Rest time: 15.07. 2010-28.07. 2010

Advantages:
I liked everything (with a few exceptions).

Disadvantages:
-small rooms on the 4th floor;
- green fruits, the choice of which is already not great;
- nowhere to hide from the heat (except for the room), the restaurant and the reception are practically not air-conditioned
more shortcomings were not noticed, and these did not bother.

Review:
Rested together with his wife from 15.07. 2010 to 28.07. 2010. We have been visiting Turkey since 2001. Before that, 3 times in HV-1 and once in 5* and 4*. I will try to give a review with the information that, in my opinion, will be interesting for choosing a hotel (well, some more general information). Who wants to read fluently - look at the headings of the paragraphs and choose the ones that interest you! In short - we liked the hotel!
TOUR OPERATOR

We flew with TO Pegas Touristik. We were met, put on a bus (seats for 30), those who for the first time in the country were given brief information about the country, customs, etc. We were brought to the hotel at about 10:30, escorted to the reception. We got the room key around 11:30.
During the rest, we did not communicate with the "hotel" guide, except for an info meeting. Picked up from the hotel on time, but brought to the airport 1.5 hours before departure. On the way, unpleasant adventures awaited us. When we were brought to the Sorbet store, the driver of our bus drove into the window of this store. All passengers were outside the bus, and therefore no one was hurt. While the people were recovering from the shock, a new bus of smaller capacity drove up and we were offered to “move”, that is, to drag our suitcases from one bus to another. There were not enough places for luggage, and the bus was packed not only with passengers, but also with suitcases. We didn't get an apology.
HOTEL
SULTAN`S BEACH 4 * - located 120 meters (walk 3 min. ) in the so-called 1st line, across the road, which is very rarely driven, and two lines of villas from its own beach. The hotel is 4 floors, almost from every balcony you can see a piece of the sea.
The hotel looks very decent both outside and inside and is a reception hall and 2 wings with rooms. There are 2 very slow lifts. We hardly used them. In 1-2 minutes from the hotel on the right or directly (facing the city) there are various local shops. The location of the hotel is good and not far from the sea and 2 minutes to the shops. To the post office 3-4 minutes, to Migros and the market on Wednesdays 25-30 minutes on foot. The vaunted 5ki Zena and Loshanik, as well as Asdem Beach are located at the same distance from the sea, and they do not shine with the territory. It looks the same as Sultans. We're glad we didn't pay extra for them.
ROOM
Check in took 1 hour. I filled out a card, they made copies of our passports, took 1 voucher and asked to wait a bit, getting to know the area, the beach or the bar. We basically do not give bribes. So far, they didn’t take us to starvation, and they didn’t settle in bad rooms either. They gave me the key to the room, put on bracelets and took me to the room.

The room was given on the 4th floor (under the roof) overlooking the buildings of the hotels Sunland resort3*, Pine house 4* and Pasha`s Princess 4*. From the balcony you can see a little of the sea. The balcony has a wall-mounted clothes dryer, 2 armchairs and a table. In a very small room there are: 2 beds, 2 bedside tables, a mirror, a table and an ottoman for women to apply makeup, an empty mini-bar, air conditioning, 14” TV (with 3 Russian channels RTR Planet, RTR 24vesti, ORT), telephone, wardrobe in the wall with a paid (1.5 euros) email. safe. Tile on the floor. The bathroom has a sink with mirror, toilet, shower, hair dryer. There are 2 dispensers with gel and shampoo, one by the sink and bath. If you are unpretentious about shampoo, you can safely use it and not take it with you. There are towels for the beach, face-hands, bath and feet. Towels were changed every day, sometimes every other day. Of the minuses of the room, only its size can be noted.
In the room, as in all hotels in Turkey, a “gadget” is installed, where you need to insert a magnetic key fob, fastened to the room key, in order to make electricity in the room. TIP: you do not need to unfasten the key fob and insert it in order for the air conditioner to work in your absence. Cleaners can pick it up, and you will be fined. Take a small magnet with you or buy a soft one (usually glued to the refrigerator) and insert it (or a piece cut off from it) instead of a keychain after cleaning the room. And if you are an advanced "user", then you can insert a magnet inside the "gadget" itself and the electricity will be around the clock. After cleaning, however, the air conditioner will still not work, because the cleaner opens the door to the balcony, and it turns off, but everything will be constantly cool in the refrigerator and the battery for the camera can be charged in your absence.
NUTRITION
There are practically no complaints about nutrition.
Breakfast - boiled eggs, 2 hot dishes (such as boiled and fried potatoes with spices, scrambled eggs, sausages or sausage fried with onions or vegetables, 3 varieties of olives, 2-3 varieties of sausages, 2 varieties of cheeses, 5-6 varieties of jams and honey, peanut butter, butter, tomatoes, cucumbers, 4-5 varieties of breakfast cereals, raisins, 2 varieties of yogurt, milk, apples and grapefruits, pastries and cheese pies. coffee, coffee with milk, boiling water, Turkish tea from the "samovar", a bunch of packaged Lipton flower and green teas and 3-4 types of cold drinks "yupi". There is also a water cooler. We did not go hungry at breakfast!
Lunch - 1 type of puree soup (delicious), 8 types of main hot dishes, 1 of which is sauce, and the rest are rice, pasta, potatoes, meat, vegetable or fish dishes. Many dishes are prepared from minced meat, such as stuffed eggplants, zucchini, peppers.

Several dishes with fresh, pickled, stewed and baked vegetables. Lots of greens, olives, dry spices, sauces and vegetable oils. There are, of course, salads, like everywhere else, both original and from yesterday's vegetables and pasta (tastes fresh), but no one forces them to eat. Waste-free production in this hotel does not harm the taste of food and the health of vacationers. There is a sweet table of 5-6 sometimes up to 10 types of cakes, cakes and sweets, as always very good. delicious, there are also fruits - a salad of green watermelons and the same melons, green plums and normal apples. From drinks all the same + wine. Wine can be drawn from a "barrel" on the street or from taps inside the building that look like a washstand. Most of the newly arrived tourists go there to wash their hands, take their children and if they raise their heads, they read that there is wine, and if not, then they probably tell at home that they rested in such a cool hotel, where they washed their hands with wine.
Snack bar - from 14 or 15 to 16 they gave pizza, hamburgers and french fries. Everything is delicious. Tip: if you come to the queue, for example, for pizza, and everyone is offered ready-made hamburgers or you see that the french fries are ready, then grab what you have, otherwise you will wait for the order for 20 minutes, because if no one takes what is offered, so everyone is behind what you are. Combinations offered may be different. And if there are many of you, then everyone should go, as they try to give one or two at most in one hand.
Tea hour - from 4 or 5 pm 4-5 kinds of pastries such as cookies, biscuits and sesame pretzels were given.
Dinner - the same as for lunch (including soup) plus one or a couple of hot dishes prepared outside. Dishes such as stewed vegetables with chicken, barbecue, chicken, turkey, beef liver, donuts for meat, etc.
There are no gala dinners. There is a Turkish Night when they serve a big cake.
There is always a bunch of fresh bread of several varieties. In general, everything was fine with the exception of fruits.

Watermelons, melons, plums are terribly green, and we eat Turkish apples at home all year round. The only reason we were not upset is the prices from 40 to 90 rubles. on any ripe fruit on the street. We almost always buy what we like. Unlike many other vacationers, they tried to take what they could eat. Many left mountains of food when they left the restaurant. It is a pity and at the same time ashamed for compatriots. By the way, the Turks and Europeans also did not disdain to sort out food. There were no queues that would strain. 2-4 people at the bar or at the grill in the evening do not count. If you come for lunch or dinner before opening, you can choose a good table, but stand a little by the hot dishes. If you come later, then there will be no hint of a queue, but the places will remain only on the street. Although the restaurant itself (as well as the reception) is not cooled well, and it is sometimes better to eat outdoors in the shade.
BAR
There are 2 working bars near the hotel. Pool bar and beach bar.
The lobby bar does not work at all, on the beach there is a bar with drinks: Pepsi, Fanta, Sprite, min. water, tea, coffee, cooler. The bar is open from 10 am to 5 pm. By the pool from 10 to 22:30 free of charge. Alcohol is served from 11 am. The bar has free: vodka, beer (good), crayfish, gin, tonic, wine, Pepsi, sprite, fanta. All drinks are locally produced. Beer is delicious, with alcohol content! They drank mostly beer, as they didn’t want strong drinks, although they were tolerable (I tasted everything). There were no questions about the quality.
BEACH & POOL
Across the road and two lines of villas (120-130 m from the hotel) there is a beach, which is used by hotel guests. Beach towels can be changed for new ones every day if you catch the cleaning lady in the corridor or leave it in the room on the corner of the bed while cleaning. There are 6 or 7 rows of sun loungers on the beach. From the nearest sun lounger to the sea itself, 30 meters, a free part of the coast for general use.

There, locals or residents of villas sunbathe on their mats. You can take a sun lounger and drag it to the first row to the sea (you will be without an umbrella). If you come to the beach before 8:30 in the morning or from 14 to 15:30, then you can 100% find a couple of places nearby in the first line. You can come at any time and there will be plenty of free places under umbrellas. There are toilets and showers on the beach (near the bar). Sometimes people from other hotels came to the beach, who were correctly escorted out by beach-boys. The entrance to the sea is small pebbles, but sometimes very small crumbs that stick to the feet and it is very painful to step on large pebbles. But after a day, get used to it and get used to it. If you are an elderly pensioner or a carcass with an extra 50-70 kg of weight, then it will be difficult for you, the rest of the contingent, without whining and swearing, freely entered the cleanest sea and just as safely got out back.
The water is almost always clean, sometimes algae, twigs, sticks or cold water from a stinky river appeared after dinner. For 2 weeks it was 5 times. I did not see frank Sochi dirt there. In the water you can see all the same several types of fish. By the way, the fish did not bite the legs.
The swimming pool at the hotel is open until 18:00, there are sun loungers and umbrellas around it. Depth 150 cm at the deepest point. There is a child, in my opinion, 60cm. The water is clean, moderately chlorinated and always cool. Places are available both in the morning and in the afternoon. A little (2-3) but there is.
STAFF
All hotel staff speaks a little Russian. The guy at the reception and one bartender speaks well. Cleaners can also say “hello” and “please”. Receptionists, bartenders, waiters, cleaners suited us completely.
Cleaners regularly take a dollar from the bed, but there is no difference in cleaning, except for the fact that they change towels when necessary and not necessary and once decorated the bed with flowers.
Special thanks for the order with the occupied places of the guests of other hotels. He also arranges trash cans and a couple of times a day he collects large garbage. Dear compatriots, throw away small garbage in the bins! And then the bones from peaches and gobies will soon replace pebbles! After all, it is not difficult for smokers to take a couple of plastic glasses in a bar, draw water, stew gobies there, and then throw them away. And then for 2 weeks we watched the competition "whoever digs the cigarette butt deeper or throws it farther away from himself. " Oh, it's embarrassing.
HOLIDAYERS

The hotel is not very diverse in this regard. By country - Turks, Russian Federation, Europeans, CIS countries. If in percentage terms, then approximately - 50% of the Russian Federation, 30% of the Turks, 10% of the CIS and 10% of the Europeans - this is in my opinion. By age - Europeans or pensioners or families with children of different ages. Turks are families with small children or pensioners. Russia and the CIS - families with children or young couples and just young people, there were also pensioners.
In general, the contingent is very diverse. The main part of the tourists is quite a decent audience. There was no frank dense cattle and brawlers. There were, of course, instances that stood out from the general framework of decency. As usual, there were mothers who wanted to attach their daughters to someone. By the way, there are not many girls and single (maybe only in Turkey) mothers with children in this hotel who came specifically for the purpose of sex tourism. But they gladly tried to replace the problem-pre-retirement age ladies. Deprived of the attention of the Turkish young, they were very annoyed and dissatisfied with everything. They swore on the beach, if they were next to them, someone put a sun lounger, the music yells too loudly near the pool, the air conditioner blows badly, the sun is very hot, the sea is noisy, etc. Some were directly looking for a reason to quarrel and complain. There were practically no girls in the hotel who hanged themselves on the Turks, and indeed everyone else.
The animation team is not dead if the guests are alive.
At the hotel, the "manager of the bath" - Vedat, will offer you to visit the hammam for 30 dollars. from the nose. You can bargain. You will be given peeling, foam massage, oil massage, mask. We went, everything is not bad. It's nice that you don't have to go anywhere. If you do not want to pay, then come yourself for free to the gym with 3-4 working simulators from 8 to 20:00, to the sauna from 15:00 to 18:30 (better at 17, if earlier, it will be cold), in the jacuzzi (open 2 hours until lunch and 2 after according to the schedule). After the sauna, you can cool off (having been in the shower) in the indoor cold pool and lie down in the "relax room". You can also drink tea, coffee and water there. Who wants to warm the bones, go to the Turkish bath, but if you are brought there to crush the rest for money, then you will be politely asked to leave or lie down on a small stove near the door.

The hotel has a disco in the basement, but we didn't go there.
They say there are few people and it all depends on the contingent of the hotel, if you're lucky, then hang out.
After 22:30 - 23:00 there is silence. This is very pleasing.
LEISURE OUTSIDE THE HOTEL
Nearby there are a bunch of local travel agencies - Ginza, Pipo, Rum, etc. This year we did not want to go anywhere and did not go. There is a Mango disco bar on the way to the beach, and a disco at the Sinatra Hotel. As acquaintances from the hotel said, neither there nor there people are 5-10 people. They can ask for a fee to enter Sinatra, but you have to pretend that it’s not really necessary then they will offer the girls for free, but in a minute they will let everyone in for free.
On Sundays, animators take them to Kemer to discos. How much and how I don’t know, we didn’t go.

ACTUAL INFORMATION
CONNECTION
They called home from a machine at the reception - the most profitable way. It is better to buy squats at the post office, for a face value of 100 contours - 7.5 lire (150r), they will offer you on the street for 8-10 dollars. There are cards of 50 circuits for 5 liras on the street, but they were not available at the post office.
The post office (yellow building "PTT") is located opposite the main entrance to the Sinatra Hotel. It is better to call home numbers, (50 circuits - 25 minutes approximately, if on a cell, then 2 times less than 12-15 minutes)
1 Lira, by the way = 20 rubles.
You can buy a SIM card in a cell like Telsim or Turkcell. But no one called us from work, so we did not need a local number.
CURRENCY + PURCHASES

I changed money in the Migros store - this is a big market where locals buy goods, it's cool and cheap there. You can pay in dollars and change will be given in lira. The rate was 1.52-1.53 - better than the rate at the post office in Kemer 1.52 - 2% commission, and in the city 1.51. At the airport, the rate was 1.37, and at the hotel 1.45. I advise you to change money for those who will make small purchases in the same market or on the street. I went to the market for good beer, (4 bottles of 0.5l ephesus - 8.3 lire, 8 cans (+ promotional tray) - 20 lire, Marmara Gold "in glass" 0.7l - 3.99 lire, chips (large) - 2 lira, peanuts (200gr) - 2 lira, water 1.5l - 0.45 and 0.5l - 0.25 lira, min water (8 bottles of 0.
2l) - 2-4 Lira, peaches, plums, pears (1kg - 2-4 Lira). Fruit is also available on the street for $2-3. The fruit market in Kemer is still open on Mondays. Prices for strawberries, apricots, peaches, plums grapes 2-2.5 lira in the market.
On the way to Migros there is an Internet cafe 1lira=1hour or Wi-Fi access 2lira=1hour. There are computers with a Russian layout and there is Skype. There is an Internet cafe a minute from the hotel, but more expensive than $ 1 = 1 hour, we were not there.
In Dutik, you can profitably buy perfume at the “2 for the price of one” promotion if you like something and alcohol.
Buy sweets on the street not in boxes, but fresh at a price not exceeding $ 8 per kg. If you trade, even better. In Sorbet (on the way to the airport) 4 boxes of 500g sweets will be sold for $21 at a discount, it will be $10.5 per kg, and the boxes may contain sweets that you might not have bought.
Take souvenirs in Camyuva - cheaper than in Kemer, and they are easier to bargain.

TOTAL
The hotel, and even more so the rest, we were completely satisfied.
Minor flaws - a small room, and terrible fruits, the choice of which is not great.
We recommend the hotel to everyone, except for those who go to have fun at night. Both the hotel and the village are not suitable for this. So I would advise Kemer or an expensive youth group in the village. The hotel is 100% not youth entertainment. Although the guide said that many are advised how exactly this is, and then they die of boredom and get upset from unfulfilled hopes.
I would like to note the calm rhythm of the hotel's life (not boring and not yelling-cheerful), which can suit the general public.
Good luck to everyone and have fun!
