We vacationed with our daughter in October 2023 and overall the vacation went well. This wasn't our first time in Turkey, so I'll start with what we liked. Firstly, the location of the hotel was wonderful - the beach is right in front of the hotel (the hotel had its own beach, not very big, but there was always room for sun loungers, although without a bar). The hotel area was small, with a swimming pool, a bar and a small seating area. The hotel was located at the end (or beginning) of the village, but everything was close - cafes, clubs, shops. We chose Icmeler rather than Marmaris, because Icmeler is cleaner and more atmospheric, compared to Marmaris - a green and calm village. The second plus was the room - we were given a room with a sea view. But, unfortunately, this was the only plus. The room left much to be desired - a shabby, problematic shower, the bathroom constantly flooded. We contacted the reception and sent a repairman, but the problem was not fixed.
Cleaning was ok, bed linen was changed only once. Sound insulation is poor. We were lucky to have quiet neighbors, but the feeling of having them right next door was rather unpleasant. Buffet food and drinks are available from morning until midnight. The restaurant staff is very friendly, but the food is monotonous.
Beach fight hotel is an unpleasant guy! In addition to hotel guests, strange sellers are launched onto the hotel beach, ranging from fruit to a bathhouse and some shops. One barker leaves, the other approaches. They don't give you peace! And as far as I know, any sales are prohibited on the beach in Turkey!

A separate component of our vacation were excursions. Of course, they weren’t taken from a separate guide! There are stands with excursions on the embankment, but it is better to choose proven places. Along the embankment you can run into scams. If anything, we took it through the guys from Insu tur, we came across them on the Internet, and in the end they offered the best price.
You can find an agency if you walk along the embankment towards Marmaris to the fish monument, next to it you turn deeper into the village, after 50 meters there will be this agency. Two to three minutes walk from the hotel. If you don't want to look for an agency.
