Stayed in this hole from 25.06. 12 to 28.06. 12. We went from Pegasus. We traveled around the area for twenty minutes and could not find this hotel during delivery. There are no special claims to the tour operator, except that they sell tours to such holes. But to the hotel there. We just stayed, not rested. They should have been there by voucher until 03.07. 12 But when we were in the room on the ground floor, probably from old age, the old air conditioner died during operation and the wiring in the room shorted out. On our legitimate requests to repair it or solve the issue radically, by providing another number, the brain was rosined for two days. Each time promising that the issue will be resolved. As a result, we were simply confronted with a fact - either we go to their other Palmyra hotel in Chamuev, or we stay here, but the air conditioner will not be repaired for us during our stay. And this is on the condition that we had to secretly keep our move from the tour operator a secret, since according to them they had a little quarrel. We were forced to agree, and as it turned out, many other people, too, who were brought to this hotel, but in fact there were no rooms for them upon check-in. At what we had to go on the day of departure at the beginning to the old hotel, and from there the operator was already picking us up in full confidence that we were resting there. They didn’t take us on the tour at all, and in the end we didn’t get on it, since we were supposed to be taken to it from the old hotel. And the person who was supposed to take us in the morning simply overslept. Many times we heard from neighbors on complaint numbers that they do not have electricity and water at all. Many of them also referred to Palmyra in order to settle other newly arrived tourists in their place, since there are fewer normal rooms than sold tours. Some women were settled in real catacombs in the basement, they were just in complete shock. There was no balcony, no normal windows, only a small window. Plus, it's humid, damp and next to the rooms of the staff living in the hotel. To summarize briefly. In addition to the location of the hotel (it is located in the center, in my opinion, in a good place), there are no more pluses, only big fat minuses. The owner of the hotel is obviously greedy hence the miserable condition of the hotel in general and the rooms in particular. The furniture is falling apart. The food is disgusting and monotonous, people simply lack the most ordinary food. There is practically no meat in the diet at all. If everyone ate, the rest who came later go hungry. The next time there is almost a massacre for places and food. Together with the guests of the hotel, the staff eats at the same time, there are not enough tables. As well as forks and plates. And that's with all inclusive. Beer ends before it starts, wine never ends. There is practically no cleaning, the sheets are generally dirty. It's easier to do the cleaning yourself. There were no pillowcases upon check-in, the promise to fix it later was either ignored or forgotten. Plumbing, to put it mildly, is on its last legs. Tiles are falling off the walls in the bathroom. There was no hot water. There were no curtains, so there was a continuous deluge around. From the balcony, a view point-blank at the windows and balconies of the nearby boarding house. Personnel requires separate consideration. These are just sleepy flies that are simply trying to ignore all your legitimate requests and pretend that you are preventing them from resting. And this is quite serious. Some of them are Turkmens, who are mainly responsible for contacts with Russians, since the rest of the staff does not speak a word of English or Russian. In a word, for more than 20 trips abroad, in half of the cases in 2 and 3 star hotels, I have never seen such a disgusting boarding house / hotel and attitude towards people from the staff. If you want to spoil your vacation, you should definitely visit this hotel.
