Upon arrival at the airport, we were not told what to expect, upon arrival at the hotel EVERYONE was told to wait at the reception, the heat was at its peak, and at the reception the only air conditioner in the hotel (not counting the rooms) and it did not work, the doors were open, the tourists were all bags, wet from the heat, they did not give water, they said to wait for dinner. And in turn they began to call the reception and check the vouchers, the first couple were settled, and a surprise awaited us and the rest. Everyone was told that there were no rooms available and that they would have to wait.


Waited an hour (we are 3 guys, a family of 3 and 2 couples).
Moreover, they take tourists away from each other and quietly tell everyone their version of why there are no rooms. We were taken last and said that the owner refuses to accommodate us. We were in shock, the reason is because 3 guys. We argued that there was a discussion with both the hotel and the tour company, that there is correspondence about what they confirmed, and in any case, you yourself confirmed our reservation at the hotel, which indicated that there were 3 guys. As a result, after 2 hours of waiting, we were told that they would settle in a neighboring building for 1 night, and tomorrow Zuhra (the girl at the reception seemed very nice, but in the end she just plays on emotions, pretends to be harmless and always what she told us, did not coincide with what the tour guide said) will talk with the owner and we will be settled in this hotel. We agreed (NEVER AGREE TO THIS, SHOUT, SCANDALT, SAY THAT CALL THE POLICE AND YOU WILL BE LOCATED IMMEDIATELY) and regretted it.
They brought us by car and other people to the hotel 5 minutes (HAN MOTEL) (5 minutes by car, that is, walking even more). It wasn't even a hotel, it was a MOTEL WITHOUT STARS. The room was literally 3 by 2 meters, 2 beds, the shower was full of fungus, there was no hair dryer, only 1 shampoo for 3 and 2 towels without flip flops. The balcony is covered in water from the air conditioner, the windowsills were literally NEVER dusted, the only plus is the wi-fi, which is much better than in Meryl itself. For food, I had to walk uphill to Meril, since in this building even water is paid. Having come to Meril for dinner, Zuhra said that now we will need to spend the night for 2 nights (we arrived for 7 nights). We were outraged and did not agree, they said that in the morning we would come with our suitcases.
In the morning we met our tour guide Omar (Anex-Tour) who said that he personally spoke with the Owner and tomorrow (day 3) we will be settled in Meril, and we will be given free towels, a safe, a hammam (not completely, but only a massage) and an excursion - IN THE RESULT IT ALL WAS A DECEPTION AND ONLY AN ATTEMPT TO CAUSE US. We agreed, after all, the free tour convinced us, we spent the night again in that terrible Motel.

In the morning, they promised to pick us up at 9 am and take us to Meryl, we waited from 9 to 12 and no one came, we asked the owner of the motel to call Meryl and find out what was going on (we didn’t want to go uphill in the heat with our suitcases) Zukhra picked up the phone and asked us to tell us that the Owner said what else he thinks, so it will be necessary to spend the night for 3 nights, we were furious and went to Meryl, no one approached us, everyone looked from the side and discussed, even the hotel tourists knew about our the situation and were surprised that they had not been settled for 3 days already (those who were waiting with us at the reception were settled for 2 days or 2 days later). We again arranged a discussion at the reception, connected the Anex tour and our guide, and as a result, at 15-00 we were settled in room 101 (the worst room).

As I mentioned above, they did not give free beach towels, saying that they were over. The safe turned out to be allegedly broken, they decided not to go to the hammam, and it was so hot, and even more so, they offered just a massage, and not a classic hammam.
Zukhra, as usual, smiled, said that she would do it, and in the end they didn’t bring anything either that day, or the next, or on the 3rd day when the cleaning in the rooms finally began (they cleaned only 1 time in our 4 days !!! ) and the cleaning lady did nothing not added to the room.

FOOD AND BAR

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are free. Breakfast is just a nightmare, cheeses, tomatoes, the cheapest soy sausage and scrambled eggs (if you get up and come before everyone else, then you will get it).

Dinner. Dishes about 25 of which at least 15 are one greens, and salads, in which only the color of cabbage changes. The rest of the dishes are lentil soup, some kind of cakes, overcooked and fried vermicelli. The meat was 1 time and then in the form of meatballs or cutlets, served with potatoes.

Dinner, the same as lunch, there was no meat for dinner.

Bar. You will not find bottled water. And you can’t wear the purchased one, you will be attacked by all the hotel staff.

Water is only either at the bar in a glass, or from a car in which you can find juices (terrible taste, concentrated to the point of impossibility) And there are only 2 of these machines for the entire hotel. One is where breakfast and dinner are, and the second is where lunch is (lunch is always served separately, in a different place) And moreover, one of the machines is always turned off. Alcohol is diluted to the point of obscenity, although we only took beer and rum cola or rum whiskey there, it was impossible to drink, so we bought it in stores and drank on the beach. The beach was always poured into plastic glasses, which are always stained and anointed. By the way, the owners DO NOT drink water from the hotel, they are given a separate piece of water and other bottles!

And the owner always crawls around looking who took what and how much he ate, you will drink a lot of alcohol, he will quietly tell the bartender to pour it less for you and dilute it more.
Even one man wanted to take 3 glasses of beer to the beach, he was refused, saying that only 1 glass (plastic) at a time is allowed. It's terrible, because you can die while walking back and forth from the beach.

Eating at the hotel is difficult, not only because it is not very tasty, but also because there are no air conditioners and fans AT ALL! The heat outside is terrible, the food is hot, and you sit outside sweating and trying to finish your meal and at least one fan!

LOCATION AND BEACH

The hotel is located at the very end of Turunc, near the cliff, green, many screaming cicadas. Here already think for yourself, plus or minus. Turunc is a very quiet village, if you want to hang out, parties, then you are not in Turunc, maximum in Marmaris. The hotel has a transfer to the street of bars in Marmaris, departure at 10, at 2-30 at night back to the hotel (I don’t know for a fee or not) We decided to sail to Marmaris by water taxi, 15-20 lira per person, depending on the season , swim 50-60 minutes, but very beautiful.

But it wasn’t there, everyone was evicted at 11 pm, the bar was closed, there was no food, it was impossible to go to the pool, and everyone was waiting at this reception.
And the cunning Zukhra simply changed the time on a piece of paper every half hour. That is, there was a check-out from the hotel at 11, then it was at 12, then at 12-30, then at 1, then at 1-30 and in the end they came for us as much as 2 o'clock. We sat at the reception with bags from 11 am to 2 am, without a working air conditioner and they didn’t even give us water, they said that it was not available at that time. Due to the fact that those who arrived at night (some were taken to that terrible motel in the middle of the night, and those who were lively and shouted settled in OUR ROOMS), we were evicted at 11 on purpose, saying that the plane was transferred earlier! (they wrote that the plane was at 6 in the morning, and it turned out to be at 7-10 in the morning! ) so that they would just have time to clean the rooms and settle people, although we could still rightfully be in the rooms until 12 noon.

TIPS FOR TOURISTS

Firstly, in case of overbooking, you must be warned in advance. Overbooking is when there are no rooms available, but the reason for this is usually a breakdown or flooding of rooms, that is, EMERGENCIES.
The fact that you will be rubbed in the hotel that there are just a lot of people is partly true, but because the HOTEL and TOUR COMPANIES cooperate in this, they initially fill the hotel with people, even if there are no places, they get huge profits from this, and you are accommodated in a hotel cheaper (WHAT THEY ARE NOT RIGHT TO DO). You have the right to be settled in a hotel of the SAME QUALITY OR BETTER! But not because we were settled in a village motel.

You can still check before departure or booking a hotel. You definitely need to go to the SITE OF THE HOTEL, NOT THE TOUR COMPANY, BUT THE HOTEL. If there are no numbers on the site, and the tour company offers them to you, you are NAE. COMFORT and very brazenly, that is, expect overbooking. Demand from them settlement, do not be afraid.
