Now a separate conversation about nutrition: the food is the same every day, and to such an extent spicy and peppery that you become like a fire-breathing dragon. My 7-year-old child ate only tomatoes and cucumbers for the first 3 days, although he is not picky about food. Why the first 3 days, you ask, by about this time, more than half of the Russian vacationers moved out and the hotel was filled with Czechs, Slovaks and Turks. They began to feed better, they gave portioned meat, chicken, fish (before that there was only vegetable stew with rare small pieces). True, the fish was fried in batter, along with fins, bones and uncleaned entrails.
I pay special attention to baked buns (not cakes and oriental sweets, namely BUNS, personally my child folded a piece of sausage on a bun and there was a nice little WORM under it! ) When this was shown to the administrator, he said "good" and ran away.
The staff at the hotel (waiters, receptionists, maids) DO NOT speak Russian, English or German. at the reception only 1 person spoke German (this is a more common foreign language) and understood the room number the first time, the rest had to write on paper to get the key, and then they repeated the number in Turkish and until you pronounce the key 3 times gave away.
The road to the sea is another story. Instead of the promised 500 m, there will be more than a kilometer. I’ll explain why: you can’t go directly to the sea, there is a five-star hotel with a wonderful underground passage on the way, but they DO NOT let you go there! You have to make a detour, dear. about which it is casually written, a high-speed coastal highway with three lanes in one direction and 3 in the other, there were accidents every day (if you don’t believe it, look at the map in Google Alanya, Kestel village) You have to focus on the service. The service is an old rusty rambler with a barely breathing gearbox (there are also photos of the hotel on Google, it looks like a minibus), so there are so many people in this service that you can sit on each other’s heads or stack in stacks, the children were sitting on the floor. The minibus runs once an hour according to the schedule from 13 to 15 does not run at all. There are not enough sunbeds on the beach for everyone, the sand burns your feet very hot, you just can’t lie on a towel.
What we liked: the pools with water slides are just super, the hotel grounds are well-groomed - there is a wonderful gardener, like a kind wizard from an oriental fairy tale, he fed us apricots and pears from the garden, showed us how pomegranates grow. A wonderful bartender in the snack bar gives a wonderful drink - ayran (who does not know salty kefir) perfectly quenches thirst in the heat. The animation is normal, there are many competitions, games, competitions, but mostly for adults, for children only a disco.
Loved the hammam and massage.
You can not tip the maids, because of this the service DOES NOT CHANGE (as they didn’t do anything, they don’t do anything! )
I described my impressions of the hotel, decide for yourself, but we will not go there again.
Let's go on a burning ticket. On the Internet, the hotel was positioned as a troika, besides the second line, in short, I was determined not to flatter myself.
But everything went great.
True, on the plane, hot food was given, then we found out that now they will not give it if you fly for less than four hours.
Turkey met us with a 40-degree heat, it was about 25 at night, so if this climate is not for you, choose spring or autumn. But the water was also about 25 in the pool and in the sea.
A nice girl from ALBA tour (host) accompanied us from Antalya to Alanya, along the way telling what, where, how much.
An hour and a half later there was a stop for 30 minutes, where you could change money for the first time (the rate is the same as everywhere else in Turkey), ask the price for souvenirs. You can bargain for 30-40 percent.
We arrived at the hotel three hours later. (Net travel time is two hours).
Irina from ALBA, at our request, handed over to the reception so that we were settled with windows not on the disco, because. We were with children. The request was fulfilled. True, the windows overlooked the road and cars and motorcycles raced there from time to time, but you can live.
No one speaks Russian at the reception. Therefore, we immediately wrote a list of questions, and the next day, when a meeting was held with a representative of the host, he explained everything to us in detail, and with the manager gave a detailed tour of the hotel.
The layout of the hotel and its territory is small, but reasonable and cozy. There are two pools, one deep and a little cooler, the other with slides and a paddling pool. All the animation also takes place there, but it turned out that we worried in vain, by 12 at night everything is silent, so you could safely take a room with windows overlooking the pool. By the way, there are mosquitoes there, it is uncomfortable to sleep with air conditioning, it makes noise and blows : ), so take a raptor. The rooms have a refrigerator and TV, hair dryer. Shower without a hose, but you can adapt, only it is inconvenient to wash children.
Cleaning and change of bed - every other day.
But, every day from 15 to 17 Muslim in the snack bar makes awesome pizza, which you can’t refuse even after an exclusive dinner. : ). It is especially good in combination with koumiss, which is also available for bottling.
And yet, almost every half hour, from the hotel there is a bus (free) to the sea. Drive five minutes. Every evening the hotel provides a bus to Alanya, where you can walk and go shopping, as well as walk through the ruins with goods and souvenirs, sit in cafes. I liked Alanya more than Kemer.
We took an excursion to Antalya, it costs 5 dollars. They took us to expensive shops. (leather, gold, souvenirs). Things are really high quality, you can bargain, the price is a little high, but this is a payment for exclusive and excellent service. If you like something, but there is not enough money, you can arrange delivery to Moscow.
They will also take you to a beautiful waterfall that flows into the sea and there will be a small sightseeing tour of the city and lunch. At the lunch restaurant there is a shop with cheap souvenirs.
On the first or second day of arrival, you must definitely go to Alanya, to the Turkish bath, for $ 35 you will be given peeling, foam massage and general massage, drink tea and there is also the opportunity to swim unlimitedly in a huge bath, from which you can dive into the cold “hole ”, use the sauna, swimming pool.
The hotel itself also has similar bath services, but the prices are several times more expensive and the room itself, of course, is not impressive. And the gym is in a state of disrepair.
The hotel has a female photographer. Which takes pictures of everyone and everywhere, then hangs pictures on the stand, if you like something, buy it. Separately, you can arrange a trip to the sea for filming against the backdrop of sunset, and other photo services.
The hotel has a children's mini-club at certain hours, for a fee, you can arrange babysitting even at night.
By the way, it seemed to me that nightlife is possible there in full, if anyone is interested : )).
There are many Russians and Germans in the hotel, there are few others : ). The staff is helpful and friendly. The food is the same, but delicious. Local wine and beer not very good. The rest is for money. In general, a stay for 4 with a big plus. : )
