The flight is generally not difficult - there is refueling in Luxor (Egypt). Sky up planes are quite comfortable, there is enough space for a passenger. Despite the negative reviews about Zanzibar Airport, everything went well and quickly enough.
The hotel, given that it is 3 ***, is worth the money. Clean, reasonably well maintained. The rooms are not big, but that's not a problem. Air conditioning, fan, hair dryer - in the room.
The room on the ocean view!
Food - I like very, very picky eaters, I liked everything. There was not as much food as in Egypt, but everything was fresh, everything you needed and unrealistically delicious ! ! They fed 4 times a day.
The food in Zanzibar is generally very tasty. We ate on several excursions and everything was delicious.
We guessed right with Kendva. The largest beaches, low tides are not noticeable at all. There are places to walk. It was very close to Nungwi. We walked along the beach there on foot.
We took 2 excursions in local. For $25 and $30. . you can safely go. Like for fun. You can swim in the ocean and see dolphins for $25 only there.
Results: the nature is beautiful, the ocean is even better! ! The water is just unreal color.
Food is delicious, fruits are very cheap.
Of the minuses, if you can call them that)
Join up of course as always. We were brought, dropped off and the driver showed with his finger where the hotel was.
We arrive there - and this is not our hotel. We caught up with him, we say that it’s not ours - he brought him to another hotel and left. But again, this is not our hotel. As a result, it turned out that our hotel is from the Palumba Beach hotel chain. And there are more than 5 of them in Kendva. All are scattered throughout the village and they themselves do not know where to be.
But the hotel staff still found where we should live, quickly gave us juice to drink, fed and settled.
Again + the hotel.
And of course, for the same reason, they forgot to take us to the airport)) we arrived in Palumbu, they took someone away, but they forgot us.
Thanks to our guide, I solved the issue in 15 minutes.
and the two of us were taken by taxi to the airport.
Hotel - minus we had one. The windows of our hotel also overlooked the restaurant of the neighboring hotel. In the evenings they constantly played music until 12 at night. It was noisy. In recent days, our air conditioner also broke down, so they could not open the doors to the balcony.
That's all from the minuses)
I can say one thing, who wants exotic and not picky, you can safely advise this hotel and Zanzibar itself.
For those who love Turkey and its service, there is nothing to do there. We heard a lot of those who said that Turkey is cooler.
