This hotel meets two main criteria that, in my opinion, should be considered when choosing a hotel when traveling to Istanbul for the first time:
It is located in the historic Sultanahmet area (which means walking distance to all major attractions)
Breakfasts are served in a restaurant located on the roof of the hotel, overlooking the Bosphorus (we had breakfasts for an hour and a half, my husband and I just “hung out” sitting by the window and contemplating the surroundings).
Other pluses of the hotel include:
- Helpful and friendly English-speaking staff. There is someone at the reception around the clock, so all issues were resolved promptly.
- Near the hotel is full of restaurants and shops. There is even a 24-hour mini market.
- price : )
Of the minuses:
- the soundproofing in the hotel is really "no". But we got so tired during the day that even my husband, who has a very light sleep, “turned off” and did not react to the noise behind the wall and in the corridor

- rather modest breakfasts. But breakfast was enough for us to hold out until lunch.
- renovations in the hotel were done a long time ago, but everything looks more or less decent
Bottom line: economy class hotel. Perfect for those who want to get to know the city and the hotel will only spend the night. I advise all budget tourists "no complaints. "
P. S. The photo of the room was taken on the last night, a couple of hours before departure. So sorry for the mess. Forgot to take a picture before : )
