Advantages:
1. Very cozy and green (immersed in flowers)
2. Nutrition. For me, there is no food for a solid four with a plus of delicacies, but vegetables, fruits, sweets in an unthinkable amount. There is a lot of meat (turkey, chicken, lamb, veal, goose, duck, fish) and you will not be hungry.
3. Clean and tidy rooms (cleaning every day)
Disadvantages:
1. Beach. Lack of a free bar, remoteness (inconvenient) Went to the city (very good)
If you want a very quiet, calm and cozy place without noise and discos until the morning. Then choose this hotel. The overall impression is very warm and good.
A little about the hotel
Pros:
1. beautiful well-groomed territory
2. delicious and high-quality cuisine. The variety in food for lunch and dinner is quite OK. A lot of meat, fish, greens, cheeses, olives, delicious sweets. Breakfast is fed up, but this is a standard moment on All incl. There is delicious ice cream, normal snacks in the middle of the day.
My husband and I and a child (1 year and 7 months old) ate completely from the common table and there were no problems with housing and communal services, which is very important for parents with such babies.
3. drinks are good. There is a normal dry wine, beer, mojito. Good coffee is prepared in the lobby bar.
4. convenient location. Close to the public beach, the lagoon can be quickly reached (7 minutes) / if desired, walk in 30 minutes. The city can be reached by bus in 40 minutes.
5. the staff is quite friendly.
A cheerful, kind girl Gul (Rose) works in the mini club, who immediately earned the love of our little baby.
6. if there are free rooms, there should be no problems with early check-in. We were checked in at 7:30 am
7. blablabla
......
Minuses:
There are very few of them, in my opinion.
1. I didn’t catch the Internet in the room (it catches well near the pool, in the restaurant).
2. spaghetti and scrambled eggs are very fatty (although this is a matter of taste)
In short, I advise everyone this hotel and this period (late May - early June) for relaxation.
Rested with a friend in this hotel from May 2 to May 16.2017. Drive from Dalaman airport to the hotel (with stops at other hotels) an hour and a half. Since we arrived at the very beginning of the season, the hotel was about a third full. Settled without problems. True, the suitcase porter (who also delivers newcomers to their place of residence) initially offered a room on the first floor, but after we said that the voucher had a wish (specified when buying the tour) that it was NOT the first floor, he offered room on the third floor. The room turned out to be a family one: one double bed, two full beds in a bunk bookcase and a sofa. They remained in it. The room is quite spacious with a balcony. Although there are screens on the windows, there were mosquitoes in the room.
Kettle (tea, coffee, sugar, dry cream), refrigerator, medium-sized TV (plasma), air conditioning, hair dryer are present. Safe for a fee, after payment they give out the key to the lock of the safe (although the safe has a combination lock that did not work). The room lock is electronic (with a plastic card). The bed mattresses and pillows are normal, “not killed”, the linen is clean. The bathroom is large, with a shower, a bit inconvenient that the shower head without a hose is fixed overhead. Towels were changed daily.
The hotel is not new but is kept in a fairly good and clean condition. The territory is very green, all in flowers, the aromas in the evenings are just awesome! Does the singing of birds, especially in the morning, make you think that you are in paradise? !
The food is excellent, from 7-30 to 24-00! Fish, meat, cheeses, soups, vegetables, olives, greens in many different variations have always been in the main restaurant for lunch and dinner. For breakfast, fish and meat were absent, they were replaced by sausages, several types of yogurt, muesli, honey in combs, eggs in various preparations, cheeses, vegetables, herbs, pancakes. Fruit was always present. And the confectionery is a separate song, a lot of everything and different-beautiful-delicious...
From alcohol we tried wines and various cocktails (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), very decent. The coffee at the bar near the reception is excellent…
The snack bar helped out more than once when it was too lazy to come from the Blue Lagoon for lunch...
Evening animation in the hotel is good, invited groups are interesting, not boring.
The hotel staff is friendly and speaks mainly English and Turkish. With a very minimal knowledge of English and with the help of gestures (or with a mobile translator), you can always reach a point of understanding.
To swim, swim, sunbathe, we went / went to the beach of the hotel in the Blue Lagoon. Upon arrival, in early May, the water in the Laguna was 21-22 degrees, and in mid-May it had already warmed up to +23 degrees.
The beach of the hotel in the Blue Lagoon was very pleasant. Quiet beautiful place, green cut grass, olives, pines, flowering trees. Near the water - a strip of sandy area. There is a rental of catamarans. The territory of the beach is conditionally divided by a path into a beach for adults and a beach for vacationers with children. There is also a beautiful VIP zone, we went there to take pictures.
The bottom in the Laguna is sandy, clean, sometimes you can see starfish and sea cucumbers at the bottom. Flocks of fish are permanent inhabitants of the coastal zone. A couple, a drake and a duck, strolled imposingly between the beachgoers. A couple of times we saw small land turtles a little further from the sun loungers...
Sun loungers and umbrellas on the hotel beach in the Blue Lagoon are free for hotel guests, the bar is paid. Therefore, they took fruits (pears, apples, oranges) and a 1.5 liter bottle of water from the restaurant with them to the beach. From the main restaurant, if necessary, you can take food, as well as from bars drinks in glasses / glasses - there was no ban...
On the municipal beach (open sea) umbrellas and sun loungers are paid, small and medium pebbles on the shore. The water in the open sea is colder, so they still preferred the hotel beach in Laguna to this beach.
A free bus takes tourists to Laguna and back on time, the children of the bus driver called "Captain Ali". Drive 7-10 minutes. And if on foot, then at a calm walking pace with photo pauses, it turns out 45-50 minutes.
From the excursions we took:
- a trip to catch crabs on the Dalyan River + thermal pool and mud;
- Kaputas-Kash-Patara;
- cruise on a boat on six islands;
- boat trip to the island of St. Nicholas for sunset.
All liked it!!!
We planned to go down from Mount Babadag by paragliding with an instructor, but this time it did not work out.
We were in Fethiye three times on our own: acquaintance with the city and shopping. We visited Kidrak beach.
Summing up, we can only say - we were very satisfied with the HOTEL, LOCATION, NATURE! Vacation was a success!
We hope to come back here again!! !
1. Shuttlebus takes people to their beach in the lagoon only before lunch, after lunch only from the lagoon... Complete nonsense....Brings people to the hotel and goes to the empty lagoon. You need to beg the driver not to take a taxi. Or you need to arrive in the morning and stay until the evening without lunch....I would like the hotel to review its rules for delivering tourists to the beach, since many tourists come to the sea and not sit near the chlorinated pool.
2. "We speak Russian" is nonsense, as soon as they hear Russian or Ukrainian dialect, they immediately start to freeze... unless a tip helps to figure out what's what... You need to know at least a little English.
3. Small area
Pros:
The food is good, the area is blooming, the hotel is like in a garden, beautiful views of the mountains, the hotel beach is warm and super for children, a couple of minutes to the public beach, you just need beach shoes, pebbles hit with big waves, it hurts your legs. On the way to the beach there are many cafes and tour agencies for paragliding. Very satisfied with the ex-Sky Sports agency, had an interesting time with them, showed the best places of local attractions, they speak different languages, they have very good paragliding masters, and the prices are much cheaper than tour operators.
In general, despite the minuses, we liked the rest, we will come again...
