I'll start with the disadvantages and end with the advantages:
1) The Aegean Sea in September is quite cool, the water is 20-24 and according to the guides, even in summer when the heat is up to 45, the sea never rises above 25-26 degrees. Who cares, but for me it's not very good. And there is almost always a cool wind. This hotel has a shallow sea, the largest buoys up to the waist and a cold wind, you go, it blows on you, it's cold!!!
2) The territory is small near the hotel, there is nowhere to walk, especially in the evening, you don’t know where to put yourself, there is no entertainment. During the day, when it is light, you can still take a walk along the seashore, and when it gets dark, that's it.
3) The beach is small, narrow strip and three rows of sunbeds close to each other, very uncomfortable and even a lot of broken sunbeds. And since our Russian speakers are somewhere around 60% in the hotel and more (Ukraine, Belarus and others), there weren’t enough places in the shade for everyone. I’ll attach a photo. The information about the hotel says that the mattresses are paid, but no one offered them even for money! ! I would pay!!!
So much bleach is thrown into the pool that it is impossible to pass by in the evening! You will suffocate.
4) The rooms are not very large, there is one narrow wardrobe, there is nowhere to put a suitcase and a bag, it has been lying on the floor for two weeks. Thank God we were lucky with the accommodation, we lived in the 326 side room.
5) At the beginning they cleaned normally, every day they gave a dollar, then I noticed that not all the linen was changed, half somehow, then I stopped changing linen and towels at all, but I took a buck regularly! I was offended and stopped giving money, and of course, nothing else was done with us except throwing out the urn, we spat and did not even complain, so we lived out the remaining days. The carpet on the floor was dusty even on the day of arrival, and there was dust and dirt in the cabinets on the shelf.
6) FOOD!! ! Oh, this is a separate song! We were not fed so badly anywhere else. In the first three days, there was something terrible in general, then a huge number of Turks drove in and the food improved. For breakfast, there are no scrambled eggs and scrambled eggs never, they just don’t fry. They give boiled eggs and all sorts of vegetables, muesli and so on. It even happened that there were no eggs, or rather they were put, but they were taken apart instantly and when we arrived there was nothing. In the early days, they fed it like that, meat - only chicken or tiny cutlets, one tray was taken out who took that one and managed to eat the rest, eat what was left and there were huge queues at the beginning of the meal, everyone was running !! ! Some kind of horror! Always in the morning for breakfast there were olives and salted olives and they were never again at lunch or dinner. Sausage and cheese shabby on a grater (photo attached) does not happen in slices. This is the first time I see this! And the worst thing is coffee, tea only in the morning! no lunch and dinner! The cooler is turned off and covered with a tablecloth! It was incomprehensible to me! they put sweets, but there’s nothing to drink them with. You can run to the bar and get coffee or drinks like yuppies there, but it’s very inconvenient to run. Thank God they always gave watermelon, so we ate it. Puree soup is not tasty! If you are a vegetarian, you it will be normal in this hotel, if not, then it’s bad. And there are many more heavily peppered dishes, you take some vegetables, and there is one pepper!
About alcohol (for those who are interested): red wine is a chatterbox of disgusting taste, white is better, but also not very good. They took a local gin and tonic - it's impossible to drink - disgusting! Once we drank 2 cocktails of vodka tonic - this is 50 grams for the whole evening and in the morning we got up with a headache and swollen faces with bags. In short, obvious poisoning ! ! BODYAZHAT!! ! No longer take risks. You can only drink beer! And somehow I don’t really love him. In general, a pipe!
7) The excursion was taken for two days Ephesus + Pamukkale. Our host is Odeon Tour. And we had a guide on this tour named MAGOMED. I do not advise you to go with him! his father is Turkish, his mother is Kazakh and they came to Turkey to live. In short, his pronunciation is HORRIBLE! When he speaks quickly, nothing is clear at all, some separate Russian words, and he misrepresents historical facts a lot, if Odeon Tour is interested, I can send a detailed a report on what he said and what really is. He carried such a blizzard... His education, as he said, is historical, he's lying! Just bought a diploma! Any high school student will do this tour better than him! You need to fire him and not be dishonored !!!
I advise everyone not to throw money in the trash, but buy excursions from other tour operators, just do not go on excursions with MAGOMED !! ! It's a shame to pay a lot of money and not receive a minimum of information about where you are going. , emergency situations were 3 times, everyone was sitting and very afraid. He pulled the side of the bus against the curb, dodged so as not to crash, generally slowed down badly and it seemed that he was driving recently, it was scary.
Well, now about the merits: The building next to the sea is convenient. Very dry air! Asthmatics will be fine for you! The food is varied, we definitely weren’t hungry, because June was made from watermelons / melons, apples were rare. Turkish pastries are great. The sea is clean, the beach is clean, everything is neatly cleaned, security is everywhere. There was enough space for everyone, you need to bring your own towels on the beach.
