The second year was going to write about how it was. Finally, I got my hands on it, but I almost don’t remember anything. Therefore, briefly about how it was in the fall of 2008. And pictures. : )
It was our honeymoon decade, and almost because of the wedding table we got to the airport. Where, instead of the Aerosvitovsky B737, the dirty Donbassaerovsky A320 was waiting for us, and upon arrival in Antalya - the lock on the suitcase, broken back in Boryspil. But nothing was lost, it turned out to be the only trouble for the whole trip, and then there was a continuous positive.
We were brought to the hotel around 9 am and settled within half an hour. The room was given 5101, it is far from the sea, but from the large balcony there is a good view of both the sea and the mountains. See photos for third floor plan. The room was cleaned every day, constantly folded all sorts of figures from towels, sometimes with fresh flowers. We were grateful to them for this in the amount of $ 1 left in the room daily. : ) Plumbing and furniture are new, the safe in the room is small.
The food was excellent, almost everything was enough. You can safely go here with small children and ulcers. : ) Few fish, except for the almost unsold marinated anchovies. However, it is the same with fish almost everywhere in Turkey. . . A lot of everything else, including dairy products, salads, sweets, etc. Sausages, lemonades and strong alcohol - as everywhere in Turkish 4 *, draft wine - above average. The waiters are polite, cleanliness and order everywhere. In the afternoon, there were pastries in the bars near the beach, but not enough - they were quickly sorted out.
There were some disco and animation, but we paid almost no attention to them. The staff photographer of the hotel is very charismatic and works hard.
The beach is not very long, but there is enough space and sun loungers. About three hundred meters to the north, the line of hotel beaches generally ends and just a sandy beach begins with separate large stones, so if someone wants space, please. Bring your own beach towels. It is forbidden to bring breakable dishes to the beach, unbreakable ones are also officially prohibited, but in reality the staff just goes through every 20-30 minutes and collects empty glasses. The outdoor pool is large and clean and the local cats drink freely from it. There is an indoor pool, but who needs it in the warm season? There is a gym, small, but enough for everyone.
Representatives of the tour operator at the hotel immediately realized that we were fine without them, and only once asked who we were waiting for at the hotel gate. The absolutely truthful answer "minibus to Antalya" probably surprised them, but more than satisfied them. And so we rode on excursions with "street" agencies.
What else can be noted? The nearest ATM is 700 meters away. To the center of Kemer - half an hour leisurely walk. There are quite a lot of Europeans and few Russians among the vacationers, the staff is multilingual. The building of the neighboring 5 * is a mirror copy of this hotel, the reasons were not clarified. : )
