Hello!
I rested at the Armar Sea Side Hotel from 09/23/2011 to 10/07/2011.
If we compare the price of the tour and the quality provided, then, in principle, I can say that the money was not spent in vain.
The hotel is very well located - 5 minutes walk to the beach. It turns out that between the beach and the hotel there is only one small hotel. The beach is clean and well maintained. Umbrellas and sun loungers are provided free of charge. At the same time, it is not necessary to buy drinks on the beach. Those. the beach is actually free. The sea is clean only in the morning, flocks of small fish swim right off the shore. And then, closer to noon, garbage from yachts passing by begins to be nailed to the beach. The staff on the beach are very friendly and well mannered.

All the staff both on the beach and in the hotel do not speak Russian. The maximum that they can say is: "Hi! How are you? ". This is where the knowledge of the Russian language ends. Therefore, when going to this hotel, please note that you will have to speak English.
About the hotel itself. Based on the number I got, I can say that the hotel is in disrepair (apparently, the fact that 2 years ago small underground points were recorded in Marmaris affects). The bathroom had a crack running through the wall - you could see it on the cracked tiles. In the room itself there was a large crack across the entire ceiling. The TV was tilted to one side. The whole rest I was afraid that he would fall. During my stay, the hair dryer broke down 2 times - it sparked and burned right in my hands. It's good that there were no consequences. And 2 days before my arrival, the ceiling collapsed in the dining room - tourists on the beach told me about this.
The room itself is very small, even for one vacationer. There was an impression that being in this room is cramped.
The hotel staff is good. The room was cleaned every day, but it was superficial: the maids changed towels, bed linen, toilet paper. But the floors in the room were practically not washed, the glass shelf in the bathroom was covered with several millimeters of dust, and soap was not brought to the room when it ran out. The balcony was not cleaned at all.
Regarding nutrition: every day there was chicken, soy meat; once in 2 weeks there was fish and lamb. The range of dishes, compared to the previous 4 in which I rested (after all, at the moment the hotel positions itself as a 4-star), is very modest. But the products are fresh - so you won't die of hunger. But you will not try Turkish dishes, which really should be in a 4-star hotel. So I wouldn't give this hotel more than 3 stars.

Well, the main feature of this hotel. I strongly do not recommend this hotel to young, single travelers. During my vacation, the hotel manager (a thin, short man with glasses) tried to persuade me and other tourists who lived in this hotel to intimacy. In my case, he came into my room and climbed into hugging and kissing - I barely kicked him out. This happened on the 2nd day of my vacation. Also, he offered to change my room to a more comfortable one if I "behave properly". Then he tried to "clamp" me in the elevator. Before entering the elevator, he made sure that there were no witnesses. If there were tourists or staff, he immediately changed the trajectory and walked past the elevator. He behaved similarly with tourists from Minsk and St. Petersburg. 3 days before my departure, he nevertheless ran into a heart-to-heart talk with me on the threshold of the elevator. After that, when he realized that I would not pay him due attention, they simply stopped serving my room - as I understand it, on his instructions: they did not fix the hair dryer that had broken again and did not clean it.
This manager behaves (his office is located on the first floor, next to the dining room) brazenly and obtrusively - he is completely sure of his impunity. I wanted to talk to the owner of the hotel, but I was afraid that he did not speak English. I could not explain this situation in Turkish.
I also did not dare to call the police, because. I don't speak Turkish well. Local gendarmes would come, the manager would tell them his version (one could come up with anything). As a result, the rest would be spoiled by showdowns with local authorities.
All in all, if you are a couple and you only need a hotel to leave your luggage somewhere, Armar Sea Side is suitable.
Also, if you want to buy excursions, do not buy them at the travel agency opposite the hotel. The quality leaves much to be desired, and the price is overpriced at least 2 times.
