The hotel was chosen long and carefully. I myself have been working in a travel agency for 5 years, I know many of the pros and cons of hotels on the Turkish Riviera. The husband meticulously put forward many demands that only a high-level hotel could satisfy. But an important role was played by the cost of rest. In the end, they began to choose from three hotels: Queen`s Park, Venezia Palace and Kilikya Palace. I liked the first option most of all, my husband - the second, in the end... they took an intermediate one. : )
In general, we were VERY satisfied with Cilicia. Satisfied with the price-quality ratio, the area of the territory, the number of guests, the distance from the airport, nature and greenery. Everything is great! According to merchants in Goynuk, Kilikia is the best hotel in the area. . .

A huge plus is the layout of the main building. ALL rooms have a sea view, so no one will be left out. In my opinion, the 3rd-5th floors in the long wing are best (numbers 3301-3306.3401-3406.3501-3506). We got 1406 - on the 4th floor in a short wing overlooking the pool and tennis court. The downside is that grilled dishes were cooked on the platform under the balconies in the evening - smoke and smell in the windows. But for us it was not critical. But they always knew what kind of yummy for dinner. Animation is heard everywhere, but the closed balcony saves 100%, it did not interfere at all.
The room itself is small. By the appearance of the bathroom and the scuffs of the carpet, it is noticeable that the hotel is far from being new. Obviously not a VIP level, but we also have no complaints. I really didn’t like only a small bed (room 2 + 1) - in the heat I want to be able to lie away from each other, and we are used to larger sizes. But these are also trifles, they did not spoil the mood! Plumbing, safe, mini-bar are in good condition, the condo plows at full strength (almost inaudible, the hood in the bathroom sings louder).
Cleaning without a hitch. Towels were changed daily, bed linen - every other day. They laid out swans and decorations with flowers, even without a tip. In the first days, cleaning was done from 11 to 13, but then for some reason they began to reach our room only at 15:00. And at this time, I just want to relax... It's a pity. However, they also did not worry about this: they went to the SPA to relax.
The mini-bar was replenished before dinner without any problems.
Yes, just about the SPA. We did not take a set of procedures at the hotel ($55 is expensive! ), but we enjoyed the sauna and Turkish bath to the fullest. Hammam is great! The stone is hot, there is a lot of steam. I liked it very much! The sauna is great too, filled with mint and camphor aromas. They also appreciated the relax-room, where you can take a nap in the dark during hot daytime hours. . . But in the jacuzzi, the water is cold, like in the indoor pool, it didn’t even get in. It's all free.
By the way, about the pools. Open one - from 140 cm to 2 m! Big enough and deep enough not to be jostled by butts. The children's department is small, 40 centimeters deep, there are trees above it, from the branches of which a shadow falls. There is also a pool with slides, but it is shallow, it is not very comfortable for adults to splash down, although the slides themselves are normal, they will take attention for a couple of hours, and how the children flew there...

About children's entertainment. In the mini-club, kids are occupied, in the evenings there is a mini-disco - the songs are the same, but the children like it, even in the restaurant in the morning they sing and dance. But in general, despite the large number of children, Cilicia is not a children's hotel.
The beach is wide, there were more than enough sunbeds and umbrellas, some vacationers spend time by the pool. The sand on the beach is large and prickly, terribly heated by the sun. The entrance to the sea is pebbly, there are large boulders. But we freely entered without slippers, although we took them with us. For especially gentle there are ladders from the pontoon, very convenient. The water is clean, but it was not calm, there was constant unrest in the sea.
On the beach - water activities: parachute, banana, flying fish, boat trips, etc. Catamaran, canoe, kayak - free of charge. Windsurfing with a license is also free. They go-lure, the attitude is normal.
About nutrition. The food is plentiful and tasty. Breakfast - standard, for children there is milk porridge. I liked sweet yogurt, scrambled eggs with cheese. Cons - few fruits for breakfast, there is no alternative to fresh. Lunches and dinners - chicken, turkey, lamb, veal, fish, cutlets (everything was always present). Pasta, rice, vegetables, potatoes. Salads and fresh vegetables, olives, mushrooms, herbs. From fruits: watermelons, melons, oranges, apricots, strawberries, cherries - always and in abundance, peaches - at the end of the race, still not very ripe. For dinner, they made meat-fish-chicken-turkey on the grill, everything was delicious. Fresh bread, hot cakes. Cakes, pastries, fruit cakes, Turkish delight, halva, puddings, ice cream, strawberries with cream. . . You can't list them all. Waiters at lunch and dinner brought drinks to order. The plates were cleaned quickly and accurately, the tablecloths were changed, the cutlery was changed. No complaints. On Wednesdays - Turkish night: there were mussels, rolls and all sorts of different things.

Drinks: decent beer, Baileys, Martini, I didn’t like wine, except for white in a la carte restaurants (mostly I didn’t try it), tequila, whiskey, cognac is not bad, there is vodka, some liquors. From non-alcoholic - fanta, sprite, cola, tomato juice, milkshakes, ayran, yupi did not drink in principle. The lobby bar has a cocktail list, you can order Margarita, Sex on the Beach, Black Russian, etc. But more often they mix "at random" what comes to hand, so every time they get a new taste. Not always successful, by the way!
A la carte restaurants. Visited all three. There were no problems with the recording! Most of all I liked Mexican, least of all - Italian (the menu is somehow not Italian at all! ). I think it's worth going for the diversity of the environment! Cool. Despite the fact that the a la carte restaurants do not have a buffet, we ate at all 100 (6 dishes, only tea and coffee were not enough, but it is best to take it in the lobby bar).
If you get very hungry between breakfast and lunch, a snack bar opens at 12 or they make shawarma with fish or chicken by the pool. Gö zleme, again... From 16 to 17 in the bar at the bassin cookies (rings with sesame seeds go well with beer). Coffee-tea all the time by the pool. If she felt hungry, she took Baileys with milk - both tasty and nutritious. : )
Animation. There is also children's, and daytime, and evening. We didn't really need it. We took part in sports events (thanks to Emir, Erman, Sagatay! )
In general, it all depends on the mood with which you came to rest. After all, you can find cons in everything, if you find fault. I advise you to go to Cilicia and enjoy the trip! And just close your eyes to the little things, because you have a VACATION! : )
