P.S. A guide to the guide, or the future conquerors of Cappadocia is dedicated
Trekking and walking. The most difficult part of exploring the valleys around Goreme is the lack of accurate maps. There are many stitches and additional inputs / outputs that will confuse you. Therefore, it is better from the beginning to tune in to the fact that "lost - lost" will be your constant motto. The main thing is to guess the general direction of movement))
Cartographic and technical sources: map for general orientation, English-language story with maps and route examples, French-language collection of maps from various sources, Russian-language link (use with caution outdated and inaccurate information). I recommend using MAPS on the spot. ME.
Gö rkü ndere Vadisi or the Valley of Love - 2.
The shortest of all valleys and is closest to Goreme (entrance to the local observation deck through it is free). Here you can walk and train in the ascents / descents.
The entrance to the valley is on the right of the road to Gö reme Aç k Hava Mü zesi (Open-Air Museum) and is marked by a concrete sign.
Gü vercinlik Vadisi or Pigeon Valley is one of the most peaceful and shady valleys. It starts with Goreme himself.
You will have to make a "loop" in the area of Uç hisar (Uç hisar), because the direct passage is closed due to the collapse. Note that after the "loop" there will be no indicators, so you need to make sure that the stitches lead you to the descent into the valley, not up (there is no way).
The valley ends with access to one of the most interesting (subjective) observation decks with a view of Uç hisar (Uç hisar) and the valley itself.
See Timko, send warm congratulations
П. S. S. Go around the local cows in a wide arc))
Baglidere Vadisi or the White Valley, which includes Honey ( Honey), Baglidere (White) and the most famous part of Love Valley (Valley of Love - 1), I would start from Goreme.
I would first visit the observation deck and enjoy the view of the Valley of Love - 1, and then return and descend into the valley itself. Then you can walk to the White and Honey parts of the valley. But I do not recommend going to the final ascent to the town of Uç hisar (Uç hisar), because the steep slope there is really dangerous.
Kiliç lar Vadisi or Valley of Swords is most interesting for its first "rock" "a part that has a very mysterious and enigmatic atmosphere.
The entrance to the valley is located above the Gö reme Aç k Hava Mü zesi (Open-Air Museum).
Behind the museum you need an S-shaped road to climb up, and there, to the left of the road will be a concrete signpost to the Valley of the Swords.
Gü llü dere Vadisi or Rose Valley has two spurs, which differ as Gü llü dere Vadisi I (Рожева долина - 1) та Gü llü dere Vadisi II (Рожева долина) - 2). The indicators also include the English version of the name of the valley - Rose Valley.
The two spurs of the first and second Pink Valleys are parallel to each other. In turn, the Rose Valley - 1 has two branches, which eventually converge.
Both Pink Valleys are relatively well marked, with breathtaking views, but the stitch is almost always in the sun (stock up on water during the hot season! ).
Well, if you have a desire to tickle your nerves, you can protest "bobsled" descent of another branch of the Rose Valley 1 .
Meskendir Vadisi or the Meskendir Valley, like the Dove Valley, is not has extreme descents or ascents, rich in shade and mud underfoot))
The entrance to the valley is behind Kaya Camping, where you need to turn left and walk along the wall to the crossroads. The descent into the Meskendir valley is on the right.
From the Meskendir Valley you can start trekking through the Red Valley, both Pink Valleys or go all the way through the Meskendir Valley itself to the neighboring town of Ç avusin (Chavushin).
*** on the map marks my route to the entrance to the Red Valley. If you wish, you can go further to Ç avusin (Chavushin).
Kizilç ukur Vadisi (Red Valley) or Red Valley to pass through several tunnels and ends with access to the most popular observation deck Sunset point.
Interesting, in some places a little steep and the most crowded of all the valleys around Goreme.
Also within walking distance of Goreme is the Zemi Vadisi . You can read briefly about this route here. . You can see the valley in other people's photos by following the link .
There are two valleys / museums behind Chavushin (entrance fee): Valley of the Monks (Pasabag) < / strong> and Zelve Aç ik Hava Mü zesi . But I didn't have enough hours for all of them.
Walking through the valleys can be combined with visits to nearby towns: Uç hisar (Uchisar), Ortahisar (Ortahisar) and Ç avusin (Чавушин).
And remember the main rule of trekking - climb only where you can go down!

Other entertainment includes valley rides on ATVs and horses, dervish shows, and hammams. and balloon flights .
Karadut Cave Hotel . A good hotel that used to be a hostel. Rooms like "cave" or "caves" are the most spacious, cost 19 euros per day (breakfast inclusions).
Breakfasts last from 08-30 to 10-30. Delicious, but monotonous (no meat or sausages in the range). Free 24-hour access to tea / coffee in the dining room.
View of the city from three platforms: the lower one with poufs and decorative tables, the middle one from the dining room and the upper one from the roof of the building. There are no specially equipped places for photo shoots (with pillows and carpets).

About ATMs, supermarket and alcohol store in Goreme wrote at the end of the first part / a>.
Local wine is dry, light and a little tart - ideal for hot summers.

All food in Turkey is hearty and delicious, except that the desserts were very sweet.
During my stay in Cappadocia, there was a quarantine rule "takeaway food", so I did not have to enjoy long gatherings somewhere in the restaurant.
