Were in June. The beauty is terrible, everything is very harmonious. Lots of foreigners. Food is excellent, lots of choice. The territory is amazing, the designer did his best, you just need to take a sea view. The sea was cool, it refreshes well. Animation almost every day, the staff is very friendly. I want to draw your attention to the fact that many reviews about this hotel refer to the neighboring ASARLIK_u, five-star. Royal Azarliku. We rested in ASARLIK BEACH 4 *, and in the five-star, of the same name, we went to the bathhouse, and just walked... We cooled off. Rooms. Royal Azarliku. We rested in ASARLIK BEACH 4 *, and in the five-star, of the same name, we went to the bathhouse, and just walked... We cooled off.
Rooms.
There is no shampoo or bathroom amenities in the rooms - only liquid soap (like in the free toilets) and towels. The bed was not changed for us even once in a week, although the children spilled the juice on the sheet. Remove - very bad. Brazenly knock on the door when you sleep during the day. If you don’t open it, the cleaner opens it with his key, so what if you’re not dressed... (in the five-star hotel there were indicators on the doors - the bed glows red - it means “I’m sleeping, do not disturb”). You lock yourself on the bolt - it bangs until you answer. Mzhet this they so only to Russian? A friend put a dollar under the ashtray - they removed it from her. I didn't guess. . . Hairdryer in the room - worked exactly 15 seconds. then overheated and turned off for 15-20 minutes. It is not possible to use.
NOW THE MAIN THING: THE AIR CONDITIONER DID NOT WORK. That is, he buzzed and drove the air, but did not cool him. It's over 40 degrees outside in August. The houses are two stories, I had a room on the second floor. In the morning the roof was heated - and there was nothing to breathe. I went to the reception - they twisted the remote control for a long time, put it on "cold", said that it would be better and left. But the effect was the same - that you set it at 30 degrees, that at 17. (Tourists were freezing in a five-star hotel... )
Staff.
ABSOLUTELY does not speak Russian. Some people know 1 word - thank you. And happily repeat it. This is nothing - only NONE of my colleagues from Ukraine-Russia were warned about this. Therefore, several of our tourists "hung" on me, which, however, I was glad...
We caught only one Russian speaker (slightly) in the bathhouse. Again, a five-star hotel. . .
Sea.
It is far below. The landscape of the hotel reminds a little of the Crimean Levadia. From the mountain to the mountain... But everything is green, pretty. There are stones in the sea. All the English-Germans-Italians - stick around the pool, where they are entertained by noisy animation students. If you want to communicate with fellow countrymen - you need to go to the sea. Ours are there. A couple of Germans differ from a distance with special rubber slippers for swimming (sold right there on the shore, in a shop).
City.
Gumbet is (in my opinion) a dirty village with a bunch of restaurants on the shore (Europe lies on pillows and dirty sofas in the evenings, smokes hookahs, sings karaoke, watches matches and humorous shows on TV). Interesting in Bodrum. Green minibuses go there for 1 euro. Clean, lots of shops, a beautiful promenade and a fortress. Good to go. You just need to be prepared for the situation. Yachts, the sea, ancient cities. . . Everything is in place. Hairdryer only needed to be taken : ) The hotel does not pull on 4 *!

What we liked: - quickly settled in the room (my friend and I really prudently put a little "green" in the passport, but I think only the type of room depended on it); - Well, very friendly staff! although this is part of their job, it's still nice. - the hotel is new and beautiful, in the lobby there is a huge hanging chandelier on all 6 floors - everyone comes in and stares when they see it for the first time. The rooms are different: small and medium and large with sea views (you are very lucky), each has individual air conditioning. We hardly used ours, because the windows of our room overlooked the courtyard, and it was cool for almost the whole day. So, we did not even begin to change ours to the number "with sea view". Very beautiful patio: small pools, flowers, trees in wooden tubs, stones. Very cozy in general: even in the corridors, you walk like at home, I'm very used to it. The hotel can be described for a very long time and a lot, but it's useless, because everything that is said in the recommendations about the hotel is all true. When choosing a hotel, we paid attention to the fact that it was, among other things, new, recently built. An important indicator of the quality of plumbing. Everything is new, from well-known manufacturers, at the level.
- about food (how not to say : -) ) I will not say that the choice is huge. Standard buffet for Turkey. . lots of sweets and dishes with their traditional food. But in THIS hotel, most of the food is insanely delicious (and didn't even have an upset stomach, sorry), everything is fresh and good. Grilled food is cooked on the open terrace - very tasty chicken. Once a week they even made a huge baked fish on a baking sheet in vegetables. . mm. Having tasted from sweet prunes with something there... I really experienced bliss . . to tears. By the way, you can eat there almost at any time of the day, if not in a restaurant, then in a cafe near the beach or in a lobby bar. Which is very convenient, who are on excursions.
- Spa center - a separate issue. We went and didn't regret it. By the way, the Turkish bath is really included in the price of your tour. But be sure to offer you some other massage or peeling, there are a lot of different ones. Each client has a separate time, that is, we came, and there was only one other person besides us. Carefully lathered and massaged the whole body: from the face to the fingertips . . Very nice. We ordered an additional oil massage. It cost 50 euros. But I think it was worth it. It was possible to buy a tour to a bathhouse somewhere on the street much cheaper, but why go somewhere, get dusty, roast in the sun, plus there will be a lot of people . . and everyone is like on a conveyor belt... you won’t understand anything.

- animation!! ! 12 people work and amuse people to the fullest! put on a crazy show! very funny! and every day everyone went to watch the performance.

- next to the hotel is the so-called "street of bars" in Gumbet. There is in Bodrum itself. But I didn't find a difference. You can play all night long.
- the room must be vacated by 12 noon. But you can use the hotel services for free, and eat, and go to the beach and take towels there. Anything. You can take a shower and go to the toilet in the spa center and in the shared showers. Luggage storage is free.
What did not like:
- cleaning in the rooms. . and other areas of the hotel (for example, shared showers, where you will go on the day of your departure). For "three". This is not the level of a 5 or 4 star hotel.
- Royal Asarlik Beach is terrible. Shallow (maximum to the waist), dirty (algae). But the sand is golden. But the problem with the beach is solvable. Go, as they write a lot, to the beach of the Asarlik hotel (it belongs to Royal Asarlik). And cleaner, and deeper, and there are even waves. Fine. True, the stones hurt the legs, they are at the very edge of the beach.
- when we rested, there were very few Russians. But we were warned - the resort of Bodrum is more focused on tourists from Europe. And so it turned out. There are Russians, but compared to English speakers, and even Poles... we are few. The staff, in this regard, is also only English-speaking. Naturally, who knows English well. language, no problem. And I only know the most basic. Therefore, not all of my "quirks" were understood. But this problem is also solved! A Russian girl, Lyudmila, from Perm works there. She helped us a lot. Big HELLO to you, suddenly you will read! (Oksana and Sveta)

- constantly had to wait a long time for the elevator to arrive. Either they break, or children play, or something else . . Of course, you can climb the stairs. But the restaurant is located on the 6th floor. So it's not always nice.
In general, in this hotel and in general in Bodrum, it is worth and should go. I'm sure you won't regret it. We really liked it, and even want to return there... Which we probably will do next year. GOOD LUCK AND HAVE A GOOD REST!! ! I hope my review will help you a little when choosing a hotel.

The hotel opened last year. Its territory is not very big, but very well-groomed and tidy. Lots of greenery, flowers, huge palm trees, fountains and streams. Near the pool - small waterfalls. There are 3 swimming pools in the hotel. In 2 of them there are sections for children.
The sea in this resort is Aegean - very salty and calm. The water in it is completely transparent. You come in, waist-deep, and you see flocks of magnificent fish swimming past you. Those who dived with a mask managed to find a very valuable product in cosmetology - a scrubbing washcloth, which was sold in the markets of Bodrum from 10 to 30 euros, depending on the size. It's true, going into the sea is not very convenient. Before going knee-deep, I had to rub my feet a lot on a lot of stones laid on the shore.
The food at the hotel deserves special praise! The selection is just fantastic! The menu always has meat and fish, vegetables and grill, an abundance of fruits and sweets. I especially remember the baked tuna, about a meter in size, cooked in a thick layer of salt, resembling dough.
And in Royal Asarlik Beach there is an amazing SPA complex, where they offer all kinds of massages, scrubs, as well as a Turkish bath and sauna. The latter, by the way, were included in the cost of our tour. We really liked the sauna. In a bucket of water, which we splashed on the stones, the servants poured some wonderful oil, which left a pleasant aroma in the air and on our skin! By the way, an amazing floral aroma was also heard in the corridors of the hotel, but we never figured out where it still taken.
The rooms were cleaned daily, towels changed every two days. Sometimes hearts were laid out of them on the bed, carefully sprinkled with rose petals. Well, after that, how not to feel like a queen?
The location of the hotel is very convenient. A 30-minute drive from the new airport, 20 minutes from Bodrum (the hotel is located in the village of GUMBET).
By the way, it is in Bodrum that one of the seven wonders of the world is located - the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus, called by the Romans the tomb of King Mausolus, who died in 352 BC. e.
One of the legends that has come down to us says that the widow of King Artemisia decided to build a magnificent tomb and thereby perpetuate the memory of her husband (according to another historical version, the construction of the tomb was started during the life of Mausolus, Artemisia only continued it).
The almost untouched mausoleum stood for approx. 1800 years in the middle of a deserted city until the 15th century, when it was dismantled by the crusaders, who reinforced it with plates of their stronghold on the Aegean Sea - the castle of St. Petra (modern Bodrum in Turkey). It was within the walls of the fortress and the surrounding houses that in 1857 the English archaeologist C. T. Newton discovered relief slabs from the basement of the tomb, statues of Mausolus and his wife Artemisia, and a colossal chariot that crowned the entire structure. All these details of the mausoleum are now kept in the British Museum in London and the Archaeological Museum in Istanbul.

Wonderful vacation. Service and staff are top notch. The food is very decent. The rooms are cleaned every day, and they do it so delicately that you don't notice when they have time to do it. You come and everything is taken away. Bodrum is an old beautiful ancient Greek city with many attractions. A small minus, which upon closer examination turns out to be a plus, is the lack of Russian-speaking staff. … More ▾ Wonderful vacation. Service and staff are top notch. The food is very decent. Bodrum is an old beautiful ancient Greek city with many attractions. A small minus, which upon closer examination turns out to be a plus, is the lack of Russian-speaking staff. The advantage is that the resort and its service is oriented to the level of Western Europe, and not the post-Soviet countries.
