The biggest concern was the weather. They got used to rest, so that there was heat, a warm sea. We went to Turkey for the first time in May. During the day it was hot and sunny, in the shade of 25 degrees. Evenings are cold. And most importantly: both the sea and the pools are also cold (20 degrees). Although to someone just right. Due to the cold water, May Turkey does not suit me.

The main disappointment was the check-in at the hotel. We arrived at 8 o'clock in the evening. We were two families: me with a child of 5 years old and another family of 3 people (husband and wife and a child of 7 years old). The manager said the hotel was full. He invited us all to stay together for 2 nights in a suite with a sea view on the second floor of the Santa Barbara building with two bedrooms and balconies, but with one bathroom. At first, I categorically refused and decided to see what kind of separate rooms he would offer us. Brought to the basement, seemingly even without windows, a large room with a bunch of beds like a pioneer camp. Of course, no one liked this option. So we had to stay for 2 nights together. Then, however, as promised, settled well. A family of three stayed in the suite. And we moved to the next room also with a sea view. The room itself is comfortable, I liked it. The air conditioner was turned on for heating, because. we were cold at night.
The territory is not as big as it seemed when I got acquainted with the information on the hotel website. Of course, it would be possible to develop wastelands by the sea, fill this territory with bars, swimming pools and just different vegetation. But then the hotel will no longer be 4, but 5 stars.
On the territory of one swimming pool with a children's section. And a separate small pool with 2 slides. Indoor pool bar on the ground floor. I did not like. Much better if the bar is located separately. There is a bar by the sea, where, in addition to drinks, at certain hours they serve some kind of fast food.
About food.
I have almost no complaints about nutrition. Breakfast is standard, I liked the soft salty cheese at breakfast. I ate it every day and didn't get bored. As well as olives. I eat them all the time.
Lunches and dinners are the same. Someone wrote in previous reviews that there was not enough meat. Something is always fried on the grill: meat, fish, turkey. The fish was not always tasty. Trout - delicious, some kind of mackerel - fu. They also cooked tuna, however, it was given out in small portions. Also chicken, meat pieces as part of any vegetable sauces. I really like the way the rice is cooked. Just rice without any additives. I'm not very sweet.
Ice cream is served for dinner. I didn’t try it myself, but the child ate it on both cheeks. It would be much better if ice cream was served during the day in bars (albeit at certain hours), and not after dinner. When the majority after a hearty dinner is no longer up to ice cream. But here, of course, the hotel does not do what is convenient for us, but what is more profitable for them.
Fruits included apples, oranges, watermelon, loquat and grapefruits for breakfast.
The beach is wide, spacious and sandy. The entrance to the sea is a small pebble. Beach towels - everywhere it is written that they are issued on bail. They didn’t take any deposit, they just give cards (as many as you ask) and exchange them for towels, as usual.
On the territory of pine trees, orange trees with fruits, small palm trees, flowers. Everything is worthy.
There is a good playground and a mini club. With children during the day, the animators really do (play, draw, entertain). My toddler enjoyed spending time there.
I can safely recommend this hotel for families with children. Of course, there are hotels with much better conditions. But for a four, it's pretty good.
