"Seketur" is really a neat, good-quality three-ruble note for not very demanding tourists with a particularly good location relative to the beach and the main street (from where it is easy to take a minibus to a large supermarket "Kipa" or Fethiye). As for the especially helpful servants - I don’t agree - they smile stiffly until they figure out that you are an “ex-USSR” (despite your decent English), dull girls at the reception after asking where we (Lithuania / Belarus) are from, even see us to the room they didn’t, they put the key in - that’s all the “polites”, we ourselves had to struggle with luggage in the 2nd building (the one overlooking the sea) and call the reception to explain the principle of connecting electricity (you had to insert the key fob into a special connector near the outlet, then the electricity turns on).

But since this is not 5 and a half stars, and it is by no means millionaires who choose such hotels (and the staff knows this), we did not expect special respect. By the way, unlike Kemer and Antalya, local Turks do not bend a bit to tourists, they speak decent English, behave very restrainedly and demand restraint and respect from customers. . I didn’t even manage to bargain at the stalls and mini-markets : (. Speaking of Seketura - from the minuses - poorly washed bed linen and bedspreads (who, when and with what they smeared - the stains weren’t particularly steamy to wash), purely symbolic quality of cleaning (although clean towels were brought in every day and the beds were made their own way, no matter how carefully you made them to your liking. ) The shower had a life of its own - adjusting the water temperature to a comfortable temperature was a matter of pure luck, otherwise - either scream under boiling water or chatter your teeth in a second about a stream of icy water. You won’t wait for extra soap or state-owned shampoo. But in general - a neat standard room with a "foreign" ORT on TV, with a spacious balcony, a view of the sea and a garden, we were satisfied. By the way, the day before departure, we were asked to leave a packed breakfast at the reception - in the morning we were handed tiny rolls of foil, in which we found pieces of a dried loaf without a drop of oil and with skinny lumps of weathered cheese and chemical oh sausages. They ate it out of greed. . . sorry : (. I will not repeat myself, all the disadvantages are more than covered by the proximity to the beach, 2 minutes - and you are splashing in the turquoise warm waves. The beach is decent (of course, there is rubbish thrown around, and there are a lot of cigarette butts in the sand), but you can not rent sunbeds, because. to. coating - a mixture of coarse sand with very small pebbles - comfortable and not a beach towel. Not very crowded, there is always a "place in the sun". The contingent is foreigners (English, Germans, Balts and local Turks), mostly decent mature couples or families with children, a very good choice for those looking for a relaxing romantic getaway. Previous commentators mentioned a hotel bar with loud music on the territory - as if a side business of the owners, yes, music is heard until one in the morning, this should annoy guests with small children, but, oddly enough, we were even pleased with the selection of music - high-quality pop , light retro, soft rock, lyrical ballads, evening gatherings on the balcony were accompanied by pleasant, not annoying musical accompaniment. The food was not bad, we had breakfast - dinner (half board), I will not list the assortment (this has already been written a lot and I will only have to repeat because the menu has not changed much), I will only add that the variety of fruits and herbs may depend on the month. We regularly got a ripe watermelon for dinner every evening (oh, the minke whales were gorged), for breakfast - not a single apple or grape, but in both meals - a sea of u200bu200bfresh herbs (from parsley to all kinds of salad greens and arugula) and fresh vegetables. Desserts are traditional syrup-soaked biscuits, pies or puddings. Drinks at dinner - for a fee. The manager seemed very polite, helpful, talkative and with decent English. No crushing and shoving or "elbow work" near the buffet, everything is decorous and civilized. So "Seketour" can be safely chosen by democratic and not hysterically demanding tourists with basic English, who clearly understand that the hotel will work its 3 stars in good faith, but you will not squeeze more out of it.

Impressions are ambiguous. And the hotel seems to be good, the staff pleasant, nature and sea. A rest for a triple, everything spoils the noise. If the windows face the road, then in general people sleep only with the windows closed, which is quite possible to do at home. And if you are lucky and have windows to the garden, then from morning until night the music in the bar yells, and it is especially rollicking closer to midnight.

From morning until late at night, music is blaring in a bar located in the center of the territory. It is noisy even in those rooms that have windows on the road. In addition to transport, there is also an open karaoke bar hotel "Remer" across the road. For those who prefer to drink beer in this corner of the world, sleep with closed windows or not sleep at all, and also for those who believe that the best rest is a bar! The owners of the hotel, apparently, think and count that way.

We stayed 10 days in this hotel. Unfortunately, a good impression of the rest was spoiled due to dishonesty or negligence (I suppose the first one) of the staff at the reception: when checking out from the hotel, we were presented with an invoice for using the safe, which we had already paid for upon arrival! And since another shift (night shift) was on duty at that time, a young man answered our objections that our payment was not displayed on the computer.

And since another shift (night shift) was on duty at that time, a young man answered our objections that our payment was not displayed on the computer. It is clear that there was no time to find out the reasons - the bus to the airport was waiting for us, we had to pay... As far as I have heard, this is a very common practice. I advise you to be careful! : )

The hotel is in Spartan style, everything is minimal, the rooms are simple, there is no refrigerator. They clean every day, change the linen, I don’t remember in what order, most likely 2-3 times a week. There is a pool, but you need to borrow sunbeds in the morning. All in Turkish and English. The food is not to say that it is too scarce, but it cannot be called diverse either, the breakfast is simple - eggs, vegetables, etc.

The hotel area is small. Since we needed a quiet place, and then we ourselves went and went wherever we wanted, we did not notice any special shortcomings, the hotel is like a hotel, which is needed so that there is a place to eat, wash and sleep. Permanent presence in it is rather undesirable.

Not the first time in Turkey. This hotel is very different from the usual Turkey, but in general this region. There are very few compatriots, a lot of Turks and Germans. The location is excellent: you leave the hotel - 10 meters and the sea, although the hotel and the sea are separated by a small pedestrian zone. The room is a little dilapidated, but quite tolerable for the money that we paid for the ticket, it will do just fine. Of course, if you look at the little things, you can ruin your vacation... we are not pretentious, then that the shower water got on the tiles, then that there was something similar to mold - little things, especially since we only slept in the room. The air conditioner worked fine. They would have given money not at the reception, maybe they would have received the same set, only with a quieter side . . it was inconvenient to open the windows . . noisy . . because they went out into the street, where transport periodically shmanul. Slept with closed windows, but with air conditioning. The room was on the first floor in the main building.
Meals were breakfasts and dinners. Breakfasts are the same as everywhere else: scrambled eggs, eggs, cheese, sausage, buns, yoghurts, crunches, in general, nothing special. They weren't hungry. Dinner - frankly speaking, fig dinners . . I had enough, but my husband left hungry... You approach the cook, pours soup, knows the word "soup" and reacts joyfully. You can take supplements. Vegetables: cucumbers, tomatoes. Salads: 4-5 or something similar to salads, such as beans in sauce or cold pasta with some kind of sauce. Well, very scarce: watermelon or grapes. That is, it seems like you can choose something . . but it’s not satisfying and not interesting... What kind of sunsets are there !! ! It's worth going there for them. You can sit at dinner and watch the sun go down as the dining terrace is open.
After dinner we went for a walk along the promenade. Along the same pedestrian zone. It turns out that hotels go on the left, then the embankment and the sea. On the first floors of hotels, tables are usually set up and restaurants open to visitors. So in our hotel it was possible to dine for $ 10, in other hotels the same system. That is, you walk along the embankment - go to any restaurant at the hotel and treat yourself to a buffet for the price indicated on the plate.
The sea. . . not the same as in Croatia, Montenegro - not the Adriatic in its color and transparency, not the same as the Black Sea, not the same as the Red . . not at all the same as in Side, Kemer or Alanya. Absolutely different. It is green, cloudy, slightly oily. But don't let that scare you, because it was the Chalysh turtles who chose this region to lay their eggs... well, would they breed in a dirty place? So feel free to swim, the sea is normal.
Do not take excursions from your guides, from Tez it is 2 times more expensive. We took a tour of Sakklikent in jeeps on the street (for those who do not speak English, the option is not suitable). That one was extreme! Take umbrellas with you and be ready from the moment you get into the jeeps. I won't say what will happen, but you can guess. The tour was awesome, you won't regret it. It cost us $20 per person and that included meals! The second excursion was taken on a boat through the bays: $ 13 per person with meals on the ship. For example, for the thesis, only the move costs $ 20. Knowledge of English on this tour will be useful, but not required. Walk along the embankment, ask around for prices, we found the cheapest at FOCUS, you can find it even cheaper. They said there is another company LION, maybe even cheaper. We saw their stand, but it was far from us and did not approach them, since the tour program was already over and we were just relaxing on the sea.
We went to the city of Fethiye itself, at prices a little more expensive than everything we have in Calis. Cheap orange juices. A very interesting fish market, you can go to choose a fish and it will be cooked right there. Even next to the market for the smell, you can go to the "coffee grinder". We took some coffee, not like in Istanbul, but also quite decent, brought home.
If we had more days, we could go to Oludeniz a couple more times, the water in the sea there is turquoise, not transparent, but like milk.
Conclusions: it is worth going to see the new Turkey, go on excursions. Very interesting secluded place. The hotel itself is good. . but the food will not please those with children or those who like a variety of delicious food.

I rested with my family at the end of July 2010. The hotel is quite 3 *, do not expect anything special from it, but the towels are changed in the rooms and cleaned every day, there are no insects, there were no interruptions in hot water either. There is air conditioning, only with night modes of the problem, I could not find the optimal one - either you freeze, or it’s stuffy, but during the day it’s salvation. It was easy to do without a refrigerator, since there are shops nearby and you can often buy cold water (we drank it a lot). Of the Russians, there is Channel 1 on TV, but after a couple of days he got stupid programs, so they only occasionally watched the news in the evenings. They feed. . . well, for an amateur. The menu is not particularly diverse, cheese, feta cheese, sausage, hard-boiled eggs, and all sorts of salads, olives, muesli, 2 types of diluted juices, tea or coffee in the morning, in the evening - one main course (maybe meat, chicken or fish or just baked eggplant), well, 15 appetizers without limit, only one warning - if your body cannot tolerate vinegar or pepper, you will be half-starved, because the chef generously puts it in almost everything. Well, with fruit, not very good either - they give one thing in the evening (mostly watermelons). Drinks in the evening (as elsewhere in the West) are paid, but we just took mineral water with us. During the day we dined in restaurants, of which there are an unmeasured number, then we settled on one called "Harem", however this is also an amateur, prices are almost the same everywhere and the cuisine is similar. Without any special frills for 4 (with beer or wine) it cost 80-90 lire (1600-1800 rubles). Everywhere there is a children's menu, without spices, chicken soup and french fries with chicken, lamb or fish, pancakes and all sorts of desserts - the child will be pleased. You can forget about pork - it simply wasn’t there, after all, Muslims. Recoption - discreetly polite, I almost didn’t have to contact them, the only thing was that they settled on the 3rd floor, a room overlooking the road, they promised to move in 5 days - overlooking the sea, but then we didn’t go ourselves - our room was on the east side and the sun appeared in it only in the morning, and the rest of the time it was not hot, which for a midday siesta is just salvation. In addition, eucalyptus trees grew behind the road and provided shade. In the mornings, the dogs yelped intensely, and so - there was not much noise. There were a lot of Russians and Turks in the hotel (about 50/50). Therefore, the opinion that Fethiye is not very mastered by Russians is erroneous, compatriots are at every turn. About excursions. . . in the evenings, guys from the Tez-tour are constantly grazing in the lobby, so you can pick up something, the only thing is that their prices bite, besides, they really like to include visits to all kinds of carpet factories, jewelry workshops, etc. (it spends a lot extra time and there is an obsessive offer to buy something), so we took excursions from the locals, there are 1.5 times cheaper - only in English. language, but this is not a particular problem, and they don’t tell much, if you wish, you can find much more on the Internet. I liked Tlos with its ruins, but Saklikend did not make an impression - it was crowded and not enough, but, again, not for everyone. 3 times we went to Fethiye ourselves, climbed to the Lycian tombs, the ruins of the Crusader fortress and the Greek amphitheater, as well as to Kiyakyu (dead city). One piece of advice - immediately drive home-grown local guides in the neck, they will say a few words, poke a couple of stones and start begging for money for a "wonderful excursion" and in general ask the locals for information very carefully, the people are still the same and there are enough people who want to spend money, however there were pleasant exceptions. We also went to the beach in Oludeniz (there is beautiful, clean and, if desired, you can jump with a parachute with an instructor - even teenagers). The sea in Chalysh itself is dirty, and in the evening (and not only) bunches of sea kale often sailed, again, if you swim a little further, this is not there. But there are few people and no one interferes with anyone. I remember Muslim women's bathing suits) and in general there were no top-less people who wanted to sunbathe (compared to Croatia). A breeze blew almost all the time and the sea was not often calm, well, of course, the waves do not overwhelm you, but the surf takes place. But it’s nice to sunbathe - it blows. The beach is free, sunbeds and umbrellas are 3.5 liras each (about 70 rubles) The hotel has a swimming pool and it’s quite decent - 25 meters in length and a depth of half 1.9m, half 1.4m, so lovers of fresh water can swim , only it is better to do it either at 8 am, or already at 6-7 pm, there are few people and you can jump from the side. There is also a children's section, so it's convenient for parents, by the way, the children at the hotel were decent. Fans of discos and entertainment in Calis will be bored, but I recommend it for those who want to relax. Of course, you don’t want to go there the second time, but once you can.

Previously, he debauched the entire coast from Alanya to Kekov (Mira). Seketur, though 3 stars, but everything is 100%. A large, very green area cannot be compared with others; there is an excellent promenade along the coast. No animators very cozy and calm, the panorama from the room and the restaurant to the 12 islands of the bay. Very beautiful around the place - Dalaman with a unique lake (warm healing springs), a river (water trams float) and a turtle clean beach, 45 km by car ($ 30) or dolmushka. Oludeniz - the blue lagoon (bay) - you will not regret it, a unique reserve place. From Fethiye 15 minutes on Dolmushka or by car along the coast there are a lot of beautiful places. Saklikent is a canyon, a mountain gorge 15 km long, with a transparent mountain river. I had never been to western places before, until the Dalaman airport opened. In terms of costs, the trip turned out to be much cheaper than before, and the rest is better. Perhaps it depends on the travel agency - thanks to Marina from Favorit plus, she very accurately and quickly picked up and talked about the intricacies that saved me a lot of money. Rent a car or a dolmushka and you save 4 times on sightseeing tours.
