We went to Turkey for the first time. we were traveling with two small children (1.5 and 2.5 years old). We studied all the hotels for 1.5 months. The main selection criteria were: good food, service, quiet family vacation. As a result, on the recommendation of the Dimona-aviator travel agency (Zaporozhye), we settled on the Asteria Sorgun Resort 5 * hotel. The room is big enough, the bathroom too. Everything is in excellent condition (rooms, plumbing, electrical appliances, etc. ). Our room had one double bed and one bunk bed (for children), a TV with three Russian channels, air conditioning, plastic furniture on the balcony. Everything is fine, only the view of the park and the tennis courts (opposite side from the sea) did not suit us very much, because we still wanted to look out of the window at what we came for - the sea.

The next morning after breakfast, I went to the reception and asked the Russian-speaking hotel worker to change the room. T. to.

rooms with sea views are more expensive (and we had a ticket indicating that the view of the park), I agreed to pay extra. For 20 minutes and 100 dollars they found me a nice room with a sea view. The room turned out to be exactly the same as the previous one, but the view from the balcony was simply gorgeous - palm alleys, beautiful lawns and flower bushes, and most importantly - the emerald sea. The territory of the hotel is very green, well-groomed and beautiful. Many palm trees, olive trees, huge pine trees (the hotel is located on the territory of a protected relic pine forest), flower bushes, large green lawns.

Now more in order. In the hotel, I counted 5 elevators, 4 restaurants (main, Italian, Turkish and fish), during the day there are 3 bars (on the pier, near the beach and near the pool), in the evening - 2 bars (both by the pool). The beach is clean, wide, sandy (the sand is very fine), the sea is awesome (probably thirty degrees) and clean. The air temperature is 35 degrees.
But there is no strong heat, because a light fresh breeze always blew (they say that literally 2-3 weeks earlier, tourists were simply exhausted from the heat). At night, it’s good - fresh (we slept with the door to the balcony open, the air conditioner was not turned on at night). When we arrived, 70% of Germans, 20% of Russians, and 10% of other nationalities were resting in the hotel. A week later, the picture changed a bit - 50% Germans, 45% Russians. The hotel management quickly got their bearings, and the composition of the animators changed somewhat - more Russian speakers appeared.

Sun loungers, mattresses and beach towels and near the pool and on the beach and on the pier - for free, and sun loungers can always be found free. The room was cleaned every day, the bed was changed every two or three days, towels were changed almost every day. Once he left a tip of $ 2, so they laid out the bed for us with a butterfly. The minibar in the room was replenished for free every day (cola, fanta, sprite, schweppes, beer-2b. , water 1.5l. ).

The food is excellent - breakfast is almost the same, at lunch half is new every day, dinner is different every day. For every dinner there were delicious and each time new dishes from the chef. Desserts and fruits - just the sea. Everything - in unlimited quantities (including juices and imported spirits). Seats in the main restaurant can always be found free. During the day at certain hours, ice cream, waffles, pastries, fruits. Alcohol, drinks, juices, beer, water - in all bars all the time. Once by prior reservation, you can go for dinner to a Turkish, fish or Italian restaurant for free. We went to Turkish - we liked it (especially delicious lamb skewers).

From 10 am and all day animation lights up (pool games, aerobics, archery, pneumatic shooting, darts, evening shows, etc. ). But since we were with children, we only participated in archery and pneumatics.
On the beach you can ride a catamaran and a canoe for free. For a fee - scooters, parachute, banana, windsurfing, scuba diving. There are three pools in the hotel - one is deep, large, the second is divided in half for children - knee-deep and chest-deep (in which there are water slides (two)). The third pool is indoor, open only in winter. There is a kids club (4-12 years old) and a small playground (slides, swings, trampoline). We once went to the club - the children drew, cut out figures from paper. There are animators and staff who speak Russian. The rest of the staff in Russian knows a few phrases. The staff is very friendly, their especially good attitude towards children stands out.

The hotel has a hammam center, shops (market, jewelry, leather). The operator organizes excursions for every taste. We went on the only possible one with the children - a fishing picnic. We caught trout on the Alanya River, which was immediately prepared for us in the form of fish soup and grilled trout.
Considering that in Turkey “first courses” (soups, borscht, etc. ) are “missing” on the menu, eating fish soup on the 7th day of your stay in Turkey was an indescribable pleasure. But in principle, I would not recommend going on this excursion, because the ratio of cost and rest received is unequal.

In general, you can talk a lot and for a long time, so I will summarize. The children were delighted, my wife and I were satisfied with everything. Rested for all 300%. The hotel is wonderful, ideal for a relaxing family holiday with children. The operator provided everything that was required of him. Thanks to the travel agency Dimona Aviatour for their patient attitude towards such "meticulous" customers and help in choosing a good hotel.

And finally, I want to add - you will not find an active “movement” in this hotel, therefore, this hotel is not suitable for young people who are going not just to relax at the sea in a calm environment, but to “hang out”.
