Were in Paloma Oceana from 1 to 9 January 2014. Family with a child - 12 years old. The weather this year is super - +17 degrees during the day - in the sun it warmed up to 20. By the evening - cold - jackets with a sweater and jeans. It only rained for one day, but it was warm - just went to local small shops in Kumkoy and went to Manavgat. During the day you could lie on the beach and read - there was no wind. They lived in the main building. Side rooms overlooking the road. The sea is not visible, but the sunny side - in the morning, especially in the morning - everything is flooded with sun. The rooms are very good - large, everything works, the room has an electric kettle and a mini set - coffee, tea, sugar.

For a winter holiday is not a bad option. It can be boring for active tourists - but this is a great alternative to a holiday home near Moscow. Sea, air, beach, sun. Walks along the beach - to Side on foot 2 hours. By minibus 7 minutes to the bus station, there on foot 10 minutes to the ancient ruins, cafes, museum.

To Manavgat (bazaar) - 15 minutes by minibus.

We have been leaving for Kumkoy for the second year for the New Year - it is here that it is good in winter - the beach is wide, there are no trees - it warms up quickly. Always warm, sunny and light. In the morning - if the sun - on the beach - to catch fish or read on a lounger, in the afternoon at 4 o'clock - in the hammam, indoor pool. Billiards after dinner. All good quality, nice. There is a bar in the lobby around the clock, in the lobby in the cafeteria there is always coffee, latte, Turkish tea and Turkish delight, pastries, oriental sweets. Outdoor terrace overlooking the pool. We take a lot of fun board games - we play in the lobby and on the terrace. So 8 days of vacation by the sea in winter in Turkey is what you need!

The food is quite monotonous - as it seemed to us. Everything, of course, is good fresh - simply, if compared with other five stars, then without frills. The cook is not very, as we concluded.

In winter, what is inside the hotel is important - a cozy lobby, a spa center.
Cons - not critical: the bar on the beach did not work - they just put water on the bar, but I wanted hot tea and coffee.

Hamam - there was no quiet calm music and it was not decorated - the ceiling was not painted - a bit like just a washing bath - strange for five stars. Also, the bar in the SPA center did not work - they just put out water.

Saunas - two - dry and wet steam.

Indoor pool - the child went every day with pleasure. Good.

Billiards is. There is a mini club and a playroom for children. There were very few children - 6-8 people - but the club worked

For children, an outdoor mini-golf course - everything worked.

The hotel area is small, without gardens and special greenery. Next to the main building is a swimming pool - the water was not drained for the winter - very beautiful. For a summer holiday, I would not choose this option - the entrance to the sea is sandy and gentle - the water will warm up a lot in summer. The garden is small. The beach is sandy and planted with dwarf palm trees.
There is little greenery on the territory - lemon trees, flowers - these are on the alleys next to the cottages. We like hotels like Turkuaz, Blue Waters, Ali Bey - in Sorgun - on the other side of Side: pine trees, a lot of greenery, meadows, flower beds - it's great to go there for a vacation in the summer.

In any case, Paloma is suitable for winter holidays.
