I'll start with a digression. Forgive me the previous author of the review called "Horror". If the worst thing in the life of the above author is a trip to Amara Dolce Vita, then I sincerely wish all people that the worst thing that could happen to them is a trip to Amara. After all, this is not a nuclear war and not a famine in Ethiopia.
As for me, the hotel is very good and is fully suitable for any type of holiday (calm, active, family, romantic) and for a contingent of any age.
A large territory, which allows you to feel like on completely different planets in different parts of the hotel:
- so at the main buildings, on the beach and by the pools, the bulk of the people, animation, bars, restaurants;
- behind the villas on the courts, fields (football, volleyball, basketball) sports fans and professional players spend time (whole teams come, many teens). Also there is archery, darts, etc. ;
- Behind the zoo, between Roma and Istanbul Street, there is a forest and complete silence, where you can meet pensioners with books on the benches, mothers walk with strollers. The feeling that you are not in a hotel but in a huge park, where rabbits and chickens run between the trees.
Very good kids clubs, different for kids of different ages. You can leave the child at 9.30 and pick up at 22.00, moreover, the children really like it (the animator Marina from Kyiv was hung like a Christmas tree), they are even taken to a children's restaurant for lunch. I understand that this is individual, but the hotel even has mixtures for babies, I report just as a fact.
I will not write much about food. There is everything, just what is not in the central restaurant, is in a la carte or in the round-the-clock restaurant "Filini". In the last buffet, it’s quick for someone, but otherwise you need to order from the menu (many people don’t know this, delicious grilled salmon). By the way, a la carte prices have risen by 15-20 euros, and Dolce Vita 25 euros (there, too, as in the central one). I recommend: Zenasia (sushi is not super, but very decent), Peking duck, Tavern (good seafood soup), fish restaurant. There is also a molecular cuisine restaurant, but we did not get there. The snack restaurant has a very tasty barbecue with turkey and liver, but there are queues. Still, in the central restaurant at dinner there is a table of Russian cuisine, fried potatoes, like at home, fish cakes, dumplings were.
Bars. Lobby bar round the clock. Cool jazz bar, a girl from Romania sings great in the evenings. Liked the Irish pub. Again, not everyone knows, behind the bar on the beach towards the villas, there is a beer garden, there are 3-4 beers, there is even a roach. I did not count the number of bars, but there are a lot. The choice is excellent, a lot of imported alcohol. We don’t drink Turkish drinks, we drank “absolute”, “ballantines”, beilis, a good selection of cocktails, champagne, though dry, martini, German beer in bottles, etc. In general, for every taste (cognac aged 12 years, Don Perignon champagne for money).
The rooms are good spacious, in addition to cleaning during the day, they prepare for bed in the evening, 8 Russian, Ukrainian channels, DVD, dressing room (important for me), in the bathroom there is a whole set of hygiene products, there is even after-sun cream, a razor, aftershave foam, etc. (not in all hotels you will meet).
There is, of course, a minus - it's audibility in the rooms. I do not advise you to settle in the Capri building. It is connected to the building "Venice" through -1 floor, and further from Istanbul Street and cheerful people walk past your doors in the evening.
At the end of our holiday, an animation team from Brazil arrived, 20 guys and 20 girls. This is beauty, when the girls put on feathers and only pimples from the swimsuit, even drunken, indifferent to everything before, bureaucratic men with the appearance of deputies got up and began to take pictures with them like in Thailand with transsexuals. In general, the spectacle is still the same as at the Brazilian carnival.
