Disgusting and dirty barn! Before that I was in Bodrum 5 *, Kemer 4 *, but I didn’t meet SUCH.
The reviews were good and we were told that the hotel is 4 * and close to the bar street, but because of the small area and remoteness from the sea, it was assigned 3 *. It's all lies! It is not known who wrote these reviews! So, briefly and to the point:
1. The hotel is shabby and dilapidated, dishes and tablecloths are dirty.
2. The rooms are small, it is not comfortable to sleep on the beds, the springs stick out.
2.1 The towels in the rooms are dirty, it was disgusting to wipe your feet, it's good that we brought with us for the face. Bed linen never changed in 7 days, although they left a tip.
3. It is impossible to wash under the shower, bad pressure and splashes fly anywhere, but not on you.
4. The food is lousy, so we ate in cafes and restaurants. We didn't drink water on the territory of the hotel, we bought bottled water.
5. To the bar street on foot 40 minutes, well, certainly not 10!!!
6. I can’t say anything bad about the staff, they are quite friendly and polite.
We only spent the night at the hotel.
In general, we do not recommend to anyone!

the first time we lived in a room in the building where the reception... the room is not big, but very cozy! huge balcony. bed linen and tents are clean. . . the room was cleaned daily and very good!
the second time we lived in a large family room, the furniture, albeit not new, but in excellent condition!
5-8 minutes walk to the sea. that didn't bother! The beach is free of course.
to bar street 20-30 minutes on foot... which is very close! Not far from the hotel is full of different cafes, shops. there is a pharmacy and currency exchange. . .
all in all I liked it!

I give a review taking into account a 3-star hotel, since many people go to 3 stars (for very little money), and they have requests for all 5 stars. I give a review taking into account a 3-star hotel, since many people go to 3 stars (for very little money), and they have requests for all 5 stars.
It was the third time in Marmaris, all the time in 3-star hotels, since in Marmaris it is important for me, first of all, the proximity to the bar street and the night party. The hotel is very well located, almost in the center, located behind the main road, next to the Begonville Hotel, across the road opposite closer to the sea is the San Maris Beach Hotel. To Ataturk on foot 20-25 minutes. We lived in a family room on the first floor. I really liked the room, it consisted of two rooms (a bedroom with a double bed and a living room with a kitchen) plus a large balcony. The furniture in the living room is not very new, but everything is in working order, the air conditioning and hair dryer also worked fine. The room is very spacious, you can safely live in five people there. Although the double rooms are said to be very small. But to be honest, since most of the rooms in the hotel are family type, the difference in price between a family room and a double room is small, so take a family room, you will not regret it. The territory of the hotel itself is small, but there is enough space for everyone, both on the sunbeds by the pool and in the dining room. There is a water slide by the pool, it is turned on twice a day (before and after lunch), and it is very fun to spend time there, especially since the bar is nearby. By the way, this is the first hotel in Marmaris where I liked to spend time by the pool, because after all, I prefer to go to the sea by the sea. As for the staff, they are quite friendly (with the exception of a couple of personalities), but in principle, for a three-ruble note, they are very decent. The food is quite varied, there are always several types of meat and side dishes, but nevertheless there is very little meat in its pure form (they give either meat cutlets or chicken with vegetables, sometimes fish). But you won't stay hungry, they impose as much as you want. In the bar there are also no restrictions on one hand, they give you how much you take away. From alcohol - white and red wine, beer, crayfish, vodka and gin. From fruits - grapes, apples, oranges.
The beach is paid, like almost all the beaches in Marmaris, you buy a drink on the beach and sunbathe all day. Girls can negotiate for free, I have been to Marmaris three times and never paid. To the beach, a maximum of 5 minutes walk, not stressful at all.
By the way, there are a lot of foreigners in the hotel.
I liked the hotel, it fully corresponds to its three stars, so who cares about the low price and proximity to the center - you are here.

My journey started somewhat crumpled: upon arrival in Turkey, the guide announced that only three rooms had been prepared for 7 potential guests from our hotel. I was one of the unlucky ones. As a result, I spent the night in an ugly hotel, although the guide assured me that in such situations the hotel could not be worse than booked. But it turned out quite differently: no one even brought us water. They say it's good that there is generally a place to spend the night. In the morning we were safely transferred to our hotel. My friend and I for two got a two-room suite with a TV, a refrigerator, a perfectly working air conditioner, a large balcony with outstretched clotheslines, a shower screen (not a curtain) in the bathroom. Moreover, our room was located in such a way that all the noise from the pool and partying on site did not bother us at all. The room was located in block C on the first floor. The balcony is full of bushes, even if you walk naked, no one will see it.
The staff at the hotel does not know Russian, but speaks English quite tolerably. There were some pretty funny people. All are welcoming.
The food is not very varied, but we always found something to our liking. Who wants frills and diversity - you definitely do not come here! And I'm quite satisfied, because. if I had paid more money for another hotel and didn’t eat in it the same way as in Ilaida (a piece doesn’t fit in the throat in such a hot place), then I would hardly be happy)))
Towels are changed every day, rooms are cleaned every day. True, the cleaning lady does not wait around the corner when you leave the room, but can also enter when you are in it (for example, when you sleep). But he will immediately come out slowly or ask: tomorrow?
About the system "all inclusive". The bar with alcoholic drinks worked properly, though the local "swill" is impossible to drink. One of our compatriots complained that the bartender regrets drinks and pours little - I don’t know, we used his services once, so we have nothing to complain about.
Yes, and the hotel does not have its own beach: neither in Marmaris itself, nor in Icmeler (on some site there is information about the beach in Icmeler and the transfer to it - lies! ) But this, again, depends on who is going for what. There were individuals in our hotel who did not need the sea at all. Well, we went to the city beach (5 minutes walk) and did not suffer from the fact that we had to move.
This is where my story ends. In general, I am satisfied with the rest.

Hello dear! My name is Elsa. So I finally got to the reviews of Marmaris ! ! I’ll say right away: I love helping people and advising them on any issues (it just so happened according to the type of activity)))))) Therefore, please contact me with questions, I’ll tell you everything in detail, as I’m ready to talk about Marmaris B-E-S-K-O -N-E-W-N-O! ! My trip lasted from 04.08. 09 to 14.08. 09. I’ll note right away that 10 days is not enough, 14 would be just right, but we, the residents of the Ural capital (the glorious city of Yekaterinburg), are not given such an opportunity, because as tours are designed for 10 days! ! Next time I will take it into account and go from Moscow))) well, now actually to the story itself)))
In the summer of 2009, I was not going to go to Turkey at all, and to be honest, my opinion about this country left much to be desired.
However, fate turned in such a way that I was destined to get to know this heavenly corner of the Earth))) My friend and I were going to Italy for a month (Italian language courses), but on the last day we were informed that we were denied a visa. In general, it doesn’t matter ... the story is separate and very long ... imagine the reaction of such a normal middle-class student who has already paid for everything in Italy (!! ! ) and broke off at the last minute before departure ... depression, tears, unjustified hopes and tp ... something had to be done urgently ! ! Well, two beautiful girls can't stay in a dusty and already boring city. fortunately, we had money that we were going to spend in Italy on designer clothes and mozzarella cheese)) we, having washed away the traces of mascara and sad tears, went to our notorious travel agency "Peace Fund" in order to save the situation and finally go WHERE - ANYTHING!!! !
before that, we went through the Internet and found out about a certain Marmaris, which is considered almost a local Ibiza ... we stopped at it. Before that, neither I nor my girlfriend were in Turkey, but it’s not the first time abroad (Bulgaria, Italy, Egypt, Malta) there are incredibly many reviews on the Internet: some say the hotel is crazy, others spit ... we, of course, began to show off: us only 4 or 5 stars, only with a sea view... but the reality turned out to be different))) we tried to book Pasa Beach 4 *, to which we received a refusal (of course, less than 2 days before departure, and even August is considered the most hot month among Russians), followed by a refusal from Nergis (less than a day before departure), the situation is not in our favor ... in the end we stopped at a small Ilayda 3 * hotel, but the worst thing was that there was not a single one on the Internet feedback!!!!!!!!! ! ! the shaking continued...
Early morning. Arrival at the airport.
Exactly at 9, we were standing at the check-in counters when a woman announced in a pleasant voice: the Ural Airlines flight is delayed until arrival, the request of all those waiting ... and blah blah blah ... the hair stood on end not only on the head, believe me. As a result, we spent half a day in Koltsovo, wandering around shops, cafes, sitting ass on ottomans .... at least they fed us well. we flew out at about 5 pm, upon arrival in Dalaman we were already tired and no ... we went from Coral Travel, the host is Odeon Tours, they had no complaints, everything was fine, they immediately put me on the bus, let's push through about excursions and all bullshit. Fortunately or unfortunately, at that moment my ears could not perceive anything and I just sat, staring blankly out the window (7 hours at the airport do not pass in vain), it was already getting dark and I was completely sour, dreaming only of a warm bed and a contrast scent ! ! as it turned out, 5 more guys were going to our unknown hotel besides us: 3 girls and 2 guys ... it was already pleasing.
When we arrived, we were immediately settled ... well, everything is standard here, sit down, dear))) my friend and I were settled on the ROOF! ! ! no, of course, not in the open air, but the sensations took your breath away ! ! it was not a room, but some kind of attic ! ! everything seems to be clean, but the view from the window was the turrets with which the hotel building was decorated)))) of course we lit a cigarette ... not in the literal sense, but still ... an incomprehensible balcony, instead of a shower, just a device from which water runs, And most importantly: LOW CEILINGS! ! I don’t know, maybe they wanted to surprise us with a special style or something ... but for us, girls with a height above 170, this clearly didn’t suit ! !
out of great fatigue, I immediately hit the ceiling a couple of times, after which I decided to curl up into three dooms (as they say in common parlance) and continue examining the room in such a new, unusual state for myself))) there is a special story with the door to the toilet: since the ceiling sloped down, the door did not close completely, and the Turks, being brilliant and cunning people, just took it and made a hole in the ceiling for the door))) what a sight... we were upset, but held on to the last and even to each other they didn’t show that something didn’t suit us ... I’ll tell you my opinion at that time: I was afraid to spoil the beginning of the holiday, because no one would need my tantrum and roar, so I philosophically decided that all this can be fixed! !
we didn’t unpack things, went to eat for money (it was 22:35 on the clock, they refused to feed us for “all inclusive”), returned to the room, went out and, with all our strength, wandered off to look for that cherished street of bars))) opinion about the hotel is quite adequate: we were going to hang out, I immediately knew that I would sleep in the room for a couple of hours and that’s probably all, so there were no big claims, the hotel is clean, not OLD, located on the 3rd line or even further)) beach. There is no beach of its own, well, or it is located in pickles, I didn’t even specify, no one speaks Russian, all the staff are Turks, at the reception there are young and nice guys (one girl and 2 guys). The hotel consists of 4 buildings, in addition to the seven of us, there were no more Russians in the hotel, which was pleasing. The hotel is designed for families from England, France, Germany, ...
and so on, so there are a LOT of children at the pool and there is one slide for everyone, but the slide is excellent, we tried it ourselves))) there are no free sunbeds, since Europeans occupy the entire area by the pool in the morning. It was nice that there were no Russians, because in Russia you get tired of Russians, but abroad you want variety. Everyone speaks English, the staff is decent. There is no need to hope that you will come, but a personal translator will be assigned to you, English is the first international language, therefore every Russian must know general phrases so as not to stand sweat and obscene the whole wide world from his own helplessness and inability to overcome the language barrier ! ! ! we didn’t have any problems with communication (students of foreign languages), but sometimes we didn’t understand the Turks . .
then we got used to their accents, learned a couple of beautiful Turkish words (a very melodic language, by the way) and bathed in the rays of their attention)) I don’t know why the courtship of Turkish staff is so unpleasant for Russians, I understand that we are all different, they are one people, we are another , but they, as it seemed to me, are just trying to make our vacation more pleasant ... of course, there were all sorts of instances, but for the most part the staff is adequate and trained ! ! ! Food-3.5 times a day, why exactly, but just an afternoon snack is one name: 3 dry cookies and drinks! fed well, different meat every day, typical salads (everything in a row), but everything is fresh, breakfasts without comment (sausage is already legendary among Russian tourists))) I’ll honestly say: what a picky I am, but I always found tidbits for myself, there were a lot of fruits, monotonous alcohol (beer-water, wine-divorced, crayfish, vodka, a couple of simple cocktails, that's all).
The white wine is not bad, at least the quality is not lame (no fasting symptoms))) our boys drank crayfish, it seems they remained healthy, the beer is like this: blow in the afternoon by the pool (again for the guys). I won’t even tell you the prices outside the hotel, since I NEVER ordered alcohol for myself in bars and clubs, I remember that it’s about $ 5 and more . . but it’s not so much, it’s more expensive in our local clubs))) in general the hotel is solid 3 * daily cleaning, towels and linen changed every 3 days.
On that ill-fated, attic night, we never reached the bar street, because it turned out to be a 40-minute walk from the hotel to it. We walked along the promenade and returned to our hut, deciding that in the morning we need to move out of there by any means! !
We came to the reception in the morning, agreed on everything without any problems, and in 2 days we already moved to a normal standard room on the 2nd floor: two beds, bedside tables, a wardrobe, a TV set, well, just like everyone else, everything is clean, True, the balcony overlooked the football field, where hot Turkish guys were constantly training. but I didn’t care, because at 6 am after Bar street you can fall asleep and snore even to the sound of bells ! ! ))))
I don’t know about other people, but I think that young people who travel to Marmaris in order to hang out and communicate know that all hotels within the city are typical, be it at least 3 or 4 or even 5 stars. The thing is that Marmaris is one of the most expensive resorts in Turkey, so there is such a system. Otherwise, there is no way: many people want to eat fish and not wash the pan ! ! ! it doesn't happen!! !
all hotels that are located in relative proximity to bar street are of the typical nature of food, service and services (with the exception of a few 5 * on the first coastline) so ... think about whether it is worth overpaying and flattering yourself with hopes! The choice of a hotel is of course a complicated matter, I understand. But I assure you, to each his own! for someone it’s not tasty here, for someone a crumb on the floor is already a universal srach! therefore, the best option is to take and compile a chart for hotels (dependence of price and quality), using the results of reviews for the last 2 years)) and already on average, calculate and look at things realistically (pictures on the Internet do not match the real numbers))) )) and if you need a relaxing holiday without boom-boom at night, hotels are an order of magnitude higher, then it's better to go somewhere closer to Icmeler. My friend from Moscow lived on the border of Icmeler and Marmaris in Turban, it was unbearable for him to get from me to his hotel, not to mention the bar street!
adjusting to these buses at 23:00 is also inconvenient, so you had to catch a car or a taxi! this is the alignment))) although ... most often the whole company preferred to walk from the hotel to the bars, since the beauty there is indescribable, the nature in Marmaris cannot be compared with anything, there are cypress trees all around, everything is green, the bays are beautiful, the mountains . . a fairy tale, the air is perfect, no dust and stench from cars! ! it was nice to walk past the yacht club, the monument to Ataturk (the first president of Turkey) and all kinds of cafes that really charge with their energy ! !
Regarding the beach: we went to the free one, there are no sunbeds at all!
I was happy to the limit: firstly, the sunbeds crush the bones)))), secondly, I disdain to lie down on this orange rug after other people, thirdly, it is very useful to lie on a towel, as it is of a healing nature (warming up) and warm sand with small pebbles didn’t bother me at all (although it becomes unrealistic by 12 days, take care of your heels)))) in the sea it’s not ideal of course: both cigarette butts and bags, but in places, not always. Of course the beach is narrow and rather dirty, but this is a feature of the whole city and the main disadvantage is probably! the water in August is not cold, even in the very early morning, that is, you don’t feel the difference after leaving the sea.
Opposite the free beach bar “Baran” (by the way, they have a male name))))))), there the Turkish workers are very loving, they constantly brought us something (either paper roses, then ice cream, then some water, then their mobile number )))), a Turk sells tourist services nearby, by the way, such a good man, we took a hammam from him with the guys. By the way, I haven’t been on excursions anywhere, I confess, I didn’t have enough for this))) I think next time I’ll be able to see something))))
And of course the most important: Bar Street, the heart of the city! there are a lot of people, from all over the world, all different, some in what, and some without almost everything)))) the street stretches for 15-20 km, one club is replaced by another, the Turks are almost dragged by the hands to visit their unforgettable place) )) At first, I had a rebilo in my eyes. There are many clubs and it is difficult to choose one, and maybe not even worth it. we could visit 5 clubs in a night, so it's ok.
entrance is free everywhere, free cocktails are given at the entrance, music is typical mixes of popular songs (but not everywhere). Each club has its own focus. Arena is the biggest, but there are a lot of Turks standing and salivating))) and sometimes there are so many people that it's hard to breathe, not to mention the free movement of the arms in different directions))) I liked Back Street the most, but there is an r'n'b orientation, sometimes dj Smash was turned on, but Crazy Daisy is not bad, I don't remember the rest, I think everyone will find something to their liking! ! almost reaching the street of bars there is a darkness of cafes, where quiet music and relaxation, a good hookah and a good menu! you can sit there too!
As for the clubs themselves, there are some that basically don’t let Turks in, if they suddenly annoy you with something, then look for such Turk-less clubs))) I didn’t give a damn, since our Russian friends were always with us, then the Turks, of course, did not dare to approach))) and if beautiful girls go alone to the club, then everything depends only on them: no one will drag them into bed without consent, especially since you can always turn on 220))) I call it that))) look, ala don’t come, pull))) or another option: then the Turk molested me, I showed him the ring on my ring finger and say: you see, this is a gift from my man, I’m engaged, so, sorry))) it’s like the wind blew it)) so there is nothing to be afraid of. as one young man noted in the reviews: Russian girls kiss Turks, oh they are ***...)))))) I agree that it was all the time, there is a couple: a Russian beauty and a Turk.
There is an opinion among knowledgeable people that the Turks are wonderful lovers, so our Russian girls come to get maximum emotions and affection))) and I say again: who goes for what, it’s everyone’s business, no one will force anyone, the choice is up to the girl! Only the main remark and advice: if you don’t want to be harassed by the Turks, then don’t wear mini skirts and short dresses, believe me, this works unrealistic ! ! and in fact it can be dangerous (verified by experience). In general, I will say this to all clubbers: I have seen all sorts of clubs in my life, so I will say that the level here is quite high (both foam parties and DJs are good, and the service in the clubs does not suffer) ! ! ! after our local show-offs, it’s even somehow surprising to come to the club without a dress code, at least in flip flops))))))))))))
Shopping: as it turned out, you can walk around and choose clothes for days. but this is of course for those who love this sinful thing))) we did not have time to get around everything, I confess honestly.
I’ll say right away that I don’t know about leather, I’m indifferent to leather products, so I didn’t look at them. everything else, the quality is not worse than in our shopping centers! ! ! my friend and I bought things at United Colors of Bennetton, the quality is super, the prices are good, Morgan took the bag for herself on sale. I am amused by their inscriptions: sale ))) they come up with prices on the go, discounts also vary at the time of sale from 20 to 50%, so you have to bargain, even in boutiques. there is one good one there: almost all the collections of the most famous brands are represented there: D & G, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Versace (shoes are generally stunned), Gucci ... this boutique is called ELita, the prices there are certainly not as low as on the market, but the quality is not at all does not differ from our Italian brands of Chinese origin)))) the market is also full of things worthy of attention, a friend bought Versace jeans, bargained literally up to 800 rubles))) I bought boots for myself, I wear them, I'm overjoyed!! !
in general, I spent a lot of money on clothes, I don’t regret it at all, but what else to spend it on if everything else is in abundance)) so shopping lovers will find their niche)))
That's probably all! It turned out to be a long story, she poured out her soul after almost six months)))) I think that I will go to Marmaris more than once, a worthy place! My heart aches sadly when I remember all these embellishments !!! ! ! Turkey is a beautiful country, quite conducive for all kinds of holidays! I put Marmaris 5+, the hotel is a solid four and the wonderful people around are boundless thanks ! ! Probably my review of the Ilayda 3 * hotel will be the first))) so if you have any questions, feel free to ask ; ))))
Have a good rest!
