Welcome all!
We rested in Marco Polo in September 2013. At the end of the vacation from visiting the hotel there were rather mixed feelings. I will state everything in order, without unnecessary emotions.
TERRITORY. The hotel is positioned as a club hotel (HV), which implies the presence of a large green area with rooms a la bungalows. The territory of Marco Polo is not very large, but quite green. The gardeners work until dark, so that everything is beautiful, trimmed, everything blooms and smells sweet. The cleaning of the territory itself is slightly lame, especially on the periphery.
NUMBERS. The hotel consists of 2 parts: the Club - the main part, and the Garden - a territory of recent construction, remote from the sea. I had to live both there and there, so you can compare.

After arrival, we were settled in the Garden, on the farthest line at the fence. The impression that you live in some settlements. Only Slavs settle in the Garden, I didn’t see either Turks or Kazakhs there. The room is small (I'll post a photo), the front door is all in the cracks and installed skewed.
There is no soundproofing as such, you can hear your neighbors completely, especially in the bathroom. You wash your face and listen to your neighbor pushing on the toilet.
There is a rural street nearby, quiet and sleepy during the day, but at night traffic starts on it. There is also a mosque nearby. The call to prayer at dawn was especially inspiring.
But the Garden itself is quite quiet, especially nice to take a nap by the pool there in the afternoon; You can count people on your fingers.
We called the reception, they promised to move in a day. As a result, they moved to the Club, in a building near the playground. During the day it was quiet there, I was already looking forward to a full night's sleep, but it was not there. At 23-00 a disco broke out in a nearby hotel (may Allah send their amplifier for many years of operation). It lasted somewhere until 2 o'clock in the morning, so every day. So I didn't sleep well on this vacation.
A room in the Club with a different, more convenient layout (photo attached), more spacious, better soundproofing.
Before leaving, I read reviews about poor cleaning, lack of shampoos, gels and toilet paper in the bathroom. It felt like I was in a different hotel. Cleaning is excellent, daily (despite the fact that the tip was left only on departure). Friendly and polite maids. In the bathroom, there was a gel shampoo in a dispenser and a spare bottle. There were 3 (three) spare rolls of toilet paper, apparently in case of remarkable diarrhea.
NUTRITION. The food at the hotel is top notch. There is a choice of dishes, not very large, but sufficient; Don't forget that this is not a premium hotel. Critical lines for food did not notice. Chefs walk around the restaurant, monitor the availability of dishes and order, urge subordinates. Given the number of tourists, cleaning in the main restaurant is normal.

Three times a week themed evenings - Mon (Turkish), Wed (Mediterranean), Fri (Slavic Bazaar). We went to Turkish and Mediterranean, everything is delicious, colorful; at the end of the procession in the removal of a huge cake.
A la carte restaurants. Were in Turkish (5 dollars per person), and Texas (10 dollars). Liked everywhere, but especially in Turkish.
On the basis of the Texas and Mexican restaurants, a pleasant snack bar operates during the day and late at night. If you don't feel like going out for lunch, this is a great alternative.
Gardena has Bistro Olympos - a good place to have a drink and a snack during the day.
Also in the evening you can drop by the El Turco coffee shop (open around the clock), drink quality tea or coffee on the terrace.
BARS. There are several bars in the area. Lobby bar - in the range of tea / coffee and Wi-Fi.
The bar on the beach, also known as the Moonlight Bar - about nothing, there is no choice, the bartender is also on site. The bar in the bistro Olympos - a small assortment of drinks, a bonus is an indispensable drunken company of Slavs at the bar counter.
The pool bar is the most odious place in the hotel. The whole party is here and around. A crowd of suffering and lathered bartenders. Normal selection of drinks only here. When ordering a cocktail, specify the ingredients - if you say "Whisky-Cola", then they will pour cola with a local terrible whiskey, if you say "Teechers-Cola" - you will get a normal cocktail. Imported alcohol periodically drops out of the range. The dishes at the pool bar are not washed, but rinsed, so getting a drink in a glass with mint tatters from the previous mojito is not a question at all.
BEACH AND POOL. There are always places on the beach, but it is clear that the first lines of sun loungers are occupied from early morning. It is much more difficult to get a free place by the pool, everything is occupied with towels. Moreover, according to observation, it is not the Slavs who do this, but the Turkish vacationers. Cleaning is lame, but here the main fault is on tourists who litter where they don’t get, although there are plenty of trash cans.

ANIMATION. We do not get carried away, so the impressions are superficial. Activities are held constantly (boccia, archery, darts, various fitness programs). Evening shows did not really watch, because primitive. Twice, however, it was not bad - on the Mediterranean day (Wednesday) there was a performance of some obviously Greek legend, which, however, they did not understand, because. came to the middle. Another time, a local VIA came with the Gypsy Kings repertoire, they played perfectly, the evening was a success.
Of the entertainment on site, I note free kayaks (or was it a canoe? ), We took every day and swam along the coast. It is interesting and good for health, not everyone hangs around in a snack bar.
So in a nutshell about the hotel. It has flaws, but for the warm Mediterranean Sea and the surrounding landscapes, you can close your eyes to them.
Thanks for attention! There will be questions - write!
