This is the worst hotel I've ever had on my vacation, and there were quite a few of them in all regions of Turkey.
It's just a shame it's not worth the money!! !
Of course, we came for the sea and the sun, but the hotel overshadowed the whole holiday!! !
1. Room: It seemed clean, there were cosmetics, the room was tiny, the balcony was tiny, the bed sheets and towels were washed and smelled damp, they cleaned every day and even changed the bed for $1.
In the hotel itself, by the pool and throughout the hotel, all the staff are like flies, somewhere they wrote in the reviews that the staff is Russian-speaking, but this is not true, a couple of people at the reception, of course, speak, the rest are frozen and make square eyes when you contact them, glasses were removed and garbage was on the pool only the next day it seems like it makes no difference, but you come to the pool in the evening and there are glasses and garbage on the tables near the sun loungers.
The elevator is a different story. During the week of our stay, no one washed it, it was spit on and covered in some streaks.
2. Food: You can’t call it a restaurant, just like a fast food cafeteria.
You can eat, but without variety and delights, the same thing, there were fruits and vegetables, there were also a little sweets, but everything was very, very modest. On the area in front of the restaurant it was incredibly hot under the canopy, and in the hall itself the air conditioners couldn’t cope during lunch.
Alcohol – Shmurdyaka!! !
3. The beach is a separate issue: In the morning we came early because it was very hot, at 6.30 we were already on the beach, took sunbeds and there were already enough people, but there was just too much garbage after the evening gatherings of the local people, a sleepy boy from the hotel came at 8 the beginning on the ninth and tried to clean something up and distribute mattresses on sunbeds, it’s not clear why they even remove them at night, they’re not valuable. Beach towels are many years old!!!
There is no toilet on the beach from the Hotel, it’s hard to call it a bar - only water and jupi!! !
4. There is no animation at all, so to speak!! ! One girl was seen a couple of times doing gymnastics in the water and once in the bushes she was seen doing yoga, that’s all!! ! It's hard to call it animation!! ! The children's room works and our child liked it. There wasn’t a children’s disco once during the week, although they seemed to say that there would be one, but then everything was cancelled.
5. MUSIC IN A HOTEL IS NOT SOMETHING DIVINE!! ! the pool is a little more modern, but the room itself is something reminiscent of a drama film or a funeral agency!! !
There is no entertainment, so we entertained ourselves with excursions and, fortunately, there is a bus stop to KEMER nearby, we went for a walk there in the evenings. When we arrived from a walk, it was at 23.00, we came to the bar to drink Turkish brewed tea and the bartender, with his eyes bulging and not understanding anything about what we wanted, said there was no tea today!!!
It was a scandal, of course the scythe had already gone to pieces!! ! The next day after the quarrel, everything got better and everyone was fussing around us. The bartender MUSTAFA was a smart guy who resolved all the situations of the vacationers!! !
1. The hotel is located in the village of Kiris, an hour's drive from Antalya Airport. It is better to take a transfer from Antalya taxi sites, it will be 10-15 dollars cheaper than taking a hotel transfer. A taxi from the airport will charge $75 while a regular chartered transfer will charge $45. The hotel is a 4-storey building with a bar, swimming pool and private area on the beach. Everywhere is clean, the waiters speak Russian, maybe not so competently, but still. Even students who come to work seasonally do everything to please you. The rooms may seem small, but keep in mind that you are going there to sleep and swim. The air conditioning works properly, there is hot water, I recommend taking the safe service (1.5 euros / day).
2. The food is varied, sooooo tasty (except for breakfast, which seemed meager to me, but this is just my subjective opinion). Every day something new, fried fish, steaks, chop, etc. There is a variety of fruits and sweets. But again, this is a 4, so you should not complain about the kitchen.
3. Contingent - 98% are Russian-speaking CIS students with families, children and loved ones. The children don't make much noise, the men don't make a fuss, that is, there are no "tagils" here. This is a very quiet hotel with its daily short entertainment programs. But if you want discos, go to Kemer or to the neighboring Sailors Club, where parties take place every day.
4. Don't skimp on tips. Bartenders, front desk, waiters try very hard to help you in every way they can. The money you spend in a week, they get in a month. Giving a dollar to each will make about $10, which is a small amount for tourists, but it will also be nice for the service staff. If everyone gives a dollar, it will be an additional 100-200 dollars for them, which will be a nice plus for the guys.
5. Hotel Akka Claros is a solid four. Before the trip, we feared that the first impressions of the first trip to Kemer would be negative. So we were scared by tour operators. However, from there we returned well rested, with a baggage of impressions and new friends. I highly recommend this hotel for those who want a quiet and inexpensive holiday. For a week of rest, I paid 622 euros for two people, which is a pretty reasonable price.
We really liked it, a beautiful small area, cozy, good rooms, cleaning every day with a change of towels.
The food is excellent! breakfast standard, lunch-dinner meat chicken, beef, meatballs, a lot of salads, vegetables, fruits, 18 kinds of sweets, here you can list and list, in the evening you must have fish on the grill every day, ice cream in the afternoon, cakes are baked near the pool, soups are not very we didn't eat. You definitely won't be hungry!
Wine, beer, everything good, everyone drank strong drinks, we didn’t try, I won’t write.
The beach is ordinary, there is an excellent beach fight on the beach, a good uncle Izmail, speaks super Russian, at first we didn’t think that the Turks), there is a machine with water and lemonade), they bring watermelons from the hotel in the afternoon.
Animation, during the day, fitness aerobics in the pool, a playroom for children, we didn’t go there (there were no children)
Darts, volleyball during the day. In the evening live music in the restaurant by the pool, karaoke.
Minus: our people are pigs, they pull food into the rooms... then they throw it along the corridors of the hotel. It was embarrassing.
General air conditioning in the hotel. , a bit weak, but you get used to it right away.
Ground floors, do not recommend. Damp. .
Everything else is great!
The first dishes - for lunch and dinner for 2 types - for lunch, some for dinner and others! Separate menu for breastfeeding! Coffee, tea, alcoholic beverages, juices and carbonated beverages! You can eat in unlimited quantities and you can take food to the room, if you have not milked or leave it, it is immediately thrown in the trash and cleaned for guests! Everything is very clean and fresh! The room was cleaned every day, garbage was collected, and a bottle of water was brought. Towels were changed often because we asked for them. The bed was changed once, I understand once every 3-4 days. Clean pools, and in general the area is well maintained! At the bar for free vodka, beer, cocktails, etc. - I do not know everything because I did not take - for the money only branded drinks! In the afternoon, ice cream is distributed, very tasty and milkshakes and something else is fried, but we didn't take it, it just doesn't fit! The sea is beautiful, the beach with small pebbles is clean, the sea is clean! There is a vending machine with cold water and juices! Near the hotel there are shops with clothes and Turkish rahat, teas, etc. - Everything is expensive!
But if you hope to buy cheaper - you will not succeed - that in Kemer, that in Antalya! You need to know the places, spend an hour on the road and travel, etc. Bargain! We also bought a tour from our guide Agali - maybe more expensive than in Turkish travel agencies, but definitely safer! The tour was taken in Demre-Mira-Kekova-super, worth every dollar! The hotel staff is polite, everyone smiles, if there are any questions or problems, everything is solved! Speak Russian! The hotel is worth noting - we were vacationing in Turkey for the first time, so I can say right away - do not believe the reviews 100% - not everyone will like it, but the hotel Akka Claros is really a solid 4 *, even 4+!
Rested from 07/26/2018 to 08/06/2018 family. The composition is a bit non-standard: three adults and 1 child (6 years old), the hotel has two types of rooms for such a composition - bunk rooms on the upper floors, or two-room on the ground floor. As a result, we chose the first floor. The advantages of this room: individual air conditioning, and the lack of a steep staircase from which the child can "fly off", the balcony goes directly to the lawn near the children's pool, which is very convenient. Cons - when you close the windows, you feel damp / damp.
Accommodation and room:
We arrived early in the morning, there were no free rooms for our accommodation, as always, so we changed clothes and went to the sea. By 12 noon they returned and settled in. The administrator speaks Russian normally, there is also a girl who even has a better pronunciation than many in Russia, although she says that she is local. In short, the guys are prepared and "understand" in the literal and figurative sense, so they agreed to the request to give a room with individual air conditioning, while accepting a small portrait of the American president.
I want to make a reservation right away that our friends were resting in the hotel in front of us in a room with central air conditioning, which is not always on and in the evening it is very hot in the room, for me this is important, so I wanted my own air conditioner in the room.
The room also has a safe (for a fee), a small bar fridge and a TV with remote control (no deposit).
Conclusion: if you want to get a good number, you don’t have to be asshole, all the same people! $ 10-20 will not ruin you, but then you will not suffer and freak out the whole vacation.
Territory:
The hotel is located very compactly in a small area, but it does not bother. There is one restaurant, one bar near the main pool, followed by a children's pool and a kids' club. There is also an outdoor stage. In principle, everything is well-groomed, cut, painted and washed. Of course, if you specifically look for flaws, you can find it. All statements about "slippery tiles by the pool", "sticky tables", etc. take place, but here you need to understand that, firstly, this is 4 * with the appropriate price, and secondly, if you don’t want to fall, don’t get drunk to a horizontal state, and sticky tables due to the fact that you yourself climbed breasts into a plate, when they took another glass of whiskey from her husband...
Around the hotel there are mountains with coniferous forest, so in the evenings coniferous coolness begins to come from the mountains, it's just super.
Conclusion: the hotel lean justifies its price in terms of territory, condition and location.
Cleaning:
The hotel, together with its contents and interior, is far from new, but quite in a satisfactory condition. All beds are slatted, spring mattresses are of normal quality, not killed. Linen is also normal, without stains. The floor is tiled, both in the rooms and in the bathroom. The shower cubicle is fenced off, there was always hot water. Soap, shampoo, gel, body milk were immediately in the room in huge quantities, for two weeks all this was not even fully used, so there was no need to add. There were 9 towels in the set: four large, four small and one for feet. There are no bathrobes and slippers. Cleaned the rooms somewhere in the lunch area. They left tips a couple of times, purely out of politeness (probably the sign at the school “respect the work of cleaners” still puts pressure on the conscience), but “swans” were not sculpted on the beds, probably due to the lack of a “five-star” talent.
They also put a bottle of water in the refrigerator every day, sometimes they asked for two, they gave it without problems.
Bed linen was changed three times. Towels were changed almost every day if we wanted to. I just don’t understand the tantrums in the reviews about changing towels: if you want them changed, just stack them on the floor and hang a “please clean up” sign on the door. Everything!
Conclusion: if you want to get something, say so, do not wait for everyone to understand your thoughts!
Food and drinks:
I'll start with the pleasant: Drinks are both free and paid. Of the free: three types of wine (white, red, rose), beer, a couple of cognacs, vodka and a couple of types of whiskey. Also, the bartender can organize cocktails, both according to your recipe, and standard ones, such as Mojito or Blue Lagoon. Wine and beer are normal, but strong for an amateur, in any case, I did not like it. They started pouring from 10 in the morning, which is familiar to our people. There were no big queues at the bar, 3-4 people maximum. There was also ayran and a milkshake for the kids.
Three meals a day. Breakfast is standard: boiled eggs, scrambled eggs and scrambled eggs, sausage in three or four types, olives, yogurt, jams, pastries, cereals and salads.
Lunch and dinner are complete. Always three or four types of meat, fish, salads. Fruits have always been watermelons, melons, peaches, plums, grapes, apples. Everything is excellent, ripe.
I especially want to note the cake - it's just super, a dozen kinds every day, probably I didn't have time to try everything.
Food and drinks from the restaurant were allowed to be taken out, which some of our compatriots used in full, carrying half a bucket of peaches into the room. It looked a little depressing, as if people were constantly malnourished. Also, before the trip, I met a lot of reviews with photos of "uncleaned dishes in the room. " The question is, why do you drag it there all day and how many times a day do you need to take it away from you ???
Between breakfast and lunch, gozgulme cakes with different fillings are made by the pool, and between lunch and dinner, there are 3-4 types of ice cream in the bar.
Conclusion: guys, there are designated places for eating, where you can eat something almost around the clock, and all this is for you, everything is very tasty and everything is free! But you don’t have to carry this food all over the territory and bury it like hungry dogs in all corners !!!
Beach and sea:
The hotel is on the second line and about 300-400 meters from the sea. The walk is not annoying, the road is along the shops with fruit, tea, souvenirs. Across the street at a traffic light. On the sea, the beach is divided between hotels with a clear color gradation of umbrellas. There are always enough sun loungers at our hotel, because the "beach-boy" closely monitors that vacationers take places "according to the purchased tickets", i. e. bracelet color. The only thing that caught my eye was that on the pier, which belongs to a 5 * hotel, vacationers from other hotels were not allowed in (I had never seen this anywhere before, everyone used the piers). In our hotel, in the lunch area, watermelons were brought to the beach. Also for the hotel on the beach there was a free post with water and sweet drinks. There was no free alcohol on the beach. Alcohol in the beach cafe is paid for all vacationers.
The beach is pebbly, the descent into the water is sharp and the depth to the chest was at a distance of about 3 meters from the shore. There were waves for a couple of days, on hotel days there was almost complete calm. There are no jellyfish. The water is very clear. Toilet and fresh shower ten meters from the last sunbeds. Beach towels in the basement of the hotel were issued on cards without deposit three times a week.
Conclusion: the sea, which we actually came to, was just super: clean, warm and salty.
Additionally:
There is a spa center in the basement of the hotel, so when we arrived, on the first day, the whole family went for a massage and peeling. The whole procedure (sauna, hammam with peeling and foam massage, oil massage) lasts an hour and a half and costs $20. I liked everything, so we decided to improve our health further and decided to go through all the massages in a course of five procedures, which I do not regret. They do it for half an hour, without a freebie, very professionally. Masseurs are both boys and girls. Wife additionally gave some masks and body wraps. Akyn, a Turk, manages the salon, introduces himself as "Petrovich" - a great guy, not greedy and friendly. Sometimes they just came to the sauna to sit. Petrovich always gave towels, poured tea.
Conclusion: I advise absolutely everyone to go to the spa at least once. If you don't want to spend money, sit in the sauna and chat with Petrovich. Well, then order what you have enough money for.
Animation:
In short, the kids club is just super!
Adult animation, carried out by animators - no (even with my positive attitude, I can’t say anything good).
Animator Sasha worked with children almost from 10 to 16. Games are different every day: cookies, coloring books, cartoons, football, banana rides, Olympic Games with medals... In the evening, a children's disco and some kind of cultural program in the form of a performance by a visiting group of acrobats, dancers .
In the end, I can say that the rest turned out great. The hotel is worth the money. It is located very well both in terms of the combination of mountain and sea massif and in terms of distance from the airport and excursions. The hotel is more suitable for families, which must be taken into account. If someone is interested in the question, “Will I come to this hotel again? ”, I will answer “no! But not because I didn’t like the hotel, but because I haven’t been to all of them yet!!! ”
Rooms: the hotel is very old, no one has done repairs for a long time. The furniture is shabby, there are stains on the walls, etc. The rooms are cramped.
Air conditioning is centralized, so it works on schedule. On the last 2 floors, it practically does not cool, so keep in mind!
The water is hot only when the sun is shining outside, in cloudy weather summer flows.
Service: the rooms are cleaned every day, but they are sooo badly cleaned. $1, $2, etc. - nothing will be decided! Towels thrown on the floor may not be changed at all, but simply folded beautifully as fresh. Bed linen was changed only once in 12 days!!
The staff at the reception speaks Russian, at the bar and in the restaurant - no. Don't expect any kindness from them either.
Restaurant: the choice of food is great, it's "+". For lunch, a large assortment of meat, for dinner - fish.
The dishes are washed poorly, always dirty plates, spoons, forks (((
Many vacationers bring food to their rooms, so they met cockroaches in the hotel room ! ! there were none in the rooms.
Beach: walk to the beach for about 10 minutes. The beach itself is small. When the hotel was full, there were not enough places for everyone. In the morning after 8:00 there are no more free sunbeds! There is no bar on the beach, only a water cooler and a UPI.
The beach is also very dirty. But it depends more on vacationers who smoke and throw bulls right under their feet, as well as beer bottles, caps, pumped corn, etc.
Outcome:
In general, the hotel is dissatisfied. The price is too high. The rooms are old and dirty. There is not enough space for everyone both in the restaurant and on the beach.
The only negatives I can attribute is that there is not much space in the air-conditioned dining room, if you do not book in advance, there is only a large hall on the street, and if you relax in July, it is very stuffy.
