Clients at such a price per room have already forgotten how such TVs of the 1991-93 model of the Turkish company VEKO look like. Channels are all Turkish + BBC English. For more than a day, the TV signal disappeared, allegedly not through the fault of the hotel. Breakfast is sad and monotonous. The only plus is still a gorgeous view of St. Sophia and the Blue Mosque right from the windows of the restaurant. The location is according to the scheme, everything is nearby. The concept doesn't exist. In a word, the entire historical center + the use of the tram. Taxi drivers come across with ignorance of the city - they shut themselves up. Banabaki in one word. Hotel staff 50/50 in terms of friendliness. On the day of departure, they presented an invoice for the use of the mini bar, which was not even touched. Naturally, I did not pay anything for the unfortunate gin and tonic drunk by whom and when. Towels, bathrobes, etc. . were long worn and polished by hotel washing. Initially, I planned Lady Diana, it is 25 meters away, but there were no rooms for 4 people at that time. It certainly looks much more respectable than Arcadia. In general, I will never go back there again, although they advertise this number as the best on all their advertising booklets.

Good hotel, stayed there for the second time - did not regret it. Excellent location - the center, near the tram stop, Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque and the Hippodrome square - 3 min walk : ) Diagonally from the hotel door is the entrance to the hotel "Lady Diana" : ) Under the hotel windows is the local court building, so the place is very quiet and safe : ) The staff is very friendly, English speaking.

The staff is very friendly, English speaking. Daily housekeeping.
Since last year, it is forbidden to smoke in the hotel rooms, you have to go up to the terrace of the restaurant or go down to the hall. The wallpaper was re-pasted in the hotel, the carpet was renewed, however, the years of active smoking in the room make themselves felt: a persistent smell of tobacco hovers in the corridors and rooms of the hotel.
This time the breakfasts were somehow boring and meager, maybe because of the small number of guests?
In general, I was satisfied with the stay.

I want to say a few words about the Arcadia Hotel in Istanbul, where we celebrated the New Old Year : ) We went together for four days : ) Wonderful hotel, clean, warm, beautiful, located in the center, literally a five-minute walk from Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque . Awesome view from the restaurant - you can see almost the entire city at a glance.

A beautiful view also opens from the windows of the hotel (if your room is located at least 5th floor ; )) A safe with a digital code is located in the room, if this does not suit you, you can use the safes at the reception.
The hotel staff does not speak Russian (I don’t even stutter about Ukrainian; ). However, apparently they were preparing for our arrival, because at the hotel, together with the receptionist, we were met by a nice Russian-speaking girl - a gym worker, who gave us a sightseeing tour of the hotel and told about nearby cafes and sights.
Rooms are cleaned every day, beds are made every day and towels are changed... However, slippers and bathrobes are missing as a class : (
Slightly annoyed by breakfast neighbors - a group of enthusiastic American students, excited by the opportunity to drink strong drinks without any restrictions ; ) But it's true... Notes in the margins, maybe they didn't like us too much either : P
Speaking of breakfast: a buffet, a fairly wide range of croissants and sausages to muesli with honey. However, do not expect to see "something new" on the menu the next morning, there will be muesli and sausages again : ) I advise you, if you don't feel sorry for the money for good food, order some fish dish at the hotel restaurant, the same banal " levreka" on the grate, with a glass of white wine. : ) Umm. . . Overeating! We ordered dinner at the restaurant, on the first day of arrival - we didn’t regret it, although it was a little expensive, but we didn’t have a chance to try such deliciously cooked fish anywhere else in the city, and the view from the windows of other restaurants was not so gorgeous : ) In general, if you like quiet rest and hiking to historical and cultural monuments, you won't find a better hotel : )
I put "five", even despite the lack of slippers and bathrobes : )
