…. A difficult year has passed, a new one has come ...instability, a crisis ...an increase in the exchange rate ...prices for holidays have become unattainable, but at the same time a little ingenuity and a manifestation of miracles of endurance and everything will work out!

The month of March - in advance, the booking began with a hint from our “family tour operator” (note: as there is a “family doctor”, there is also a “family tour operator”) and at the beginning of the search, everything did not seem to us in pink tones, since prices were even early the bookings weren't much lower than just buying the ride, but on closer inspection and with an all-inclusive package, we started at $800 for 2 people (5 star hotel) and ended up at $470 and 4 stars.

In addition, Turkey won due to the flight (2 hours) against similar prices for Bulgaria (when traveling by bus 23 hours).

And in Bulgaria - only breakfasts, and in Turkey - just everything, everything.

And a big plus - from Turkey there could be an excursion to Jordan - you can say: a childhood dream ...

The only question of early booking (let me remind you - in March) is what the weather will be like in Turkey during the holidays (in our case, for the May holidays).

All forecasts showed only the sun and heat from 35 degrees and up, probably, the tour operators collude with those who make the weather forecast ....

As a result, we chose Kemer, especially since, according to reviews, everyone really likes this resort. And the city of Kemer itself (note - translated as "belt" or "belt") connects the rest of the resorts before and after it, as if the regional center. Previously, there was only a small village called Eskikoy - "old village". And at the beginning of the 20th century, a city began to be built, which was named Kemer. The name of the city was not accidental. The Taurus Mountains are fortified with a stone wall, which serves as a protection for the Kemeri region from mudflows coming down from the mountains.
The stone fortification seems to encircle the mountains. Therefore, the name Kemer (belt) arose. Until recently, it was possible to get to Kemer only by sea. Now Kemer is connected with Antalya by an excellent autobahn (3 lanes there and 3 back). The roadway, according to information from the locals, is changed almost every year, and therefore, although it takes about an hour (45 minutes) to drive from Antalya, this time is almost imperceptible (even in local minibuses).

The plane arrives in Antalya - you don’t have to rush from the gangway: usually baggage claim can take up to 1 hour. We got our baggage instantly - as we flew on a charter. Further, when leaving the airport, we pay attention, there are no carts - there are none at all (we carry everything in our hands), by the way, when there is a landing back home - carts for 1 euro and it is useless to bargain!

BTW, packing at Antalya airport costs 10 dollars (so the recommendation is to take a film or bags with you and when you go back home, pack everything yourself at the hotel: the easiest option is to take a large garbage bag and tape at home and easily pack all your suitcases at the hotel before departure/departure).

So, when you exit the airport, you don’t have to worry - you are met by a number of tour operators (tables in one row), behind which are the guides who meet you. They came up with this very cool (everywhere where we were on vacation, at most - there is a guide with a sign in his hands, like near Privoz at the railway station in Odessa, like, “I’ll rent a room by the sea. ” And here are all the operators with logos (large ), all in one place - calmly approach and they call you the number of your bus and your vacation has begun!
We believe that the most important condition was that our hotel was located near the city center, next to bars, discos, parks and SHOPS, that is, where life is in full swing!! ! (to the left you go - the embankment and the sea, to the right - the central street to the circle (at least 150 meters from the hotel) and the very very center of the city). By the way, we didn’t see another hotel there that would be even closer to the city center…

HOTEL "Mira Garden Resort" (old name "Magic Garden Resort") was noted by us as one of the most suitable - in the reviews that supposedly only young people usually rest there and only Russians rest and, see above, the PRICE is 235 dollars per person ! When we were there, there were young people, but the composition was as follows: 50% young Turks and 46% young Russian girls, plus two old men from the Crimea and us (two people) - only 50 rooms in the old building, we don’t know how many in the new one (suppose that so many same).
If you choose between the old and new buildings, take the old one (if you are not disturbed by the sound of music from 10 am to 10 pm (in the rooms from the pool side) or 44 roosters (from the rooms to the mountain and the mosque)).

We arrived at the hotel on May 2 at 11 am, check-in was immediately (usually you have to wait until 2 pm, since they have cleaning service from 12 to 14).

Important - the prices for alcohol and cigarettes in Turkey are such that you take everything with you, for example, 1 liter of whiskey costs $ 40 in the store, Marlboro - $ 4, Winston Slim - $ 3, beer $ 3-4, etc. therefore we bought all the houses (in Odessa), and in the duty department we bought whiskey (0.5 liters) for a promotion. And everything that they didn’t drink in Turkey was changed on the spot for money (like for half the price, but it turned out to be twice as expensive as they took). By the way, they also took water from the house with them - they really saved money, and back there was free space in the suitcase.
If water was not taken from the house, then: settled, left the hotel to the right, to the road, to the left, to the White Tower, crossed the street and straight ahead, on the right side there will be Carefur, they bought water there: 0.5 liters (0.65 lira) or 1.5 liters ( also for 0.65 lira), left the store and into the alley in front of the store (if Monday - the Bazaar is open) - bought fruit and something else (see below about the Bazaar) and to the hotel. Now there is water and fruits - hey gay, rest!

A little earlier, in the old building, ALL the rooms were terrible and there were also COMPLETELY terrible among them, but this year they cheated a little and it became like nothing. True, young people look at the numbers of the old building and immediately go to the new one. Therefore, we pay attention - do not rush! You may be charged $20 for this service. But, we did not offer this money and they did not ask us for it (twice we looked at the rooms and chose the 3rd floor overlooking the mountain and the city center - the opposite side of the pool).
Do not take it above the third floor - the elevators do not work every day, but they are and work (well, they do not work every day, but we still rode). By the way, elevators go only up, down - legs.

The main thing: rooms on floor 0 - that is, the 1st floor in our opinion (without a balcony) - I do not advise at all!

If you want to be aware of the whole life of the hotel, then ask for rooms with a view of the pool, there music sometimes sounds even until 23.30, you hear who is talking about it)), but the closed balcony door solves all problems : ))

On the other side, you can hear the mosque 5 times a day, although everyone can hear it ...and also roosters. About roosters separately: these creatures do not know how to sing ku-ka-re-ku, they wheeze, sing in turn, sing a duet, run after hens that chirp, then some individuals lose their voice and they begin to chant so that you think that he (the rooster) is strangled by his competitor.
In general, when a mountain of chickens was brought for dinner and it was quiet in the room after dinner, we thought that the cock's time was over and we would sleep peacefully, but it turned out that these creatures had escaped from the cook and continued to yell until we were evicted from the room. By the way, in the basement rooms (floor 0) - you will listen to THESE cock concerts from VIP seats ...But with all this, on the first night we didn’t hear them (roosters) in our room (I remind you of the third floor) at all - we slept without hind legs (paws ), and then we got used to it, especially since we did NOT sit in the room - which is what we wish you.

About the room: a double bed and one lorry, a dressing table with a mirror, two bedside tables, a wardrobe with 5 hangers (do not break the hangers - they are removed from the side, but not entirely - a ring remains on the pipe, and the hanger itself is removed), a small refrigerator (works well ), the TV is old with ORT, TNT and Russian musical channels, plus there is an ashtray and air conditioning. There are no glasses.
Not at all (neither in the refrigerator, nor on the table, nor in the bathroom). There are 2 plastic chairs and a table on the balcony (they used to dry swimwear and towels) - there are no ropes or hooks for drying.

In the bathroom: shower, shampoo (not everywhere) and soap in the dispenser, there is a hairdryer (very good), hot water is not always - more often in the morning, but they promised to fix it so that it was always there.

Cleaning is simply impossible to understand: they simply refuse to clean every day! But when they clean it, it's just a miracle: fresh towels, new linen, rose petals, towels like swans, something delicious puff. As a result, capitalism won (as I understand it, only we left 1 dollar for cleaners) - and we were cleaned not every other day, but every one!

There is no theft at all! (they are either too lazy to steal, or they are such people, in short, there is no safe in the room, and at the reception the counter is simply littered with these safes, but no one needs it - they don’t steal).

Regarding the approach to the room at night - they do not turn on the light in the corridor!
Asked: why not include? - in response, I listened to a 10-minute prose in Turkish from the girl from the reception, said in English and Russian that I didn’t understand anything - I listened again to everything in Turkish and after that I realized that I didn’t need to know this reason - they turned on the flashlight on mobile and went to the room.

There is a loose staircase on the first floor - over the past 3 years, many have written about this, why they don’t repair it is not known - you can ask yourself, but why do you need a new lecture in Turkish (how do we need light in the corridor)?

For a city hotel, the territory is sufficient: a large swimming pool with sun loungers, a dining room and indoor and outdoor tables, bars - one by the pool, the other - by the second building. The pool is lit up at night. Orange trees, palm trees and cats ...cats, by the way, there are an unmeasured number of cats in Turkey (about 1.5 cats for every 10 inhabitants - you will see for yourself).
ATTENTION - it is DANGEROUS to walk near the pool: on the floor there is a stone and some water and there will be grief: it is very easy to slip!

Wi-Fi catches perfectly in the lobby, in the dining room, closer to the pool, it also worked in the room, but the signal is weak, but write to relatives that they flew to friends in the social. networks that life on vacation is wonderful and amazing - there was enough reception. In general, wi-fi - the first floor. The password is clumsily written on the guest book at the reception (mira1234).

As for the staff - they are wonderful, everyone is friendly, always smiling, helping, answering all questions - well done! But they don’t know English, but 2 people speak Russian. There is no animation as such in the hotel (there is one manager - the head of the animators, but there are no animators themselves ... ).

The manager - the director of animators will tell you everything, will offer to go to clubs, play volleyball and do aqua aerobics, and what he doesn’t know, he will tell you about the manager at the Alibaba hotel (real name) and another one - Tom Cruise (the owner of the beach), he says that this is his real name - Tom Cruise (even a business card will give with his photo with a naked torso and full name: Tom Cruise! ).

Also, when you leave the airport, you will be informed on the bus when your guide will meet you, but already at the hotel. We had Omar from TUI. A very pleasant young man. Arrived on the day of check-in at the hotel. I didn't press. Didn't insist. Just told all the features. Answered all questions. Suggested tours. In general - well done.
That is, if you want a minimum of your energy costs and the price of the excursion is not important - then take excursions from a guide from the travel agency with which you arrived, and if you want three times cheaper - take excursions not at the hotel, but from the operator in Kemer (for example, Ginza) , do not take from others (it will be more expensive and worse).

So if the excursions are not from the guide at the hotel, we left the hotel (to the right) 20 meters, crossed the road and the travel agency (a large yellow sign and a beautiful purple tree on the left) under the Ginza license (this is a franchise - look at the sign on top in small print above Ginza it says The name of the company).
If you really want excursions directly from Ginza without intermediaries - do not cross the road and immediately go left to the circle (White Tower) - then go straight to the main street and after 50-100 meters (on the left side) you will find the Ginza central office, where everyone will be scolded their tenants (franchisors) and say that they are all scammers, BUT the prices, which are directly from Ginza, that from the tour operator near the hotel (which is across the road) are 100% the same (we checked). Discounts on excursions are not given (so cheaper than mushrooms). But try it - maybe they will throw off 5 dollars, who knows?

The location of the hotel is very, very good, everything is within walking distance. Everything is very simple: Go to the right - you will come to the center to the White Tower with a 5-minute walk, there is also a bus stop and a central square with fountains nearby, and further past cafes and shops you will get to the port of Kemer. There are many shops. No, even a lot! Any: from jersey to silver. There is everything.
To the left of the hotel there is a beach promenade, a zoo, a city beach, a little to the side (to the right of the city beach) and you are on the street of discos and bars. Don't get lost!

I liked the food in the hotel too! We heard from the living that everything is monotonous - we do not agree. For breakfast: buns - very tasty, cheese of various types, sausage, porridge, boiled eggs, several types of cereal with milk, 3-4 types of jam, rolls with cottage cheese. Around the clock: coffee, tea, juices (juices, by the way, are strange - not for everyone), water in coolers.

At lunch: soups (we didn’t like it), 2-3 side dishes - rice (stunned), pasta (not always tasty), potatoes with chicken or meat ...although someone saw that we caught potatoes from pieces of meat and put ourselves in a plate, and even with a slide! Several types of salads, cucumber-tomatoes, eggplant, stuffed zucchini, carrots, chicken always. The most delicious kefir in the world! Kefir is simple and kefir with grass (tarragon for sure, I don’t know the second grass).
At dinner, there was also soup, but it was different (again, we didn’t like it)! The choice of hot dishes also changed.

What was missing - there was no fish ( there wasn’t at all! ) And the sweet table was not very pleased: basically the same thing - apples, oranges, lemons, cookies, toast and something similar to bird's milk (green, red and white , white - the most delicious).

In general, you won’t stay hungry (by the way, if you were taken to the beach to Tom Cruise, don’t worry: for lunch and dinner you will be delivered on time - checked! )

ALCOHOL - before wine in Turkey, when "all inclusive", it was just shmurdyak. But it helped well to speed up digestion - you can barely reach the number! Right now the pool bar had wine (white and red: 2 liter bottles), vodka, whiskey, their local raki vodka (not raki, namely: raki) and beer.

To make everything tasty - do not take red wine (blend), but white with sprite - class or take crayfish with sprite or cola - also good or beer and lemon in the dining room and in beer - just the taste of the Crown (who knows). The bad thing is that portions (doses) are just like for children (although young people somehow manage to get drunk from these doses). Before dinner, no more than 2 glasses were in hand (we wanted 4 beers at once - they didn’t give it, we had to take turns taking 2 glasses for each). In general, alcohol is free until 22h, and then we don’t know. Buying alcohol from the bartender (for example, a bottle right away) is unrealistic (do not waste time).

BEACH - someone will say that this is a minus, but we say a plus. Look: the city beach (free of charge) from the hotel to the left past the Crystal Hotel through the beautiful Kugulu Park. But there are only pebbles! There are places with sun loungers, but assigned only to other people's hotels Crystal and Grand Haber!
So with your hotel bracelets - only on pebbles, but I tell you, it's good only for yogis. Yes, what kind of yogis are there - they lay down on towels and bruises immediately on their arms and legs. You can’t move at all - lie in one position. The pebble is large. You can walk to the water without shoes only once - only crying back! But you can buy fashionable bathing slippers for $ 4, but it’s still not convenient to swim in them - they fall off (and we saw such slippers only for women, but what about the rest? ). Also on the city beach there are pontoons from which you can dive. But they are again assigned only to other people's hotels Crystal and Grand Haber! The sea itself is amazing! Pure. You can see every stone. But the depth immediately! Fish (as in Egypt - no). I see they have a problem with fish in general. Toilet near the beach in the bar - free of charge. A beer at the bar for $4. And now the beach is away from the hotel: the pebbles are softer! This is a plus.

The beach itself from the hotel actually does not belong to the hotel, but to Tom Cruise (not that Tom, but Turkish). The beach is 1 km from the hotel (in the direction of Antalya, 15-20 minutes, until you see the sign "Veranda beach". ). But you don’t have to go anywhere - there is a transfer from the hotel (a bus or taxi, if this is not there either, Tom Cruise will come and take you to the beach himself). This is another plus. This beach has sun loungers with a mattress, umbrellas and loose sand! This is another plus. Closer to the water - pebbles. And for all this (transfer (round trip), sunbeds, sand, umbrellas, toilet and Tom Cruise) only 1 dollar. For this amount, you can come to the beach in the afternoon. This is another plus. There is no food on the beach - only freshly squeezed orange juice (1 dollar or 3 liras). There are ashtrays - you can smoke. And there is wi-fi. Now it's free - then it will be on the dollar.
The owner himself - Tom Cruise - is a unique type: he speaks good Russian and is not boring, but he makes very loud music and bathes very loudly, like: the sea-bomb and Tagil rules, however, we told him: calm down and everything was fine . His daughter (a spitting image) speaks Russian very well. In general, do not go to the free city beach with pebbles, but for $ 1 to the beach from the hotel to Tom Cruise - go!

Beach towels are issued at the hotel on a deposit of $ 5 a piece (issued by Alibaba) and every 2 days can be changed for free for fresh ones. When you check out, hand over the towels and get your $5 back for a towel.

NIGHT LIFE in Kemer is not as diverse as in Cyprus or Marmaris, but there is a place for those who like to dance)).

At the moment, 3 clubs should already be working, they are located 5 minutes walk from the hotel. You can go there on your own or with the help of animators - they will bring you there by car.
In general, the entrance to the clubs is free for girls, but sometimes there are concerts of famous Russian and Turkish performers, then the entrance is about 10 dollars. The system in the clubs is actually incomprehensible: the entrance is really for everyone 5 dollars, but you can still get in for free only with the help of animators (a table is fixed for the group, and you can’t do without buying a cocktail, and the prices bite). It is better to come to the clubs around midnight, earlier you will see only an empty dance floor, unless, of course, you want to be the opening act)), then you can do without buying alcohol).

Opinions of tourists (info from last year):

* Aura club, where there are 11 bars, several restaurants of different cuisines, which does not fit well with the all-inclusive system in hotels ....that is - why buy expensive AFTER, if you can BEFORE and for free??!!!

)) you can get there through the animators ...give a table where as a gift there were sliced fruits and one free cocktail (the most disgusting))) the music rumbles and ...no one ...there is nowhere to dance, only tables ...

*Entrance to Kristall for girls is always free. This club, built in 2011 by Russian businessmen, has already gained an excellent reputation and is considered a very high level institution. It looks more like a complex than a club, which includes a disco, restaurants of Russian, Japanese and Italian cuisines and a karaoke bar. The audience, respectively, Russians mostly. Clockwork dances of go-go girls, the music is excellent, foam parties are also arranged

* "Inferno" is another famous club, it can accommodate up to 3500 people. The music here is cool, with some Turkish motive, but club.
But there are only Turks among the people, Turkish stars often come here, then the entrance is either paid for everyone, or for the Turks for free, it’s not clear ...

* Night club "Rai Club Kemer". It is located in the Moonlight Park, not far from the center of Kemer. The club is large enough to accommodate up to two thousand people in one evening. This club is distinguished by the fact that it hosts amazing shows: laser shows, dances with fire. It seems like in the season it should be free for girls.

Any form of clothing in clubs)) someone dances on thin stilettos and in an evening dress with a neckline ...someone in ordinary sarafans ...someone in general in a beach T-shirt, shorts and slates ...so don’t bother too much, in principle, who and why does he go: someone - to show himself, someone - just to dance from the heart.

How convenient it is to live in the center - everything is within walking distance!

In addition to the beach, swimming pool and relaxing in clubs, you can take independent walks around the city and its environs.
There are places to go in Kemer where you can take beautiful photos.

But why go then? On every corner, every 100-150 meters, electric 3-wheeled 2-seater motsyki are rented. Just a miracle. One button and off you go. The charge lasts for 3 hours. Speed up to 40 km per hour. It costs 3-4 dollars per hour. Our forecast is this - you will take it for the first time (it is very easy to drive) and then every day 2 times a day you will take these three-wheeled bikes to drive! In general, motsyki to rent to EVERYONE! The wife drives, the husband is in the back seat. The only way!

WHAT TO SEE IN KEMER CITY:

* To the left of the hotel on the road to the city beach is KUGULU PARK (between the Grand Haber hotel and its beach). It is also called "Swan Park". The park is small, but very cozy and beautiful, with flowering trees and shrubs, with beautiful views of the sea. Here you can relax in the shade of trees on numerous benches.
There is a mini zoo and man-made ponds with fish and swans swimming in them. . take some bread with you, feed the animals. There is a peacock - such a beautiful one. Also in this park, you should definitely take a picture at the statue “Tenderness and Love” (it looks like two aliens), dedicated to all lovers and make a wish, of course, about love . . and it will definitely come true!

* In the very center of Kemer (to the right of the hotel) is the CENTRAL SQUARE.

There is a beautiful White Clock Tower (the clock lives its own life and shows its time as it wants), a monument to Ataturk, the first president of Turkey, as well as fountains with a secret loved by many adults and children. The secret of the fountains of the central square of Kemer is that their jets begin to beat quite unexpectedly and from different points. There is a restaurant on the 3rd floor of the White Tower. There is no lift.
It is not necessary to get drunk on $ 200 there - you can go (better during the day, closer to sunset) and buy a coffee or a shake for $ 3-4 (although this is not a shake, but a smoothie) and make 100 thousand cool photos.

* LIMAN DZHADESI - pedestrian street of Kemer. Here you can run around the shops, buy souvenirs for yourself. Note - you can’t ride motorcycles (see above) along this street - you can drive up from intersections - leave, walk, and then pick up your electric driver. On the bike, by the way, it’s also impossible - the street is pedestrian. Why are there souvenirs - you can buy everything: from panties to silver (that is, everything, everything! ).

Separately, we draw your attention to the fact that high-quality fakes (such as Adidas as it is, and not Abidas) cost about half the cost of the original in the store, but if the item is of high quality, only the Turkish company will always be indicated, that is, if the fake is average quality or closer to good, and if the quality is good and higher - no fashion labels and it will be written that this is Turkey! Bargain everything and always. You tell them in Russian, Ukrainian, English and obscene - they like you in Russian and Turkish and 5 percent in English (OK and NO PROBLEM) and the price from $ 350 for a leather jacket will be from 125 to 175 approximately. IMPORTANT - if you really want a specific discount on a thing - take 2-3 (like yourself and something else) and then it becomes really easier to get a discount. For example, a leather jacket for myself and plus a sheepskin coat for a worm (my brother's daughter is 2 years old) - and the total discount was 60% of the original price.
And another SECRET - if you are the first buyer (it does not matter, for the day or the first in the evening) you can offer the price that you are willing to pay (the chance is high to buy just for the price that you want). SEPARATELY: if you overpay somewhere, don’t be upset: a tourist who has not been deceived is not a tourist!

* OLBIA PARK - located on the coast of the city near the port. The central point of this Kemer park is an elegant fountain, which is nice to sit on a hot day. You can visit numerous cafes. ATTENTION - in some instead of tables there are Big Beautiful Cars of all colors and stripes and in the middle there is a table. This is class! Haven't seen this anywhere else. You can drink a refreshing cocktail and try a hookah. Mediterranean greenery, graceful ponds and bridges - all this makes the park one of the most popular holiday destinations.

* PORT MARINA - here you can go to admire the white sailboats and the most beautiful yachts from different countries.
At the entrance to Marina Kemer rises an arch made in the style of ancient Greek architecture. But they don’t let you into the port itself, you can only go around and then get inside (but they don’t let you in 99%).

* MOONLIGHT PARK is located next to the port. In this Kemer park, entertainment programs are organized, animators work, and numerous cafes and bars are open. There are also two swimming pools - for adults and children, as well as tennis courts. Here you can sunbathe and splash in the sea and bask on the sand. We don’t know if there is a paid entrance to the beach or not, we received different information. In last year's reviews, entrance and sunbeds are free, others say that the entrance is $ 4, and they also say that if you buy something in a cafe, you can use the services of the beach for free. We didn’t go there to sunbathe, so we don’t know what the truth is)). We know for sure - the toilet is free.

* There is a DOLPHINARIUM next to this park.

Performances are held every day at 12 and 16 hours. The Kemer Dolphinarium is notable for the fact that the pool is 5.5 meters deep and has glass side walls about a meter high. This arrangement of the pool provides an opportunity to better see the dolphins. After the show, there is an opportunity to take pictures with the smart inhabitants of the sea, as well as swim with them.

Entrance tickets cost $19 per person. There is an opportunity to swim with dolphins, although this pleasure costs $ 110 per person for 5 minutes (last year's prices, this may be subject to change).

* YORUK PARK is located right next to the waterfront. Entrance 2 lira or 1.5 dollars. This park of Kemer is unusual primarily because it is a real living open-air museum. And its name "Yoryuk", meaning "nomad", speaks for itself - the way of life of the ancient nomadic tribes of Asia is recreated here.
In Yoruk you can see the tents, utensils and workshops of nomads, and you can also taste real Turkish food cooked according to old recipes. NOTE - none of the locals know about this museum - asking how to get there is useless.

Sometimes gozleme cakes are prepared (prepared from thinly rolled dough with various fillings and baked in a dry convex frying pan), but the price is 8-9 lira for one!! ! The park is small, located on a mountain, very beautiful photos are obtained from there. By the way, shawarma - 10 lire. Ice cream cone (McDonalds) - 1.5 lira. Orange juice - at least 3 lira.

WHERE TO GO ON YOUR OWN IN THE SUBURBAN OF KEMER:

Also, in addition to the electric scooter, you can take a bike and ride around the area. But there are bike paths only in the city itself in the center, and somewhere you can ride, somewhere not, otherwise you will run into a fine - now the fine is about $ 100 (by the way, for drunk driving - the fine is the same).
Note - at the exit from Kemer, the road does not go along the beaches - but past the hotels. On the other hand - just a track - DANGEROUS!

But there is an interesting option - you get to the port (everyone doesn’t know what Port is or no one knows what Port is, but everyone knows it as Marina), then to the right and towards the mountains and then behind the last hotel there will be something like a highway health (about a kilometer long) back towards the city, an asphalt path in a pine forest! Oxygen - 99.9%! Fresh air, the smell of pine needles ...(those who watched The Addams Family will understand the joke ... ).

By the way, it's raining in Turkey! Yes, it happens that the neighboring house across the road is not visible. But usually it is either cloudy, but hot or not a single cloud and heat ...
* JUST MOUNTAINS - the easiest way (closest) from the center of Kemer on the circle in front of the White Tower to the right and straight - straight - straight (go - you won’t get there, but drive for about fifteen minutes) past the mosque (on the right) and eventually cross the highway (DANGEROUS) and again straight-straight-straight across the bridge and to the right of you the bank of a mountain river will begin - beauty! Weird pics. But VERY steep slopes of the road and sharp turns. Recommendation - to get to the waterfall: look, be stunned, quietly turn around and back to Kemer.

* TOROS MOUNTAINS. From almost anywhere in Kemer, you can see the Turkish flag mounted on a nearby peak. From there, a magnificent view of the resort villages of Kirish, Camyuva and Kemer itself with all its beaches and hotels, from a bird's eye view, it is recommended to take binoculars with you to see everything to the smallest detail. Better by car or ATV - you can also ride a bike, but it will be hard to go uphill.
It is better to climb the mountain in the morning or after 4 pm, it will not be so hot. You need to walk from the center towards Kiris (ask any local for directions), walk for 20-25 minutes to the fork in Kiris and into the mountains. And further up the country road, go up higher and higher... admire the views or sing songs while no one is listening. The journey will take about an hour. The road will lead you to the observation deck, where there used to be a fire station and a radio tower. Here you can take a break, have a bite to eat with captured sandwiches, take gorgeous photos, admire the surroundings and the Tahtali mountains, and with a sense of pride in yourself go back, already dreaming of warm sea waves ...

*Another not hackneyed attraction of Kemer is BELDIBI CAVE. It is located at a distance of 16 kilometers from Kemer (northern direction), but it feels further.
The cave is known for the fact that rock paintings of ancient people were discovered here - these are the only petrographers in all of Western Asia that have come down to our times. Moreover, the drawings were made with a special solution of manganese and iron oxide, which gives the images an unusual shade. Here are scenes that reflect the main moments of the life of ancient people. These are magical rituals, hunting, images of the gods. Some of the pictures are about 5.000 years old. Also in the Beldibi cave, archaeologists found the tools of our distant ancestors. The cave was discovered in 1956, and excavations began 3 years later.

Near the cave there is a beautiful WATERFALL, which can be reached through the small river Beldibi and arrange a beautiful photo session. Here you can also see the ruins of the ancient settlement of Phaselis, which existed in the 7th century BC.
And they are located in pine forests and orange-lemon groves, which makes it possible to enjoy clean air filled with essential oils. Here you can also admire the panorama of Beldibi.

Everyone who wants to visit the BELDIBI CAVE should wear comfortable shoes and clothes, as there may be puddles of different depths along the way, and the temperature inside the cave may differ from the temperature outside, take a swimsuit (just in case), suddenly you have to swim across this river.

The BELDIBI CAVE is the easiest to get to - it is located right on the highway. Ride a dolmush (minibus) from Kemer through Beldibi for $3 (but it's better to pay in lira - 25% cheaper), ask to stop at the cave (cave) right after the observation deck in the area of the third (closest to Antalya) tunnel. At this point, the Antalya-Kemer road goes through the newly built tunnel, and Kemer-Antalya along the old road to bypass the mountain just past the cave.
It was said that any bus or minibus driver knows this place very well ....

They asked the driver if he knows where this cave is? He answered yes. Well, we got on the bus Kemer - Antalya, but the next one through Beldibi . . the price to this village is $ 2 ...we drove through all the streets for a very long time, collecting people . . Periodically they asked the driver if we had passed this place, did he remember that he should stop there, because we had no idea where it was ...and he again answered: yes! And so we passed all the hotels, drove onto the highway and it was already very close to Antalya, and then suddenly it turned out by chance that the driver did not know other words, except for this one Russian word - YES! I've heard a similar story somewhere...

NOTE: if you ride marshuka, for example from Kemer to Antalya, the fare costs 8 liras, and if you pay in dollars, they will charge 3.5 dollars. So it’s cheaper to pay in lira on buses.
And in Antalya itself, in order to ride a bus around the city, you need to buy a travel card (about 2 - 2.5 lira per person), sometimes there are no cards at stops - drivers sell (such as a card with two trips of 2 lira for 5 lira or 4 trips for 2 lira for 10 lira), but he won’t take 2 lira to the driver, he won’t let him out of the bus and call the police, so we, not knowing these jokes with cards, entered the bus with 4 lira in his pocket, and the driver he refused to take money on the way out and we urgently found a Russian girl from Kaluga among the 20 passengers of the bus and she paid for us with her card - thank you very much (so we didn’t run away from the bus and the police didn’t catch us, but there was a chance ... ).

*ANTALYA…. it is easy to get to it, take the Kemer - Antalya bus at a stop near the White Tower in the center of Kemer (stop from the side of the White Tower), and drive for about 50 minutes, the trip will cost $ 3.5 (or 8 lira, which is cheaper! ) one way.
In Antalya, you can ask to stay anywhere. All buses and minibuses pass by the Oceanarium and a large Migros supermarket, which is located about 200 meters from the Oceanarium. So if you need to go there, then it will be very convenient to get there.

If you are going back to Kemer from Antalya, then minibuses make a long stop near the Oceanarium and Migras, waiting for customers. Also, in any other place in the city where an express bus to Kemer passes, you can stop it . . so there will be no problems with the road ...and in Turkish buses you pay for the fare at the end of the trip.

ATTENTION: to get to the Oceanarium or Migros - stop opposite (you have to cross the road at the traffic lights) - buses from Kemer do not go directly there (on the other side).

Antalya has many attractions… for every taste: from ruins and museums to shopping malls and discotheques on top of Mount T? nek Tepe.
You can go to the OCEANARIUM, it is large, there are many fish, the cost is about 20 dollars. Tour operators also offer a trip here. We were in the United Arab Emirates in a similar institution - so here we decided not to go to the Oceanarium. By the way, since we didn’t see fish for lunch or dinner at the hotel or in the sea, maybe it will be interesting for someone to go and see the fish (they say it’s beautiful and all the fish from all four seas of Turkey are collected).

MIGROS - why tourists come here - we do not understand. Just an ordinary supermarket with ordinary shops and three-story prices, but for some reason all the locals say that everything is cheaper in it than in Kemer - it's not clear. The only plus is wine for 20-25 lire, against $ 25 per bottle on excursions.

In Antalya, the beach is huge, the pebbles are much smaller than in Kemer ...you could easily just lie on it without bedding, there were none)). There are only Turks on the beach.
Sometimes food is served on the yacht - see what is offered when selling this excursion (with food or not).

On the observation deck (at the top of the elevator) such views are breathtaking!! ! Red brick roofs of houses against the background of the blue sky and the blue sea, ships in the port, ancient fortress walls ...indescribable beauty!!!

You can wander around Kaleichi for hours, there are so many nooks and crannies . . you think to get to one place, but you go out to another! Time seems to stop there...

Separately - along the main street and the last lane to the left is a carpet shop (if you wish) - there are the best handmade carpets produced in three regions of Turkey). Prices - from 300 dollars. But the quality! The owner there is a hereditary merchant, Mr. Murat Baazar. The store is either 50 years old or 100 years old.

The heart of the Old Town is a very beautiful port. Once it was the main port in Antalya.

To protect the city from external enemies, powerful fortress walls were built near the port, which are very well preserved to this day. In our time, the new main pier of Antalya has already been built, but the port in the Old City is operational ...it is now used only for the delight of tourists. It is worth passing by elegant yachts and ships for every taste and size, and you will immediately get a lot of offers to ride along the coast of Antalya, see several waterfalls located nearby ...for 40 minutes 5 dollars ...if you wish, you could ride

*GEYNYUK CANYON...Goynuk is an ancient settlement and resort in the vicinity of Kemer. The distance from Kemer to the Goynuk resort is 7 kilometers. The village and resort of Goynuk is located near the Olympos National Park. One of the most beautiful natural attractions of this resort and Olympos park is the Goynuk river and canyon, which in Turkish means “fertile valley”.
Around this valley are the Turkish Bedaglar Mountains. A river flows from these mountains, creating various gorges and rocks on its way.

You can again get to the canyon by bus to Antalya (the cost will be 1.5 dollars or 3.5 lira - lira is cheaper! ), ask the driver to stop at the canyon. Usually they go out at the Goynuk globe, which stands at the entrance to the village, it can also be seen from the roadway. You need to go along the only road to the mountains, everywhere there are signs "Canyon" - you will not go astray. At first, the path passed by the bed of a dried up river, then turning left, you will see the famous garden of Ali. This is a local restaurant where you can go to drink tea and have a bite. . but it's more interesting from the outside!
You can relax on a bench in the shade of orange trees, admire home-made pumpkin exhibits, read signs in Russian and thanks to Russo-tourists for the trails)) and go further to the goal past the ATV parking lot, and, of course, take pictures while sitting on one of them, for show - we do not know the price. The nature around is very beautiful - herds of goats graze, lemon and orange trees beckon, but the fruits on them are unripe - they are only suitable for juices that local grannies sell right there for $ 1.

The road to the reserve is about 2 km. Entrance to the reserve is paid - 6 lira or 2.5 dollars (cheaper in lira). And then begins an unforgettable hike up the mountain! On the way to the canyon (about 3 km) along the way you will come across various picturesque and unique landscapes, coniferous forests, rich in their clean and cool air and natural silence.
Everywhere there are recreation areas with places for swimming, original bridges made of tree branches, snack bars, benches with tables where it’s so nice to have a bite (don’t forget to take sandwiches and fruits, or what’s more substantial, well, without water anywhere), somewhere below, very far mountain blue rivers murmur . . and if you raise your head - mountains hanging right above the path are leaning over you . . and what bright photos you get here !! ! Particularly fearless, you can walk along the hanging bridge, like in films about the jungle, seeing only a cliff and a blue lake under your feet, however, this is possible for an additional fee and it seems like even with an instructor (did not specify), toilets are equipped along the way.

Finally, here it is - the entrance to the canyon! Those who just wanted to walk along the gorge come back, but you can go deeper inside and reach the waterfalls. To do this, you need to wear a wetsuit.
According to legend, the city was founded in the 7th century BC, its foundation is attributed to the colonists who arrived in these places from the island of Rhodes. There are traces of the emergence of civilizations of the past, their life and fall. The local territories are famous not only for the ruins of the city of Phaselis, but also for their beautiful nature, breathtaking views and many attractions. You can see the ruins of the ancient city in a pine forest. From here, from almost anywhere, you can see the sea through the pine branches.

Most of the ruins of the city of Phaselis, which have survived to this day, are located within the main street. An old avenue, twenty meters wide, connects the northern and southern harbors. On both sides are the ruins of gymnasiums, trading shops, baths. Nearby are the ruins of an amphitheater, climbing to the top of which, you can enjoy the opening panorama of Phaselis.

To get to the indicated place, you need to take the bus from the central square to Tekirov, tell the driver Phaselis Antik, and you will be dropped off right at the entrance to the reserve, the fare is 2.5 dollars. Entrance to the reserve is paid - $ 5, but Sunday is a day off, and as we were told in confidence, you can get into the territory absolutely free! Some 15 minutes walk between the pines, and you will get to the ruins, walk slowly along the ancient streets, look at the inscriptions on the stones, climb the amphitheater, walk between three lagoons, admire nature and views of the sea.

It is better to swim in the South Harbor, on the opposite side of the gate, where the sand is shallow. For lovers of diving, the Central Lagoon is offered, where you can swim with a mask, and if you sail further away, you can see the remains of destroyed walls and many different fish, almost like in the Red Sea!
To travel longer distances, it is better to use the services of agencies. Your right, whether you take them from your operators or on the street. We have always traveled only from street agencies (specifically Ginza). Cheaper by 2 or even 3 times!

EXCURSIONS from Agencies:

When buying a tour - specify how there can be a refund or refusal of the tour at all, the options are different: either you overslept or forgot to pick you up or the bus does not fit, etc. , etc.

WHAT’S BAD on excursions is the Russian-speaking, pointed-nosed, skinny, who don’t know anything with strange gestures, always standing in the aisle with a microphone, telling more about themselves than about the excursion, painted blondes with the Russian name Natasha and guides in general. Everyone is talking about it. Guides, in the general mass - swindlers and liars. They don't know anything. They usually have a bad sense of humor. Hysterics. They can be rude.
There is a possibility that they will tell not what is actually there, but what they read from their own advertising booklets. All stores are scolded except for those where they will take you (they have a commission there of up to 25% of what you buy there). They can deceive you on the cost of additional services (for example, on the cost of the Cleopatra pool, Pamukkale for $ 15 per couple over the price - see below). And exactly upon returning home, all the guides will beg you for money for the driver (they say, such a tradition ... ). True, not all guides are like that, but still - be vigilant! And do not forget the rule: a tourist who has not been deceived is not a tourist! This rule applies not only to shops, but to excursions too!

All excursions are listed in the information booklets. Opposite each excursion you will be shown the price in dollars per person. Booklets can be taken with you.
To be in Turkey and not go to Pamukkale? ! There is an expression in Turkey: Whoever has not been to Pamukkale has not seen Turkey!

Pamukkale in Turkey is a famous natural monument. This place is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. It consists of an ancient volcanic plateau, which is located more than 100 m above the valley. There are a lot of thermal springs here, the temperature in which reaches + 45 ° C, and on the slopes there are many streams that form snow-white travertine terraces due to salts. For a long time, the entire slope was covered with a white coating. Water accumulates in the terraces, forming shallow pools. Here are the most unique hot springs with a large proportion of calcium oxide, which contribute to the treatment of many diseases. We do not recommend swimming in travertines - you will see for yourself and the water is stagnant (the smell is not camille) ....

From everyone (probability 99.
9%) guides will require an additional payment of $ 18 for the Cleopatra pool - but in fact the entrance costs 32 lira ($ 11), so don’t take the nits, oh, sorry, don’t take it from the guide, but you can take it yourself on the spot (if you’re not afraid stand in line when we were - there was no queue at all).

By the way, usually these nits, oh, again, so - these guides do not go with you, but wait before leaving, such a joke ....

There is a belief about Cleopatra's pool that the one who swims in this water will become 30 years younger! . Water is about 35-36 degrees. You put your things in the lockers and swim. Everyone refuses to leave the pool!

In general, EVERYONE should go to the Cleopatra pool! We live once! And here to life plus thirty years or from age minus thirty years ...and only for some 32 lira there ...

It is also IMPORTANT to consider that the total time of the tour is about 3 hours, so divide your time into three parts in the following order:
(1) travertines 20-30 minutes (walk about 500 meters from the main street)

Only in the morning the next day NATOSHAK in the room - and immediately within 2-3 minutes you will begin to look younger and lose weight ...

You can also (should) walk around the ancient city of Hierapolis. In good condition are such historical monuments as the Roman theater, founded in the II century. n. e. The stands of this theater once accommodated up to 15 thousand spectators, there is a picturesque colonnade on the main street, there is also the temple of Apollo, the sanctuary of Pluto with a grotto, the baths of Cleopatra, the gates of the arch of Domitian. Also on both sides of the road there are tombs of different eras - this is a necropolis.
They offer to buy a bottle of wine for $25 (I'll write again - a bottle of wine for $25!!! ). In supermarkets (for example, in the same Kemer in Carefure - such wine costs 20-23 liras, or in Migras in Antalya, about the same within 20-25 liras). In general, decide for yourself, BUT there were cases, they gave nectar for tasting, tourists bought wine for $ 25 right at the tasting, arrived at the hotel - and there was vinegar (cheated, in short)! The Turks themselves shout that pomegranate wine is made only in Turkey, as if they had never heard of Israel, Abkhazia and Armenia. Our opinion: the most delicious Turkish wine is melon wine (smells bad, but delicious!! ! ).

AND ANOTHER - the trip (there) is 6.5 hours, back - about 6 hours, so you may not have time for dinner at the hotel. Therefore, on the road, you MUST take water and a few boutiques. Moreover (see above), you need to draw water from the red tap near the Cleopatra pool into an empty bottle from under the water.
On the trip (back and forth) there will be a visit to a cafe and in front of the entrance on the left there is a real teahouse with a low table and a carpet instead of chairs - we saw only here and photos with such an entourage only from here.

*YACHT TRIP:

They usually offer 2 types of yachts - Pirate ($15) and Viking yacht ($20). Now they offer everything for $10. A yacht trip is a great opportunity to diversify your vacation and enjoy the open spaces of the sea. You can combine swimming with sunbathing - on the upper deck there are places for "felting", and lunch was served in the lower cabin (included in the price - breaded chicken, rice, vegetable salad). IMPORTANT - water and other drinks are paid (so if you have water with you, save a couple of dollars). They show a pirate cave, where a long time ago pirates hid their stolen treasures.
The Kemeri cave is one to one similar to the cave in Alanya, they visit the islands for swimming, for example, the "paradise bay", they are allowed to swim further - the ruins of ancient Phaselis. You can go ashore (for an additional fee of $ 5 you can be taken by boat), who does not want to pay - by swimming (the distance is short). The back program depends on the type of boat and the cost of the excursion: usually discos and usually fun. When mooring from you again I will ask for a tip.

* WORLD - DEMRE - KEKOVA (important - not to be confused with Limira - Demre - Kekova (this is a fake, that is, in Turkey, in addition to fakes of well-known companies, there are also fake excursions !! ! ))

The cost is $25.

The rule to take water with you and a couple of sandwiches or boiled eggs from breakfast remains!

This is one of the most interesting excursions from a historical point of view (a trip to the lands of the ancient state of Lycia, a visit to the ancient sunken city (Fr.
Kekovva) and the Greco-Roman theater (Mira), etc. ) and also this excursion is important from the point of view of pilgrimage (Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker).

It is worth noting a couple of details of this trip that may be useful to you:
- when buying an excursion, ask if there will be a jewelry factory on the way back - because not everyone carries. They sell products from Sultanite (this is a stone with the properties of Amethyst). The average world price for 1 carat is up to $150 (if it is in the green range, the color appears under electric light). So you can buy a good product at about half the price (stone and cut in silver - the ring will cost about $ 45). Sultanite is also sold in jewelry stores in Antalya, but already more expensive by about 25-30%
- I repeat, a couple of sandwiches and water will be indispensable in the first half of the trip and when returning home

- the trip involves a walk on a yacht and there will be a stop where you can swim in the bay, so do not forget to take swimming trunks and towels from the hotel (there is neither one nor the other on the yacht)
- a photographer will take pictures of you on the yacht and upon your return your photos will be waiting for you on the shore in plastic plates (the bottom is transparent, and there you are) and for only 5 dollars (as for me - some kind of dubious souvenir, but from Turkey, Lycia , O. Kekova - decide for yourself)
- when traveling to Kekova, there will be a lot of goats and goats on the slopes (these are not wild creatures from the wild forest) - these are domestic animals, so PLEASE do not yell at the whole bus - LOOK! GOATS!
- also when traveling along this road - there will be charming bends of the mountain road and beautiful bends of bays - take a photo either now or on the way back
- pilgrimage shops will be in 2 places (in front of the Greco-Roman theater (Mira) on the left side along the way towards the theater (2 pcs.

- 35 dollars of bedding, bedspreads (wool + viscose) - only at the Bazaar (see above when it works and how to find it) + there are cotton towels (bedspreads for the beach) for 8-10 dollars: there are none anywhere else
- 20-40 dollars jeans (here it is more difficult - we bought for 20)
- 40-60 dollars good men's shoes (it's also difficult to bargain here)
- 50-60 dollars children's sheepskin coats
- from 50 dollars travel suitcases (there are good ones)

Baklava and all sorts of sweets - look not only for the date when the expiration date expires, but also when it was produced (otherwise they usually do not write), the same goes for tea and coffee

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Going always and everywhere with a passport is NOT required.
When shopping, there is the concept of installments (although not everywhere), for example:
Option (1) - you wanted something on the tour, but there was not enough money - take it, and give the money back at the hotel

Option (2) - in the store, you want something, but it’s expensive, but you don’t have such an amount by yourself - leave the address and they will bring you home and pay on arrival or agree on the date on which you will collect the required amount

It is better to change dollars in big cities - the rate is higher. If you change not a large amount, then you don’t have to worry much (lira is needed in general for transport and entrance to public places: museums, exhibitions, etc. )

The bazaar is open 1 (ONE) once a week - MONDAY. We repeat - only once a week. Other days do NOT work. From the hotel to the right to the road, to the other side and towards the White Tower (not reaching 15 meters on the right there will be a passage to the Bazaar).

Watermelon (half) - 2 lira
Strawberries - 6 lire
Pear (theirs) - 6 lire
Plum (green, sour) - 7 lira
Bananas - 6 lira
Flatbread (bread) - 3 lira
Usually such stores are located near the gas station, that is: there is a toilet, but there are no cigarettes in the store - so go to the gas station and buy a pack of cigarettes at the checkout - about $ 4 (because at the airport in Duty they sell only blocks of 10 packs, one is not buy it, why would you pay at such prices, and even for a block? ! ). By the way, just before entering the airport, the guide accompanying you will also beg for money for the driver (they say, such a tradition ... ), but you don’t need to give him the last dollar - if you haven’t packed your bags, then at the airport - it costs $ 10 and a trolley for things costs 1 euro.

And most importantly: Turkey is not only shopping, although, basically, it is shopping, and at the same time, one should not forget that a tourist who has not been deceived is not a tourist, that is, do not be upset for an overpaid dollar, since the cost of impressions and good mood ( see above) will pay for everything with a vengeance!

Well, something like that, it seems that they wanted - they told ...
Whoever wants, write in a personal - I will give you the details for gratitude (as in Turkey: euros, dollars and, of course, hryvnias are accepted).
