Hello to all tourists.

To begin with, I am from Sevastopol and therefore the most convenient way to visit Turkey was by boat, passing through the Black Sea to end up in Istanbul, the oldest Turkish city and former capital. I think that my review will be useful for those who go to Turkish resorts, for those who go to Istanbul for shopping or for new tourists who go on vacation for the first time. By the way, this was my first trip abroad.

Motor ship. It was called "Sevastopol-1". By itself, I rate the ship at 3. It is not new, not large (about 120 people in my opinion). On the upper deck there are sun loungers and tables. Of course there is no pool. They feed 3 times a day, very tasty and homemade. However, while staying in Istanbul, they only serve breakfast and dinner.

Cabins on the ship are quite modest. There are regular cabins for 2-4 people and suites, which are of course more comfortable. By the way, I advise you to take them. However, there are only a few of them on the ship, and therefore you need to order about a month in advance, and even more in summer. The good news is that all cabins have air conditioning. Attention! The ship is not a cruise ship and therefore there is no entertainment other than a bar.

A huge plus was to stop in the middle of the Black Sea for swimming. The weather was beautiful, the ship was stopped, the ladder was lowered and we enjoyed swimming in the open sea with dolphins. The depth was 2 kilometers, the water temperature was about 27 degrees.

We walked 25 hours to Istanbul. An unforgettable sight - around the dolphins and a huge expanse of water.

Istanbul. We arrived here early in the morning. The entrance to the Bosphorus Strait, in my opinion, is at 5 o'clock in the morning and this is not to be missed, the beauty is incredible. We walked along the strait under the famous bridges connecting Europe and Asia, beauty.

The motor ship all 3 days in Istanbul stood at the Karakoy Cruise Port, almost in the center of the city.

For those who are going on a tour, I advise you to visit the City Sightseeing Tour. It will show you the most famous places in Istanbul. You can walk around the city for days, bazaars, shops lure you to buy something. However, be careful, keep valuables in front of you, watch your bags. Lots of brews.

For those who go shopping, I advise you to visit Taksim Square and the streets adjacent to it (there are a lot of boutiques and shops - inexpensive and high quality), as well as the Egyptian Bazaar, Lolli Street, Eminonu. Bargain everywhere and drop the price by 2-3 times. If the price still does not suit you, leave, it usually worked and the sellers gave us our price. In general, everything in Turkey is quite cheap, and especially clothes, but be careful when buying expensive things, buy them only in large stores. If we compare prices with Ukraine, then they are about 2-3 times cheaper, but there is a lot of waste.

Istanbul has expensive travel and food. A tram ticket costs about 1 euro, but the trams there are euros. A small meal will cost approximately $10 per person.

Be sure to try Turkish sweets, they are not cheap, but very tasty.

You can talk for a very long time, but in order not to bore you, I’ll just leave the ICQ number 406408797 - write, I will definitely answer your questions in more detail.
