The hotel was chosen due to its location in the city center (near the sea and the city beach), as well as due to the presence of an open restaurant terrace overlooking the pier. There is no air conditioning in the hotel lobby (when you wait for check-in or transfer to the airport upon check-out, cook from the heat), towels, bed linen in the room were not changed at all, never! Cleaning consisted of taking out the garbage from a small bucket in the lavatory.

There is no air conditioning in the hotel lobby (when you wait for check-in or transfer to the airport upon check-out, cook from the heat), towels, bed linen in the room were not changed at all, never! Cleaning consisted of taking out the garbage from a small bucket in the lavatory. Plumbing cleaning? Not! Washing the floor? Also no. The hotel has not been renovated for 10 years. The bathroom looks like a basement, drips on the ceiling, musty smell (even stink). The room in which we were settled was on the 4th floor, exactly under the restaurant, so several times a day all the "charms of the neighborhood with the canteen" were heard, namely: the sound of dishes, the sound of furniture being moved away. There was blatant disregard for foreign tourists. Some hotel staff do not know English, they are simply silent when you address them (the girl at the reception). The hotel gives the impression of a filthy boarding house, not a 3-star HOTEL. In general, in general, the region is dirty, merchants are trying to cheat you at every step (they tried to sell us a 0.5 liter bottle of water for $ 20), garbage chutes are installed on the embankment from which a wild stench spreads. I do not advise you to go to Kusadasi and especially to the Surtel hotel.

Rested in July 2017. The hotel is designed for the Turks. They don't do anything for the stay of foreigners! The staff speaks Turkish and some English (at the reception). The photos that are given on the hotel website are too embellished. The rooms are very small. We were given a room overlooking the parking lot.

The hotel is designed for the Turks. They don't do anything for the stay of foreigners! The staff speaks Turkish and some English (at the reception). The photos that are given on the hotel website are too embellished. The rooms are very small. We were given a room overlooking the parking lot. The car washer runs all day and it's very noisy. And the Turks scream very loudly when they park cars one by one, so that more fit. In the room, the promised minibar turned out to be an old almost non-working refrigerator, in which there was nothing but the smell of decaying plastic. There was air conditioning, but the smell from it was terrible. So I had to choose between a chilled smelly room and a hot one. The hair dryer also smelled terrible. After turning it on for 1 minute, I had to run away from the room to air it out. Having told about the air conditioner at the reception, the staff could not understand what we wanted, because it works, so there was no positive result.
There is no beach nearby. You have to go or go... The beaches are dirty, the locker rooms are very dirty found only on one city beach, while on others they are completely absent.
Separately, I want to talk about the dining room, and that's how I can call them "restaurant". The staff is not friendly! The food is very scarce and not tasty. There were no sweets, except for some sweet lumps that are impossible to eat... The cooks went out into the hall without hats and looked at everyone with disdain. Alcohol was poured very sparingly and with such an expression on the face that one wanted to pour it out, not drink it. And there was also some guy (probably the director of the dining room) prowling around the hall, dressed in home clothes and watching the visitors like in a prison so that they would not take an extra piece of something. He allowed himself to enter the kitchen in the same clothes and yell at the staff. He talked with the Turks, and looked at us in such a way that it seemed that we had come to his house, and not to the "restaurant", where "all inclusive". I have never seen such poverty! In the morning there are dry breakfasts, but there is no milk. Summer, and no fruit at all! There was a watermelon, and sometimes a melon and that's it !!!!!! ! There are not even oranges that are lying on the street like our chestnuts! Photos of the restaurant on the site do not correspond to reality in all respects!
So, personally, I do not recommend this hotel if you want to relax!! !
