Celebrated New Year in Istanbul. I went with a bus tour, everything was organized. I was in Istanbul for the first time, therefore, to begin with, I set myself the goal of visiting the main attractions. Goal achieved - great! We stayed at the Grand Emir Hotel. The hotel is new, located near the Beyazit tram stop. Walk for 15 minutes along the tram track, and you are near Hagia Sophia. Small, cozy, everything works, the room has WiFi, a hairdryer, a refrigerator. . . The rooms are small, I would say small, but. . . there is a gorgeous view of the Bosphorus from the window! The breakfast was good, there were hot dishes, fruits, vegetables, soup, pastries, eggs. For four days I didn’t get tired, I ate. Perhaps, if you go for a longer time, it will become boring. The staff is polite, responsive. I recommend the hotel.
