When we entered the reception, the first thing that came to mind was "what a horror!!! ". Heat (no air conditioning), gloomy light, miserable interior.
When we entered the room - shock number two ! ! Tiny room, gloomy light, old furniture.... shock.
Everything was very gloomy as we arrived at 7pm, tired and hungry. We went straight for dinner.
Food. . . you won't go hungry. There was chicken meat, fish, once fried steaks, liver, various side dishes, mayonnaise salads (we did not try), hard cheese, cheese, a lot of fresh vegetables, fruits, Turkish sweets. From drinks - water, yupi, coffee, tea . . beer, vodka, wine. They didn’t drink alcohol because they took their own, and they didn’t want to take risks)).
After dinner we went to the sea - it was very warm and gentle.

After the sea, I decided to go change the room, but there was no one at the reception. But then, as it turned out, our room was just super, the windows overlooked the garden. Given that the other rooms were overlooking the pool, where there was music until the night, plus it was a sunny side. In other rooms, the exit was on the road, where the garbage truck arrived early in the morning.
Every day my shock lessened. I began to look for pluses. The first plus was the working air conditioning in the room, the second was a good mattress.
Beach....own, no worse than 5 stars. Sun loungers, umbrellas, towels - free of charge. The sea is warm and clean. Another plus is to the sea 3 minutes walk from the hotel. The sunset is shallow, good for small children.
If you walk along the embankment, you will find yourself in ancient Side. I highly recommend walking there.
If you go up from the hotel - there is not a big square with a playground (free of charge), to the right of the square there is a supermarket (we went there for sweets, since we didn’t really like Turkish ones).
They offer excursions on the beach, do not take it - it's terrible. We went by ship. We were very disappointed. They take them out to sea for the whole day, and they sell drinks and ice cream 100 times more expensive (they take the water they brought with them before landing), some people were without money (you can see they didn’t expect this either), signed up for a cross, and then upon arrival at the hotel they took out money . Written down, because for the whole day under the sun you really want to drink.
I would come to Side again - a very beautiful town with a gorgeous promenade.
But never to this hotel!
If the sea is important to you and apartments are not important, you can safely go to Sedef.
