must visit. It costs expensive. They say you can buy from the locals for $370 and you will be taken there with the same people who bought $450 from the guide. We decided not to be nervous (the locals are always late), and on the way from the airport to the hotel we immediately bought a Safari tour from the guide. The price includes a hotel-airport-hotel transfer + flight directly to the national park on the mainland + a jeep trip for 6 people through the savannah from 8 am to 6 pm + a modest lunch + a normal supply of water in the car, but by the evening it boiled)) ). Although the guide said that there will be an awning in the jeep, do not forget that the Sun tends to move and you are in Africa. You need to prepare: long sleeves + trousers + protection SPF50 and more + panama hats + dark glasses. I even needed a pareo when the wind picked up with sand and I wrapped it like a scarf, although I am not one of the glamorous sissies. When you drive along narrow paths between thorny bushes with huge thorns that whip your arms and legs, you will be glad that you are dressed properly. I am writing all this here because it was a pity for people in T-shirts and shorts. On the way you meet all the animals that live in Africa))) I will not describe the delight. You will experience it yourself. You experience completely different feelings from a running herd of giraffes than from a motionless sad animal in a zoo.
In general, despite the severity of the trip (departure from the hotel at 4 in the morning and return somewhere around 21), you need to save up money and visit Simba with Pumba on the mainland in Tanzania - a worthwhile event.
All good and pleasant holidays! Zanzibar is now in my heart forever

This is my first time writing a review even though we travel a lot. This is because when I was looking for information myself, it was not enough for me (I will try to describe my emotion and my personal opinion about the rest.

1) flydubai - never again and will be away from them for a long time...

2) Hotel - when we booked hotels in September, the desires were completely different, but unfortunately, all these hotels were already on the foot!! ! The beach was essential Nungwi, Kendwa already as a fallback. When we had already broken through all sorts of options, we stumbled upon Langi, there was no time to think much - we had already booked what was already ...Garden view category room. It takes about 1.5 hours to get to the hotel (I don’t know how the reviews wrote 30-40 minutes, even without traffic jams in the early morning we got to 1.20). We arrived at the beginning of the tenth, handed over gifts (chocolate - New Year's sweets), the room was still being prepared and we went to look for something to eat (note from 10.00 to 12-12.
30 you will not be fed anywhere - their kitchen is not working at this time).

The room was ready by 12...I was preparing for the worst, but it exceeded all our expectations, I am pt. I was worried not to be on the first floor, because I was not a fan of all the living creatures (rabbits, guinea fowl, antelopes and LIZARDS) that lived there))) And we got the second floor with a huge terrace in palm trees, where we could sit out in the cool the peak of the heat with a glass of chilled wine. The room is quite large (112), a huge four-poster bed, all kinds of couches, a cabinet for a suitcase, a dressing table with a mirror, a mini fridge - perfectly working, a sofa with a table on the terrace ...At the reception they gave out an adapter and a hairdryer on request ...

In general, the guys at the reception and in the restaurant are very good. great, always willing to help.
Then we went and looked at the hotels that were a priority for us, and we are glad that some did not work out) Breakfasts are basic on the menu - various omelettes and eggs, pancakes, fruits - there were no restrictions ...

3) Excursions - we booked a 2-day safari with Alice in advance, $ 800 per person - she had the most adequate price tag for the parks that we really wanted to get to ...Terengire is an elephant paradise))) Ngorongoro - it’s impossible to convey, not only for animals, but also for beauty - it's magical!! ! Photos are like pictures ...We saw the five ...Also, through Alice, we went to stone town, the disappearing island and the island of turtles ...I also liked everything - especially the picnic on the disappearing island - a lot of seafood)! Johnson is a super guide! ! ))

4) Nutrition - who are these people who advise Barakka? After reading the reviews on the second evening, we went there (the first was NG and we celebrated it in the hotel restaurant - we liked everything).
We waited for our dishes for 1 hour 40 minutes - and we were one of the first to come for dinner, while we were waiting - next to us there were at least 2 tables dissatisfied with what they brought - they swore ...Yes, and we didn’t really like it - and hunger didn't save))) Mama Mia - good pizza, but not always))) Coco boar - huge burgers. But we found the unsightly Blue Ocean for ourselves - in front of Coco Cabana. Everything is very tasty and very reasonably priced...Seafood mix is my favorite (squid, octopus and fish, you can choose different fish each time) - very tasty. Seafood soup - it's not on the menu - but it's there))) just great. We made friends with the waitress Zulfa (who will say hello from Alla and Andrey))) and we were ALWAYS waiting for a table in the evening on the first line without reservation, the portions were even larger and personal Wi-Fi)))

5) Souvenirs were bought in the village - cheaper than in stone town, you just need to bargain. Fruit how to get out of the hotel towards the square (not towards the beach).
You need to cross the square with a good exchange rate - it's better there than at the airport, don't change near the hotel - it's quite low there. Take dollars ONLY of a new sample - they do not take old ones (! ), or well, at a VERY small rate - the smaller the bill - the lower the rate ...The alcohol store behind Soso Сabana is the most expensive, go to the right from it and there will be two opposite each other with a lower price tag - haggle ...

Tried to convey as much information as possible...

Africa conquered me and I wish you the same)) Hakuna Matata! !
