We rested at the Vonresort Golden Coast from August 12 to August 21.2018, a family of two adults and a child of 5.5 years old. Third time in Turkey. It took a long time to choose which hotel to go to. And they weren't wrong!
We arrived at the hotel at 11:00 and checked in at 13:00. Building 3 with an elevator. Room 3207 is good. It had a double bed, a cot and a playpen (we immediately asked him to remove it). The room was cleaned very often, the bed was changed every 3 days. The mini bar is free (it always had two juices, two sparkling waters and two without gases), replenished it every day. The room had air conditioning, but we didn't use it.
Immediately upon arrival, we were put on bracelets and we could use all the services of the hotel.
The next day upon arrival there was a meeting with the guides from Anex Tour - Tatiana and Balambek. They told us all the useful information about the hotel and offered excursions. Unfortunately the prices are very high.
The hotel is very good. Green around. Conquered the beach from the first minutes ....clean sand.
Every morning the beach is cleaned, a special car drives and cleans.
Despite the fact that almost all the time there were waves, I really enjoyed swimming in the sea. There were always enough sun loungers, despite the season and the large number of vacationers. (At the reception we were told that together with Elit - 1500 people were in August). The air temperature was 33-38 degrees.
Of the minuses: on the beach they smoke everywhere.
Beach towels could be changed: either in the morning you rent from 09:00 - in the evening you pick up until 19:00, or in the evening before 19:00 you build - in the morning you pick up from 09:00.
The hotel has a water park, it is located on the opposite side of the hotel. There are slides for children and adults. Despite the fact that all three hotels can use the water park (Vonresort Golden Coast, Vonresort Golden Beach and Vonresort Golden Elit - this is 5000 people according to the guide Tatyana), there were no very long queues for the slides. There are a lot of people in the pools. But it was always possible to find a place.
Holidaymakers are mainly Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, Germany, Poland, Moldova, Czech Republic.
The food was always delicious, there was a lot to choose from: lamb, chicken, lamb, fish, pancakes, pizza, rice, vermicelli, potatoes, stewed vegetables, soups, broccoli, various salads, vegetables, french fries, fried donuts...There were always fruits : watermelon, melon, bananas, plums, peaches, nectarine, grapes, oranges, apples, pears. Well, sweets are generally beauty and deliciousness: pastries, cakes. The waiters poured themselves beer, wine and water. In the evening, the main restaurant gave free ice cream.
Nobody ever left hungry. The waiters work like bees, everything is quickly cleared from the tables, new tablecloths are covered. They try to be friendly at all times. Only waitress girls speak Russian.
If we had any issues during our stay, they were resolved very quickly. There are Russian speaking staff.
We wanted to go on excursions, but the prices are very high, everything is too expensive (((
We went twice to the market, it is 200 meters from the hotel on the right side.
The bazaar is large, they sell the same type of goods and everything is also very expensive.
On the last day we checked out at 12:00. And the departure from the hotel was at 23:30 (the departure was postponed 4 hours later). We were worried how we would cope without a number. But everything went well. We had lunch, went to the beach, it was possible to wash ourselves in the Spa in the shower, handed over towels there, had dinner and rested in the lobby bar.
In the evenings at 21:30 every day there were some performances, we went to them only once for the performance of artists from Africa. Liked.
On the territory of the hotel there is a special place for smoking hookahs, there are two hammocks nearby, and houses for cats that live on the territory of this hotel.
The hotel has animators who entertained guests all the time. Personally, I constantly saw competitions in the pool, they played volleyball and threw balls on the beach, they went in for sports in the sea. There is a mini club for kids, but we didn't go to it.
